It is peaceful, secluded and rich with wildlife, and only 20 mins to Byron, 10 mins to Mullum and 15 mins to Bangalow. The space you can call your own is the entire upstairs part of the main house which includes the main bedroom, an office, a small lounge/yoga area and balcony. The total rent is $392 per week (includes landline phone, electricity, mowing and WiFi). The space is available early August. Payment of 2 weeks rent in advance plus bond of $1570 is required. The downstairs part of the main house is a shared space with the kitchen (gas), dining area, chai lounge with wood fire (perfect on the winter nights) and bathroom. Best of both worlds. Feels like you live in the country but only 5 minutes from town. Lots of space. Wake up to bird song and a view of the countryside. The room is large with built in wardrobes. We are easy going people and respect each others space. We share responsibilities for cleaning and keep shared spaces tidy. The main bathroom is a three way bathroom which makes it easier to share. You must understand the principles of recycling as we recycle and compost everything that we can.

Our house is a beautiful large, spacious and light house in a quiet area of Goonellabah but just 20 mins walk from several shops, gym, leisure centre, library etc. and a 10 minute drive to Lismore. The room is suitable for a single person at $180 per week including all bills- electricity, water, wifi, and use of swimming pool and veggie/herb garden. Inside the house is fully furnished with all modern conveniences. We have electric heating inside and a wood burning stove for additional heat in winter. The house is clean and tidy and everyone living here is easy going and friendly. The main house rules are keeping the house clean and tidy and we also have a no-alcohol/drugs and smoking policy. The Edge was originally built for student accommodation. It is a "men" only facility. It is a great place to stay if you need to spend time in Lismore. Handy to Rous Road shops, pool, BBQ area, recreation room with pool table, DVD's, shared kitchen and bathrooms and laundry. Common areas are cleaned daily. Linen is supplied and washed for you. There is a cafe' in our building. Suitable for businessmen, tradies, professionals needing an economical place to stay. If you require a shorter stay I have daily and weekly rates. Foot path isn't the greatest. If you are interested in the property please have references available with rental history. If your a Kim Kardashian this isn't for you. I think it suits as a man cave single working Dad with one child/two....or Dad with part time care.The second bedroom is quiet small.
