Looking for a female housemate to share a two bedroom house with me and my two little dogs. Large room with double bed and huge wardrobe that any girl would love. There is a second room that you are more than welcome to make into a study or art room or really anything else. The second room could even be set up as an extra living area if you like. I work full time in Canberra and am looking for someone that is easy going, clean and not going to be a stranger around the house. Loving or enjoying being around dogs is a must. Looking for someone in their mid to late 20's. Send me a message and tell me a little about yourself. -2 weeks bond -room can be unfurnished if needed. -must like dogs -NBN unlimited internet included - undercover carpark if leaving car for long periods of time -shared bills and general cleaning -single bathroom with seperate toilet. Any other questions feel free to send me a message :)
Apartment with your own living area, bathroom and balcony. Shared gallery style kitchen. Bills and unlimited NBN internet included in rent. Underground parking with a storage shed. Close to Canberra and downtown Queanbeyan. Please text or message during business hours.
I'm a 26 year old professional female that is looking for a house mate in the Queanbeyan area. I am a very fun and outgoing person. The apartment is modern and the room will include the main bathroom for yourself. Electricity, gas and Internet to be split. Unit is fully furnished except for the spare room.
A quiet street, only a few minutes to the centre of Queanbeyan and Fyshwick. King size room with built-in wardrobe. Backyard with undercover deck, plus an internal storage room/guest room and external storage area connected to the garage and carport. Foxtel connections are available but not currently connected. In-built heating and airconditioning, with a newly renovated kitchen.
Hi, I have a fully furnished room (QS bed; cupboard) that will be AVAILABLE FROM 2 July 2017. My lovely housemate's work contract has ended and she is moving back to Maitland! I am away often for extended periods (I am a full-time research student) but I will be around until at least September. My house is a RENOVATED WEATHERBOARD close to Queanbeyan CBD. There is a lovely garden and back deck. Gas heating and cooking and solar hot water (with a manual electric booster) and NBN wireless and 4G. There is off-street parking for one car and on-street parking is time unlimited. There is public transport a short walk to town (less than 10 minutes) and Queanbeyan railway station is a 15 minute walk. And if you work in Canberra city, there is a park-and-ride just across the border in Fyshwick. Or if you are into cycling there is bicycle path into Canberra that swings past the park-and-ride. Because I am away a lot, I am looking for someone who is willing to do the garden while I am not there - THIS IS ESSENTIAL! OR you will need to pay to have someone do it. You must be a clean and tidy person to live with. I prefer a vegetarian household - i.e. I do not eat meat, fish or poultry - but if you do eat meat then you are welcome to cook meat on the gas bbq that is undercover just outside the kitchen door. I do not want more furniture brought into the house - the house is fully furnished and well equipped. Bills would be shared with my share being based on a pro-rata basis for when I am there i.e. if I am away for extended periods and not just a weekend or week on hols. No animals/pets sorry even though I occasionally have my kelpie come and stay. So you will have to like dogs. She is quiet and well trained. Please do not hesitate to give me a hoy if you are in any way interested. Any references would be helpful. If you would like to speak to my former housemate then that too can be arranged. Cheers, Juliana

I'm sad to say I'll be leaving my beautiful home in Narrabundah as I'm headed for Melbourne for uni, move in dates are negotiable but ASAP is preferred :) A bit about why I love this place so much... Location location location!! Our home is a situated in a beautiful leafy street walking distance to Manuka, Kingston, Kingston foreshore and Griffith. It's a 5 minute walk to the Fyshwick markets for all of your fresh food shopping on the weekend and Narrabundah shops for restaurants, your local grocer, a community garden and a cute little op shop with lots of cute vintage finds too. Civic and Woden are both a 10 min drive. There's an oval a couple of blocks down the street and beautiful walks around the place with forrest-y feels and a creek too! There's much to explore! The house: The house itself is a gorgeous spacious and modern home with old-school charm. We have a big back yard with a BBQ, fire bin and veggie patch. The house has central heating essential for Canberra's winters and summers, the living room is huge with big windows that bring in gorgeous morning sun, the place is fully equipped (the photos are old, we have a TV now!) but there's always room for more stuff and there's extra storage in the garage too. The room: The room is a good size and fits my queen bed, TV, two sets of large drawers and a bedside table with heaps of room to spare for those who want a desk and extra furniture. It has built in wardrobes and a big window that looks onto the garden.
Resort style living. The room has a great view overlooking Capital golf course. Very quiet at the rear of the Madison apartments away from street noise. Only minutes from Manuka. Kingston and Griffith shops. The room is large and is a combined bedroom / living area. There are two other living areas in the apartment, two bathrooms, two balconies and an updated Bosch kitchen. The apartment has reverse cycle air conditioning. Within the apartment complex there is a gym, swimming pool, tennis court and BBQ area. A two minute walk to the bus stop where the 4 or 5 bus goes directly to the City or Woden. Five kms from Parliament House and close to Narrabundah college, St Edmund's and St Clare's colleges and Fyshwick markets. A 10 minutes drive to the airport and five minutes to the train station.
It's a fully furnished room in a fully furnished 4 bedroom 2 bathroom house on a very quiet street in Narrabundah. The house is easy to heat in winter and cool in summer. We're located about 10minutes drive from city. Looking for a mature, responsible person to share with 3 others. The room is furnished with a king single bed, bedside table, desk. You will be sharing bathroom with another person.
Massive master room available in friendly share house. The room has double wardrobes, plenty of natural light and your own ensuite. The room can come unfurnished. Alternatively I am looking to sell my bed and other bedroom furniture. Heating and air con in the bedroom and throughout the apartment. The apartment is very spacious, with a separate living area and dining room. There is a large well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, large fridge and plenty of storage space. It is fully furnished (the photos are from the room when it was first rented out, I will post shortly with existing furniture). The house is kept very clean and tidy. It's in a great location, close to Parliamentary triangle, Fyshwick markets, Manuka and Kingston. Rent is only $180p/week, bond is about 4 weeks rent. Bills include electricity split three ways, and internet is ($20/month). The lease expires in October, however may be renewed after this.
We've got a room available in Kingston from 11 August. It's $225 a week excluding internet and electricity. You'll have your own room (obviously) and sharing a bathroom with one other. These are the real estate photos, so please note our furnishings may not be to interior designer standards. Shoot me a message if you're interested :)
Spacious, light-filled bedroom available in a modern apartment on the Kingston/Griffith border in "Old Kingston". Plenty of space for a queen bed and other furniture, and a large built in robe. The bedroom opens out to a large balcony with views of Parliament House and Black Mountain. You will have your own bathroom incl. bath. While not an ensuite, it is right next to your bedroom. Own carbay in secure underground carpark also included. The living area is a good size and also gets the beautiful afternoon sun. Kitchen has modern facilities. The apartment is mostly furnished but a couch and tv would be appreciated (we will buy if you don't have these). There is a storage cage for extra items. Internet is set-up, and the electricity bill is very reasonable.
Your new home could be a light-filled third-floor Kingston foreshore apartment overlooking Kingston Harbour and a short walk to the Bus Depot Markets and Kingston Shopping precinct. The airconditioned apartment has almost everything you need - queen-size bed in a carpeted bedroom with built-in robes, your own bathroom, use of a washing machine/dryer, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, TV, coffee machine, dining suite, etc. All new furnishings throughout. The full-width folding glass wall on the lounge area opens all the way onto the balcony - great for entertaining. For a walk-through, see https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=4qZ6j1UEvL7 (note: different furnishings - I moved in a few months ago). The complex also has its own theatrette & roof-top BBQ/entertainment area, plus there's lots of eateries just outside.
I'm sadly leaving this great apartment in an awesome location and looking for someone to take over my share of the lease. This spacious apartment is in the Killara building which is within walking distance to cafes, bars, shops and gyms at the Kingston Foreshore, Kingston shops and Manuka. Features of the apartment: - split system air conditioner in the lounge room - modern kitchen appliances including a dishwasher - heaps of cupboards for storage - huge living area - Internet $30 per month - underground car park, visitor car park and plenty of street parking You will have a bedroom and bathroom to yourself. Your room has a built in robe, heaps of natural light, direct access to the balcony and a lovely view of the trees on the side street. The apartment will be partly furnished so you're welcome to bring any furniture you may have. There is secure underground parking and plenty of free street parking available. The current lease ends in mid Jan, so would anticipate that you'd take over my share of the lease for the next 6 months.
I live in the inner-south of Canberra, in Griffith. The apartment is centrally located - it's walking distance to the Parliamentary triangle + Manuka shops. It also includes a car spot and is mostly furnished (except for the room). For more details, please message me. It would suit a public servant, uni student, or staffer.
Sunny and modern apartment 100m to Kingston shops, and walking distance to Manuka shops, Barton, Parkes and Kingston Foreshore. Mostly furnished except the bedroom and dining table. The room is 3x3.15m with a window looking into a newly landscaped courtyard. It will fit a queen bed and other furniture comfortably. The rent is $195 pw, we split electricity and internet 1/3 each, internet is $20 per month and there are no other bills.
Spacious unfurnished bedroom with a leafy outlook and built-in robe. Shared spacious bathroom with 1 (sometimes 2) other people. Separate toilet. The rest of the house is furnished and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need. I'm looking for someone friendly and outgoing who wants to be part of a nice household where we hang out occasionally and generally get along well. Rent includes internet and fortnightly cleaner. If you're interested please get in touch asap as I'll be interviewing this weekend. Please excuse the photo of the bedroom - it's currently a packing zone!
The apartment is super close to the Kingston shops, so you have all the convenience of cafes and gyms and transport very close by. There are lots of busses connecting the area to Civic and the South. The apartment is on the top floor so it gets decent sun on the balconies on both sides through Summer and Winter, and the main living areas are well lit by natural light. It's also far away enough from main roads that there isn't much noise at night time. My housemate that is moving will be taking most of the furniture, and I'm open to either buying new stuff or letting a potential room-mate put theirs in instead.
