A room in a fantastic two bedroom apartment is up for grabs. Located in quiet and pretty St Lucia you will be just minutes from UQ and cafes, bars and restaurants. Toowong Village is only down the road for all your shopping needs, as is Indooroopilly Shopping Centre. Public transport is just dos (two) minutes away, with busses straight to Toowong and the city and also direct to UQ. Two train station just minutes away (Toowong Station and Taringa Station). Guyatt Park city cat terminal is just down the road just 5 minutes away which makes for a lovely trip into town or even all the way to Hamilton and Eat Street in Northshore. The room is spacious and fully furnished with a queen bed and a desk (but furnishings are flexible). Built in double wardrobes allow for massive storage and fans and blinds keep the temperature well managed. The house has all its own furniture and all basic appliances. The house has inbuilt dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee machine, microwave, and electric oven and cooktop. House has reverse cycle air conditioning which is very useful in summer and heating in winter. The house has an open plan living room/dining room (with lots of lovely light), a nice balcony with lovely views of the city, kitchen, powder room and a bathroom (with bath and shower). Also space for one car in garage where laundry is also located. We also have a large TV with regular channels and I have a chromecast so easy watching of all the best stuff direct from your local internet, our internet is also unlimited. Hello! I am a current UQ student transferring to another campus and am therefore looking for someone to takeover my lease. In all honesty, I haven't stayed in much as was usually traveling so the room is practically as new as I rented it a couple of months ago. It's a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom, modern, newly constructed apartment, for $280/wk, available anytime from within this month. As I was, you'll be living in a private bedroom with ensuite bathroom in this apartment. This room opens up to the terrace, has a full wardrobe, an excellent condition bathroom with modern fittings (this was an important factor for me when I was looking for this place), elevator, gym, and designated carparking space in underground garage. The other room is occupied by a very cordial, considerate, and respectful UQ PhD student. All other appliances are included, like AC, dryer, washing mahine, ironing, stove, fridge, etc so you don't have to worry about anything. In case you do not have your own furniture or bed etc, I would be happy to sell the one in the room to you. Everything is only a month or two old, bought from IKEA.
What is great about this property. Most importantly. The Flatmates. They are fun, easy going, interesting and enjoyable to be around. I am looking for someone as above. What else is good.
