This house is set on 20 acres as it is was a farming family homestead. It has spacious surrounds, sheds available for storage, a good distance from highway noise but the bus stop is a 5 minute walk. We often still have cattle and sheep in the paddocks and we have 2 peacocks which do make noise but are nice to have around. The house is insulated and has one AC unit and a fire place in the living area.

Being only a 10 minute drive from the Bendigo CBD, but all the perks of country living, with a big house, on a big block, with trees and a garden, make this place great. There are 4/5 bedrooms in the house, but we are looking to only fill the 3rd one (after Rebecca in one room and Me in another), leaving plenty of room for guests and friends to visit. We are ideally looking for someone who only wants to stay for 12 months or less, as Rebecca will be leaving back to the USA at the end of the year and I'm not sure what will happen to the house after that. But that is not set is stone and a longer term arrangement could be made if it works out for us all :) All bedrooms are of a good size. There will be a few rooms for you to choose from, as I'm in the process of rearranging the house and happy to work in with what type/size room you would like. It can have a queen bed, If required or you can bring your own stuff! But happy to provide everything you could need. The whole house and every room has good ducted heating, so warm in winter, and evaporative cooling , so great in summer too. There is only one shower in the house to be shared between the three of us, but there is two toilets, so no worries and being locked out of the bathroom and needing a loo. The backyard and undercover area of the house is a real highlight!! There is a swing, a greenhouse, exensive gardens, two fire pits, and an extensive undercover area, which has a outdoor lounge suite, a table and chairs set, a bar fridge as well as a bar table and chair set, great for mornings and brunch!! We love entertaining!! oooo, there is also two double hammocks!! Your welcome to use all or none of the backyard, if its not your thing! The house has a very normal kitchen set up, which flows into the dining area, then a very large open living area, with the all important Tv and bar!! There is currently a second living area as well which is set up with a fouton, a small desk and a TV, for those time you want to get away, get some sun (that room have the best winter sun) or just chill. Most importantly there is a house cat called Zari. She is a Blue Russion mix! She is an indoor cat but we let her out sometimes. She loves pats and sitting on laps, not so much being picked up, but not many cats do!! SO if you hate cats, or are allergic, this might not be the best fit for you. There is undercover parking for two cars, partial undercover parking for one other car, and open parking for a fourth. First in Best park is our rules :D Only really in the deep of winter are the undercover parks fought for :P no one likes scraping off frost from their windscreen :P There is also a washing machine and dryer, and all the kitchen appliances you could think of! I love cooking. In terms of bills, these are evenly split between the three of us as they arrive. $30 a month each for unlimited great internet, and the other bills roughly work out to be $15 a week, a little less sometimes or a little more, depending on season :D. So I guess you could say its roughly $165 a week for the rent and bills all included. Pretty chilled household. We hang out in the evenings and watch tv. Sometimes have dinner together. Kitchen has large walk-in cupboard and a massive fridge. Main tv has Netflix and stan for everyone to use. Unlimited internet. Bills are split evening every month. There are 2 dogs here which are mine, no other pets are allowed. Private rental with me, normally only have an insection twice a month. As long as the hosue is kept clean and dishes arent stacked up im happy.
Only 3 year old house, do have a hot tub I do have 2 rooms To choose from one has a walk in robe the other just normal that I use as an office The room come with a bed I can dismantle it and store it in the garage, my house has a separate Lounge room that I don’t use but your welcome to put a tv in there. I also have a house cleaner that comes every fortnight she only cleans bathrooms and the floors I have just recently installed solar panels to the house so power bills should not be a problem but we will have to split the bills power and gas
