We've just moved in to a house in Hidden Valley, and we've got a spare bedroom to rent out. It's a large 4 bedroom house with high quality appliances throughout. The entire house is furnished except for the bedrooms. The bedrooms are large and have built in robes. The kitchen is stocked with brand new cutlery, crokery, and cookware, it’s got a massive stove/oven, and TWO HUGE 570L fridge/freezers means enough space for everyone - you'll get half of a massive fridge/freezer all to yourself! The living area has a large 65' 4K UHD TV, and will be able to stream videos from Netflix or YouTube via the unlimited high-speed NBN Wi-Fi. The laundry has a brand new Bosch washing machine - German quality! We also have a gym set in the Garage (Bodyworx home gym with leg press and crosstrainer). All of the bills, including cleaning products, laundry powder, toilet paper, etc, as well as the internet, electricity, water, and gas, are bundled up for $30 per week on top of the rent. This way, everyone chips in equally, and no-one has to dread a big power bill taking the fun out of their weekend. Its close enough to the city that you can commute during the week, its 5 minutes to the train station with trains leaving every hour, and taking 45min into the cbd. Has a decent sized kitchen, gas stovetops, NBN the landlord has organised a gardener, so the outside is maintained by a third party. I do have a cat, he's a gem and doesnt cause any issues, but if youre not into kittens, probably reconsider.

Ours is a very large, two storey house on a sizeable farm with cattle and horses. It is rural and quiet with many trees including a small orchard near the house. Bird life is plentiful and varied and we have a resident pea hen. Unfortunately, no pets can be brought onto the property. We are located 10 mins from Gisborne; 15 mins to Bacchus Marsh; 20 mins to Riddells Creek and Woodend; 35 mins to Kyneton; and, 40 mins to Melbourne Airport. Each floor has a large shared kitchen (the downstairs will be completed by early November). Kitchen utensils and cookware are available for your use. There is a communal laundry on the top floor. Each floor also has its own beautiful shared lounge room with bay windows overlooking the farm and the Macedon Ranges. Both lounges include a wood fire and formal dining room. A separate TV room adjoins the top floor kitchen. There is plenty of space for barbecues and outside living. All bills and internet access are included in the rent. We have several rooms available over the two floors. Currently Rooms 2 and 3 are occupied. The first bedroom is large with a dressing room with ample storage space. It can easily fit a kingsize bed, desk and comfortable sofas or chairs. The picture windows look out over the Macedon Ranges. The private bathroom is large and includes a bath. It is suitable for couples. The cost is $250 for a single and $300 for a couple, per week. The second bedroom is also large with a BIW. It is suitable for a king single, or possibly a double. A small desk and chair will fit into it. The available bathroom is large and shared with one, perhaps two flatmates. The cost is $160 per week. Currently taken. The fourth and fifth bedrooms are downstairs and can be suitable for couples as well as individuals. They each have a BIW. We are in the process of building a new kitchen and another full bathroom downstairs. At the moment there is a shower and toilet available. Whilst the renovations are being completed (by the end of November) the rent is $160 per room for a single person and $210 per room for a couple. When the new rooms are fully functional the rent will raise to $180 per room for a single and $230 per room for a couple, per week. There is plenty of off street parking, but not undercover and included in the rent. Some limited garaged car space is available at an extra cost. The access road is sealed and the winding driveway has a gravel surface. Entry is by a security gate. My partner and I will continue to live on the property. We will be pleased to be your neighbours, and I will be actively working the farm.
