My preference is to get a tenant over the year as I would like to get them on the lease but would be happy to accept anyone over the summer. The apartment has access to a gym, BBQ area and beautiful parks that are available to tenants of the building Location: The apartment is located in Barton, so it is close to the local shops (3 min walk), Kingston Foreshore (5 min walk) and civic (7 min drive). For those who don't have a car, the bus stop is within a 1 min walking distance of the building. Located on the third floor, the apartment is secure as is the underground carpark. There are 2 car spaces, but there is also street parking that is often available. There is off-street parking available and utilities are included in the rent. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed at the rental, as much as we would love one. Sorry but no smokers either. Also note that as we will not be in Canberra until late December (and there is work being done on the place at the moment), it will not be possible to do any interviews or viewings of the unit until the week before Christmas. The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, the only room available is through a private entrance room from the backyard, is larger but does not have a built-in cupboard, but has its own small deck and overlooks the backyard. This will be available Mid November. There are currently 4 girls and we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one! There is also going to be a baby joining the household end of February/March, so you would need to be ok living with a small child if looking to stay after this date.
