We are looking for a third person to join our fantastic apartment on the Kingston Foreshore. The apartment has an amazing view across Lake Burley Griffin, has a very large open plan living space with plenty of natural light. Apart from the bedroom, the apartment is fully furnished with some cool 70s furniture and lots of plants! The bedroom is large and has a big built-in robe and ensuite bathroom. It also has it's own air conditioning and includes an underground secure carpark. The apartment is close to Kingston shops, Manuka, and the foreshore. The apartment is on top of the Walt and Burley bar so there's a bit of noise but if you're a deep sleeper it should be fine (it doesn't bother Ed and I).
This apartment is beautiful and brand new with ducted reverse cycle air-conditioning. The apartment will be furnished (but also room for some of your things if you want to bring anything), but the bedroom will be unfurnished. The bedroom is not huge, but you will have your own bathroom (the main bathroom) and the room also has built-in robes. The apartment has 2 secure car spaces (which is rare to find!) and a basement storage cage. The apartment is in an awesome location! Only minutes to the city and Lake Burley Griffin, 10 minute bike ride to Braddon (or 5 minute drive), 15 minute bike ride to Kingston foreshore (or 8 minute drive) and 14 minute bike ride to Barton. I love this place so much that I couldn't let it go even though I'll be leaving the country in the beginning of February! The apartment is very spacious and private with 2 bedroom and 2 bathroom, with doors out of each room onto a different patio.
The house is pretty amazing, it feels like it's come off a set of Mad Men, it's a stupidly cool place to live. The house is fully furnished, has cork floors throughout, floor to ceiling windows around the whole back of the house that opens onto an entertaining deck and backyard, the house is filled with light and has beautiful timber panelling throughout. All bedrooms are all queen size, the bedroom has a bed and built in wardrobe, there is one room available it is the only room at this end of the house near loungeroom, it has a built-in cupboard with shelves and a cupboard outside room for hanging clothes also available, it overlooks back deck and the backyard. This will be available end of January. We have 1 girl & 2 boys aged in mid 20's, and me in my early 40's I own a cafe in the city, we are looking for another housemate, we enjoy each others company, eat occasionally together, giggle a lot and respect each other's space. Our household is a fun one! There is also a baby in the household 8 weeks in Mid Jan, so you would need to be ok living with a small child if looking to stay after this date. 10 minute walk to the City Centre Shops with such cheap rent, it is hard to go wrong with our humble house. You only share a bathroom with one tidy male and the kitchen is well equipped. Minimal gardening and other chores required to maintain the house. Also close to the War Memorial and other popular tourist attractions and plenty of room if you have interstate/international visitors who want to stay for a bit. Plenty of space for cars and pushbikes!
