All bedrooms have windows and natural light, with stunning views of Mt Wellington from our kitchen/dining area. Cosy lounge, furnished (so there is pretty much only space in people's bedrooms for new housemate's furniture. It's a small place :)) Heating - gas in kitchen and electric in lounge. Bathroom - includes laundry facilities and toilet; mixed schedules help avoid traffic jams almost any time of day. There is a nice big bathtub, too :) Backyard - a lovely little space with clotheslines for drying linen, a small fruit tree and space for people to chill out and read/bbq etc Kitchen - gas stovetop and oven, space for dry food storage and two fridges between four. We compost our vegetable scraps and recycle as much as we can. Shared philosophy of using environmentally friendly kitchen and bathroom products is appreciated and preferred here, but we understand not everyone has learned these things wherever they come from, so we share what we know and always try to do better. Parking - on-street, one council permit available upon application with the HCC. Internet - shared NBN account Cleaning - very simple cooperative roster :) Surprisingly quiet home given how close we are to the Brooker Highway and the CBD. Very lucky noise break somwhere coming up the hill!
