3rd Bedroom is a gym. NBN wifi throughout with a spare netflix account. Garage spot. You'd have your own bathroom with nice new overhead rain shower head and/or detachable handle. There's a big oval/grassy area thing across the road and it's central to pretty much everywhere in Canberra. What else... if you don't have a bed there's currently one in the available room which has a latex matress. About that bed cover.... I thought it was the best available at the time.... if you have better tastes than me that could probably be helpful. Promise the rest of the house isn't decorated that poorly hahaha

A really well appointed loft style unit, seperate spaces for privacy. All mod cons. Grounds have tennis court, swimming pool & gym. I am used to having a boarder so understand privacy, boundaries etc. I cook a lot so food is a bonus.
Two rooms are available in a modern share house in Watson. The house is on Antill Street near Dickson and the Australian Catholic University. The house comes with internet, gas cooking and heating, air conditioning, fridge, and dishwasher. There are 1-2 undercover car parking spaces, and enough off-street parking for the housemates and guests. Both rooms are unfurnished. The larger room ($185) has a free-standing wardrobe. The smaller room ($175) has built-in cupboards. The rooms share a toilet and a bathroom. There's a garden, shed, and covered area out the back, which are great for summer parties and BBQs. There's also a washing line. During winter, monthly bills are: * $55 electricity * $35 gas * $30 internet Gas and electricity are cheaper in summer. The rental is limited to 3 adults by the landlord, so a couple would have to rent both rooms. (Occasional guests are ok.) No pets, no smokers. I'm showing the house most nights and weekends. Call or message me for an inspection!
The room on offer is main room size. It has lush carpet, a separate study area, walk through robe into the big bedroom area with views of the lake. You are the one boy full time user of the huge main bathroom which has tonnes of storage. The view in all the rooms in this fabulous unit are of the lake and Foreshore areas and are gorgeous. Living here it reall is all about the location. I have a miniature old poodle cross who is very well trained and another small trained, allergy-friendly dog can be considered. The unit has Foxtel and Netflix plus NBN and a queen size bed if you need it and space for a guest plus everything else including secure undercover parking. I also have a great cleaner who comes fortnightly to give me back my weekend, it is up to you if you want to participate in this amenity too.
I am looking for a housemate to share my lovely two bedroom apartment on the Kingston Foreshore. I'm a busy professional looking for someone in a similar situation that wants a clean, tidy and well-appointed apartment. As a free bonus, I'm complete pop culture nerd and own my very own Rick and Morty poster. Wubba Lubba dub dub kids! Below are photos of the room and the apartment in general. Advantages: - Highly desirable and new "Element" complex includes movie house for tenants to rent and roof-top BBQ/Garden if you want to party and get Rickety-Rickety-wrecked son! - Apartment is fully furnished apart from the room in question - Own bathroom with walk-in shower that you need only share with guests - 3rd-floor views with balcony that opens completely allowing seamless transition from lounge to outside - Fully equipped kitchen with integrated fridge and dishwasher - Enjoyment of vintage record collection - Awesome couch made in Milan - Beautiful Park 50m down the road - May occasionally come for a drive in my Alfa Romeo 4C - Weekly cleaner to do all those mundane things like mopping Disadvantages: - If you interfere in any way with aforementioned record collection your body will be found face down in Lake Burley Griffin - Not looking for a party animal: keep your frolicking to The Dock downstairs or the roof-top garden - I'm a neat freak that makes Sheldon Cooper look well adjusted: any grots save us both the trouble and don't apply - Touch the Alfa and bits of your body will be found strategically spread throughout Canberra - On-street parking only sorry
I live in a 3BD, 2BR apartment in the new Axiom complex in Griffith and have one room available for rent. The room is brand new and has a big sliding door to allow plenty of natural light in and give you direct access to the balcony. There are shut out blinds for privacy and mesh blinds for limiting the sunlight coming in. You will also have a separate bathroom with its own spacious shower. The bathroom doubles as a shared laundry, but this can be hidden behind doors when not in use and does not take up too much space. The lounge room is fully furnished, has reverse cycle air conditioning, and there is an outdoor gas heater on the balcony so you can be cosy outside too! We have unlimited VDSL internet with fast speeds (up to 40 Mb/sec) which is included in the rent, a Netflix subscription on the TV, an Xbox One and an Optus Sport subscription that I’m happy to share (to get your Prem fix). The complex also has a common use BBQ in the courtyard that would be great for parties! We are a 3 minute drive (or 15 minute walk) from Manuka, which has a Coles, 24/7 Maccas and a bunch of other places to go out and eat. We’re also super close to the Kingston shops with some great cafes, and a bit past that is the Kingston Foreshore. There are bus stops nearby, and plenty of on-street parking behind the building and on surrounding streets where you can leave your car during the day if you don’t drive to work.
The apartment is located on the chic Foreshore side of Kingston for a beer at the Dock but is still a quick stroll to leafy Ye Olde Kingston for brunch, coffee, lunch and probably dinner. The place would have: - Your own bathroom (that guests might use) - Your own underground car spot - A gas stove and dishwasher in the kitchen - Air-con(/heating) - A decent sized living room - The apartment is mostly furnished besides the available room (though there could be an option to buy a queen bed from the vacating flatmate) - Brodburger is pretty dang close - Anytime Fitness is closer
This older style flat is an affordable option to consider if you are looking for something in the Kingston/Manuka area. There are lots of restaurants, bars and cafes to try out if you are new to Canberra. Public transport to Civic (routes 4, 5 and 200) and even the train station is nearby. The room is medium-sized so a queen bed will fit in nicely and there is plenty of clothes storage in the inbuilt wardrobe. The toilet is shared but you will have your own ensuite and the covered parking spot is all yours. Happy to share the housework which is very minimal in any case. The lease for the property will end in November but there is the option to extend.

I room is available in a 2 room flatshare. The place is an older place, but is cosy, with a decent sized room which can fit a queen sized bed. It has a nicely sized wardrobe. There is a car port to park your car. The rent is $195 per week and you will be required to go on to the lease. The apartment is located in a great location. Very close to Campbell Shops, Civic, not far from ANU and the Australian War Memorial. It is also convenient to get around with bus stops very close by to many areas of Canberra.
