Shops, Garden City and public transport are close by (there's even a bike to get around) and it's a short trip to Freo. The house is fully furnished with aircon (in your bedroom too!!!) & gas heating. Foxtel & Netflix (on a 75" UHD TV) and Wireless Internet (UNLIMITED DOWNLOAD ADSL2+) are also available. I own a 2 bedroom villa, in a small complex of 8, in walking distance to Melville Plaza, public transport and the river. For students, Murdoch Uni and Notre Dame are a 15 min drive and UWA a 20 min drive. There is a bus stop on Preston Point Road (5 min walk) and on Canning Highway (10 min walk), which get you to the City in 30 mins and to Fremantle in 15 mins. The room comes fully furnished, including TV, new bedding and built in wardrobe. The bed is mine and needs to stay, but feel free to remove any other items from the room, or add to the room with your own belongings. You would be sharing a large bathroom, with separate toilet. There is also a decent sized shaded courtyard out the back that is great during summer. The villa is air conditioned, and, if you own a car, there is additional parking at the back of the complex. Being a villa, storage is limited and so this would suit someone with limited possessions i.e stuff! The kitchen is fully equipped, as is the laundrey and living area, so all you need to do is move in! The complex itself is quiet and well managed. I've lived here for a year now with no issues. I honestly find it a really convenient, central and relaxed place to be based. I also love the Bicton area - its proximity to Freo, some great local cafes, parklands, the river, beach is a short drive away and the area is very safe also. The neighbours in the complex all work or study full time, lead busy lives and keep to themselves. The room would suit a single female, either professional or a full time student, someone clean, quiet and easy going. Rent does not include bills. Bills are split between us as they are received, usually bi-monthly. There is no gas used in the villa and therefore no bills for this service. Alternatively, I am happy to negotiate a weekly rental price inclusive of bills. You will find living costs at my place compare well given the Bicton area.

Great little two bedroom duplex with a big back yard, fire pit and veggie patch. Located about 10 minutes from freo, walking distance to shops and farmers markets with off street parking or a bus stop directly opposite the front door! You need your own bedroom furniture but the rest of the house is pretty much set up, have a washing machine, fridge, deep freeze, electric stove but no TV or microwave and I don't want either so if you're a heavy TV watcher we're probably not compatible housemates! Rent is $165 and bond $800, bills have averaged $50 each every couple of months for electricity and I don't have Internet hooked up yet but will need to soon for study next year so am looking into options for that. We have one very quiet, friendly neighbour and so far the real estate have been pretty good to deal with! You would need to send them an application before being approved to sign the lease.

The house is 4x1 (two toilets) that has had some recent renovations to the kitchen, bathroom and has a new deck. The room available for rent is medium sized and can come with a queen bed and desk. Location wise, we are a short walk to Murdoch Uni, Kardinya shops, buzacott oval and if you take public transport, South st (for buses) is a 1min walk. Fremantle is about a 10 minute drive and the freeway is nice and close. The room will be $140 a week and we split all general bills like internet, power, gas etc (including food, but that is up to the individual). Currently there are two people living in the house; 2 guys in our 20's. We both enjoy a few drinks every now and again, however we also like to stay fit, love to get outdoors and are happy, clean and laid back people. There is also a dog, "Blue" who is only a pup but awesome with people. There is a gym in one of the sheds with a bouldering wall and we also have chickens laying fresh eggs daily!
