The house is very close to shops and bus stops, 5kms to the city, large house with two lounge-rooms, small shed, two toilets and an open kitchen. We share house duties and have a cleaning roster so it works out that you'd only have to clean once every 5 weeks. We have internet available also and split all bills equally between 5. We have a room for rent in a large old house. The house was built sometime in the 1920's it is old and a little rough around the edges but has a very homey feel. Located on a quiet family orientated street just off Magill rd close to restaurants, supermarkets and public transport. Also in very close vicinity to the Norwood parade. The house currently consist of 2 females and 1 male in our mid-late 20’s. We are all hard working busy individuals and would be looking for like minded person. We do not want a party house but are not opposed to a few quiet drinks here and there. We have a beautiful Labrador (who is super friendly) and a cat who is in and out, so you must love animals- at this point we do not want anymore pets. The room is large, high ceilings and has carpet. The house is fully furnished aside from the available room. Rent is $113 per week. Rent is paid fortnightly. Bond is $560 Bills are split evenly between the housemates- so we all need to be considerate of each other when using utilities. We have a 500GB wifi allowance which is $15 per month each. Pretty relaxed living space - great for studying and close to city, Norwood shops etc. Very old villa with lots of rustic charm and a nice garden with plenty of room to start veggie patches/ pursue hobbies etc. It's a lush place that is surely very inviting for those with a green thumb. The house is very old, circa 1880 and was likely one of the first establishments in the area. Yep they sure don't build them like they used to, and this old beast has certainly stood the test of time. With it comes the energies of families, lovers, artists and travelers from all walks of life across many different parts of the world. The space is a quiet place and best suited for those who like peaceful living, with the occasional dinner with friends and good banter. I have a large double room available at the front of the house. It has been recently repainted and has a queen bed, large standing desk, shelving and open hanging space for clothes. It is a comfortable space with lots of room. I would ideally like a couple in this room as it reduces rent and makes living here quite cheap, however i am open to single applicants also. With three people here it's $100 each per week, which includes ADSL. Water and electricity are extra and charged quarterly. I like being around people who are light hearted with a sense of humour, and preferable experience with share-house living.
