A gorgeous nook up Mount Dandenong, 8 minutes drive from Belgrave station (just 1 train into city) and 8 minutes from supermarket. 1 room for rent, all household items provided including all kitchen appliances, brand new heat pump dryer, gas heater and split system heating/cooling, washing machine, dishwasher, 2 fridges, 1 freezer, microwave, big tv, Foxtel and Telstra internet. We are on tank water (3 water tanks) so water is free, and we split monthly cost of electricity, gas, and internet/Foxtel (it obviously varies but you’d roughly be spending $40 per week for gas, electricity, Foxtel and internet (unlimited). The room is not huge but has a big cupboard and there is some extra storage space around the house if you really need it. The tv has apple tv with netflix and stan which you can use or you can connect your own console, unless you prefer it in your room. I dont mind There is a gas heater on the wall but sadly no aircon. The blinds protect against abit of heat but i mostly just use a fan. Also the garage has a ping pong table and I have a firepit and (at the moment) plenty of wood.

Walking distance to Ferntree Gully train station, close to local shops (Mountain gate shopping centre, Safeway and Aldi), bike tracks and the Tim Neville Arboretum. Knox city Westfield is only a 5 minute drive away :) Close access to bus stops too. The house is in a safe liveable condition however it is not completely finished inside. There are all the essentials you need - kitchen, laundry, bathroom and the like. Whats not done? Painting, some of the floor covering (there is a floor - it's just not finished product) and some small other bits and pieces. The reason it is a short stay and such a good price is because after 6-12 months the finishing touches of the house will be getting completed (painting and timber flooring).
