We are the Wood Family and we have a large room with own bathroom available for you to rent immediately, as a Homestay. We have two young adult children, Sarah 21 and Christopher (Chris) 20 and two small and very friendly dogs, Poppy and Belle. We are a hospitable family and love having people stay in our home. We hosted Antoine, a French student for 3 months last year. Chris is also studying at Macquarie University which is about a 30 min train trip. Alan, my husband and I, are originally from England and have lived in Sydney for 27 years. Our home is in beautiful Berowra, a village in the midst of the Ku Ring Gai Chase National Park, which is a 50 minute train ride north of Sydney, and the station is an easy 20 minute walk from our home.

The main livingroom even has a bar, though not currently operational as I'm not a big drinker :) The house is furnished, though sparsely, I'm a bit of a minimalist. I'm an artist and photographer so if you get bored of the view their are nice things to look at that are hanging on the walls. I'm looking for people that are responsible, stable, easygoing but a little bit social to. If you are a slob or clean freak, feel free to happily to express these desires in your room! Personally I run down the centre of these extremes ;)
This is a lovely bright and airy 2-bedroom townhouse located in a very quiet part of South Woy Woy with a bush setting/lookout and district views over to Woy Woy Bay. It is the last townhouse in a small complex of 10, so there is only one neighbour on one side of the building who is also very quiet. You will be sharing with one female only. The complex is immaculately presented and very well maintained. There is a small courtyard as well as a large balcony overlooking the complex and distant views. It is close to buses and trains (a five minute walk to the bus stop going to Woy Woy or Umina) and a 5-10 minute bus ride to Woy Woy Train Station. I also have a small female cat, so someone who loves animals is a must, especially cats. The room for rent is quite roomy with a single bed and large built-ins with plenty of storage.

Currently looking for someone to move into my spare room. The complex is 2 minutes walk from Gosford train station and Gosford Hospital. The apartment is fully furnished and completely tiled and stays pretty cool on stupidly hot days. While it only has 1 bathroom, there is a second toilet in the laundry which also has a washing machine and dryer. There is a large patio with a bbq which is fab for entertaining. There is access to visitor parking in the garages and also off street parking. Would be perfect for someone working at Gosford hospital or commuting to Sydney. The bedroom available is an unfurnished double room with a built in wardrobe with sliding mirrors. It is big enough for a queen bed and two bedside tables, or a queen bed, bedside table and chest of drawers (i know because my room is the same size and it's deceptively big).
