Hi there, My partner Jenna and I have recently bought and are looking to rent out the two bedroom flat on the first level of our house. We are situated right on the beach and have direct access outside our front yard. We have two amazing dogs (German shepherds), Albi and Harley who are terrific guard dogs, however are the most loyal, friendly, loving dogs you will meet. We’re happy to share our outside area and ask that you keep in mind that the property will be a working environment with gardening and home renovations happening in 2018. These will not interrupt your living arrangements :), however ask that you keep it in mind if I’m out mowing the lawn or attempting to knock down a wall :) We are very respectful towards those who live with us and will ensure transparency when anything comes up. We are very open, welcoming and happy people who love a laugh and good food, music and time with those around us. We’re hoping to find people who enjoy their own space but don’t mind an invite to join in on a bbq every now and then if you like. Buses run along the street and it is a 6minute walk to local grocery shops, coffee/bakery stops and eatery’s with doctors, pharmacies, bottle shops and restaurants a short 2 minute drive away. Driving into the CBD takes APPROX 18-22minutes and the airport is 18minutes away. If there is just 1 renter looking to apply we’d ask for $200 per week, however if there is 2 renters we’d ask $150 each per week (equaling $300 combined). Beautiful house in a quiet street close to shops including North Hobart which has everything you could want. There is a park 20 meters down the street and I have bicycles available for use at no cost except $100.00 bond which will be returned to you providing it is not damaged or stolen. Locks and helmets are supplied and the bikes have racks and bags. The house is well equipped with everything you need including NBN, TV and Stereo System. It's not a party house but do what you want as long as you don't disturb the neighbors. Smoking outside is fine, I do it myself and always wish I could give them up. I have a 2004 Peugeot Turbo Diesel Station Wagon which you can hire for $50.00 per day which maybe discounted depending on how long you want it and how far you are going. It is insured but if damaged and excess will apply, and the excess has to be paid prior to you taking the car, and will be refunded when you return the car, provided the car is not damaged. The rooms both have double beds so I can accommodate up to 4 people and may discount the rate depending how many people there are and how long you will be staying. I can direct you to other places for accommodation on the east coast near St Helens and at Bruny Island. I have heaps of books to read and magazines showcasing Tasmania's hot spots.

It’s technically a four bedroom house but we like to keep the fourth bedroom free as storage space, for house guests (we have a spare bed) or for tutoring music students which happens occasionally in the afternoon during the week as we are both classical musicians. The bedroom available is fully furnished with a double bed, desk, chair, drawers and clothes hanger. Bills aren’t included in the rent but we spilt gas bills every month and we have unlimited WiFi, which is $20 each per fortnight. Kitchen is decked out with all the usual appliances and there’s a washing machine available in the laundry outside. We enjoy having a bit of extra space in this large house and making use of the backyard (weather permitting!). Our latest addition to the backyard is a basketball hoop, we’ve thought about planting a herb garden but neither of us our devoted gardeners so it hasn’t happened yet... but it’d be fine to do so if you wished! We have a driveway where I park my car, could fit another car. We enjoy our proximity to the city and being walking distance from most places.
