Welcome to beautiful Kepos street! I'm looking for a housemate for a room which is available right now. I'd like to do interviews this week after 7pm. You don't need to buy any of the bits and pieces you need in a home as it's fully furnished with kitchen stuff, a nice new fridge, laundry, TV, PS3, comfy couch, and a hammock for the courtyard. Did I mention - there's a courtyard! The room can come fully furnished if you wish, or you can bring your own bedroom furniture. The room is middle sized, at the front of the house, with a HUGE (4 doors wide) built-in wardrobe. There is lots of space for storage! If you want it furnished, then there you can also use the double bed, mattress, side tables, lamp and washing basket. The rest of the house is fully furnished, and it's a pretty small place so ideal would be someone who doesn't have much furniture of their own. My house is in a quiet, leafy street with a beautiful community. The location is incredible - it's 2 minutes from Aldi, a Coles that's open til midnight, a pharmacy, wine store, sushi shop, food and awesome coffee. There's a park at the end of our block. Ten minutes walk from Crown St Surry Hills where you can find every kind of bar, restaurant and icecream you could wish for. Plus within 10 minutes is another shopping centre with a post office, butcher, fishmonger, chicken shop, key cutters, chinese food... and in the other direction is an amazing Italian grocer on Danks street... plus probably 40 restaurants within walking distance... literally everything you could need is within 10 minutes walk! It's the perfect location for people without a car. Public transport options are Redfern station which is about 20 minutes walk, Central which is about 25 minutes walk, as well as buses within 2 minutes going towards the CBD and Coogee (as well as other places I'm sure). It takes me about 30 minutes to get to work in the CBD in the morning - and it's actually only about 45 minutes walk if you're feeling sprightly. Unfortunately my lease doesn't look like it allows pets. If you have a super cute cat I'm sure we could ask them about it though...
