The house is close to Edwardes Lake Park, Ruthven and Reservoir Train Station. The bedroom available is a decent sized room with BIR. The house is a slightly older but there is plenty of space in the kitchen and lounge area. We also have a reasonable backyard and an outdoor area set up in our carport.

Internet can be set up if needed but at renters expense. All other utility bills (gas, electricity, water and rates) are covered in the rent but within fair reason of use. The only house rules are that you respect the place, keep it clean and follow the cleaning instructions as to types of chemicals that can be used on certain surfaces, no smoking or pets indoors, no big house parties. Only room tenant renters are allowed to live at the property. The house will be primarily for the room renters to use as I personally don't there. The tenants will have access to the whole house except only the other renters room. I do require access to the house as my role will be to manage the house, maintain the lawn mowing and the derelict garden to a certain extent. I must confess, the garden is in poor condition and the backyard is somewhat un-conventional but i'm not really renting the garden, mainly the house and rooms. There is already an old dog outside and cat that i come and feed daily and two sheds that i need access to as i require. There will be future work on-going to the outside as part of the renovations mid year. Other than that, i hope you find the house pleasing and comfortable and to your liking. The house is a beautiful 1950s weatherboard with polished floorboards, large open living spaces, front and back decking, and a good-sized backyard. The front room is set up as a cosy library, while the kitchen/dining/living area is open and flooded with light, and both offer comfortable places to sit with a good book and a cup of tea (or wine). There's ducted heating throughout, and a split system unit (AC) in the main living area. The house is 200-600m from three bus stops, and Merlynston train station is close by (20 min walk, 3-4 min drive). There are also cafes, shopping strips, and supermarkets in the vicinity. The room is about 3x4m, and is currently unfurnished, although I do have a bed if you need it. Unlimited internet (wifi) is included in the rent, other bills to be split equally (usually quite low). The room is down the side of the house, so is nice and quiet. There is only one bathroom, but there are two toilets in the house.

Batman station only a few minutes walk from house. Literally across the road from coburg lake reserve, one of the most epic parks on the north side. There is air conditioning and a heater in the living room. The house is cosy :) great place to live if you rely on public transport, only 10 minutes on tram to get to the excellent things sydney rd has to offer in Brunswick. House doesn't have the most modern look, but who cares haha also bottle shop 5 minutes walk away!
Hi, I'm Rachael. I live in my house with my 2 indoor dogs and my 14 mth old son. I have one room that will be available to rent. The room was painted not long after I moved in about a year and a half ago. It has direct access to the shared bathroom that was also put in when I moved in. The room is furnished but happy to unfurnished it if wanted. The rest of the house consists of another 2 bedrooms one for my little boy and the other is my room. There is a large lounge area, a kitchen/dinning area, a laundry and another toilet. There is a good size backyard and large gararge.
