I'm looking for a couple to move into a spacious unfurnished room. The house is 3 bedroom and pet friendly. The third room is very small and gets quite hot in summer, so I would prefer to keep it as a spare room/office area. I've lived in this house for 2.5 years(ish) and it's a quirky property. Being an older house with not a lot of maintenance, there are a few issues, but nothing huge. Just things like a ceiling fan that isn't functional and a few light fixtures that blow quickly for unknown reasons. The landlord is very laid back, she does 3 monthly inspections through the agency and pays the water levy. I have a fridge, dining table set, washing machine and all that sort of thing. Rent is $220 for a couple. Bond is $800. The house is literally a 2 minute walk to the 281 and W90 bus stop, which both go to the city, or the O-Bahn is about a 10 minute walk through Linear Park. I have a large driveway and a shed, but it has never been used, so I can't guarantee it is spider free. I have a HUGE yard (seriously, it's almost a paddock), and the place is pet friendly. I am looking for someone who has a friendly dog, or is wanting to get a friendly dog, so the yard gets some use. I do already have a small dog and a cat, but the person I lived with previously has a golden retriever who will be sorely missed! If the dog is house trained and not destructive, it will be welcome inside, as my dog sleeps in the kitchen. The yard is about as low maintenance as possible, meaning that I've never done any gardening since living here. If one of my potential housemates wouldn't mind mowing the weeds back (they're brutal) that'd be great and I'd be happy to pay $20 extra a fortnight of rent, otherwise we can discuss a monthly gardener and split the cost.
