There is NO bus service within walking distance from home, but there is a bus service in Richmond town centre. I drive to Hobart most days (I work in the CBD) which takes about 20 - 25 mins. I have plenty of off-street parking. Quiet home on a couple of acres overlooking the Coal Valley. The deal would be no board / rent (but food and internet to be paid by you) in exchange for some childcare when I need to go away for work and some housework (e.g. floors, bathrooms, shared room). I do not go away every week or month - but, there are patches where I may be away for 1-3 nights. I never work over weekends. We have previously had PhD student boarders in Geelong (our last house) and it worked well. You must be friendly and easy going.

We have recently lost one housemate due to an interstate move and we wish to fill his room asap. Ideal for someone who is a university student or working within the Hobart CBD. This house has been recently renovated, featuring 2 bathrooms one which has a bath (which is somewhat rare for older houses in Hobart), an outdoor courtyard, large kitchen and multiple indoor fires to keep you warm during the depth of winter. Your room is the largest of the house, which will be left with a robe for hanging space with a few draws, all other furniture will be removed. Unfortunately, there is no off-street parking available, that being said, there is some all day parking just up the road which you can generally snag a spot and leave your car there. An additional perk of this property us a sweet little studio space/spare bedroom upstairs. This house is furnished, however, any additional furnishings for the house may be needed. The spot couldn't be better; you can walk everywhere and the farmers market is on our street. Rent is $325 paid fortnightly with a $650 bond needed.
