Ladies only, sorry guys. Yuuuuuge room with a vanity and desk, can easily fit a king sized bed and other furniture. The room is at the front of the house and gets heaps of light all day, plus you can sneak out or in easily or get a sneaky Uber eats without us noticing. Located just off Bell St in Preston, 5 or so minute walk to trams and buses, and close to Bell and Preston stations. Rent is $180 a week including internet. Ideal candidate would be someone working full time or part time who can commit to at least a 6 month lease. Basic hygiene and general cleanliness would be nice, just do your own dishes and don’t leave too much stuff lying about and we’re cool. The house is quaint and charming, it’s a 50s style kind of two bedroom house, one bathroom and two toilets, basic kitchen with a bajillion cabinets, laundry with washer and dryer, a big back yard, drive way but no garage. Awesome gas heating in the lounge and dining room. No pets or children sorry. About us Me - full time fresh food slave and cat mum. I’m pretty chill and very introverted but don’t mind a good chat now and then. I get up early for work Sun - Thur so won’t be around much of the week days but will be in most nights. The house has a dining room, a lounge that can be easily opened or closed to the rest of the house, and an expansive kitchen with windows opening out to a newly refurbished outdoor deck. The deck is perfect for summer meals, and there’s also a lawn area, veggie patch currently full of herbs and rocket, and a separate bungalow we use as a study/studio space. We've got an air conditioner in the living rooms to make the hot days a bit more pleasant, and central heating to keep us cozy in winter. There's lots of transport options with two buses on the street, the 86 tram a 6min walk away, and Preston Station 15min on foot, or 5min on the bus. We're also very close to Preston Market, and the High Street restaurants and grocers. The bedroom available fits a queen bed, bedside table, and all your clothes. There's also some nice built in shelving and a lovely big window. We're looking for someone easy-going who can help out with running the house without too much prompting, and is up for a bit of socialising too. While the rent is conveniently low, this is not a cheap student house. Mostly, we're after someone looking for a home and not just somewhere to store their stuff. Parking available off-street. There's a secure garage which I use for my two wheeled vehicles and storage. Big L-shaped living room offers decent space for activities including Fruit Ninja with Kinect (if you haven't done it, you're in for a treat), it also has a big, split system air conditioner. The unit is super only a 900m walk from the 86 tram, and bus routes 903 and 527 are at our door step! The house is reverse style living, meaning both bedrooms and bathroom are downstairs, and the main living/dining area is upstairs. Both bedrooms are carpeted and have generous BIRs. We have access to a private sunny balcony, and a small, grassy courtyard. There’s A/C units up and downstairs to keep us from melting during the summer time. Our bathroom has seperate bath and shower, and external toilet and laundry. There’s an additional powder room upstairs.
