This is a lovely quiet suburb close to Semaphore, Largs Bay & Port Adelaide with easy walks to beautiful beaches, sailing clubs, fishing, coffee shops and supermarkets. 500 metres or less to North Haven railway station (30 mins to city) and bus transport to West Lakes and South. The house has large living and dining areas, ducted air conditioning, dish washer, gas cooking and heating, big TV, BBQ, small secure garden, NBN internet. Your room is carpeted, has a built in mirrored robe, furnished with an adult size king single bed as well as a desk with hutch/shelves. The main bathroom and separate toilet is opposite your bedroom and is yours apart from visitors. There is a spare room with double futon lounge for overnight or short term guests. I have a few visitors and the occasional overnight guest, your visitors would be very welcome to visit too but not live here. I like a social and fun house but quiet, not a party house. I am looking for someone who will clean up after themselves and help keep the house tidy. About the house… Two bedroom open plan living, tidy cottage. Modern facilities and very comfortable to live in. Bedroom is unfurnished. All other white goods are already in the property. Room for another couch in the lounge room and happy for you to try and fit other furniture/belongings throughout, make yourself at home. Close to Port Adelaide and Semaphore. Cool bars and cafes only a stone’s throw away. Beach is a 5min drive, 15min walk. Reverse cycle heating and cooling in the living area only, but house is fairly well insulated. 25 min drive to the city up Port Road. 7min walk to Peterhead railway station on the outer harbour line, with express trains running regularly during peak hours. Secure backyard, with great outdoor entertaining area. Not a clean freak but like to keep the place tidy, I would expect the same of my new housemate. As per most leases, we are expected to maintain the garden. If you could help there too, that would be appreciated. Fairs fair, 50/50 on chores where possible. New housemate will need to go on the lease. Bond is approx. $1000. Lease at this stage is until Feb 2018, with the possibility of extending. Inspections take place once every three months. Bills will be split 50/50. We pay all of the water, not just useage as per lease. On average power bills are around $350 every three months, gas is normally around $200. I like to conserve power where possible; save the environment and keep things affordable. Internet is $60 a month, my old housemate has to contract so we may have to roll that over.
