Coochiemudlo Island is a small island only 8 minutes from bayside Brisbane and a reasonably easy commute to/from the city. My cottage is a 3 bedroom small neat comfortable cottage built and styled for casual seaside living. The cottage has a deck, hammock and garden with outdoor tables. It is quiet, peaceful, with leafy trees, birds and a bit like having a 1970's relaxed carefree lifestyle with modern technology :) The island has beaches on 3 sides, has a licensed cafe, resort, a 9 hole golf course, tennis courts, and lovely places to swim, kayak, laze about reading and live the life you've imagined. I'd like to share with a mature friendly tidy person. Discounted rent if you're happy to be the main cleaner/or if you can mow :)

We are ideally situated an easy 10-15-min walk to Ormiston railway station. Surrounded by parklands and bush, we are in a peaceful residential area, but only 10 minutes drive to most facilities in the Redlands and points of interest. As our flat mate, you would have the use of your room, fully equipped kitchen and laundry and own bathroom. There is a large outdoor entertaining area and a 12M solar heated pool to relax in.
