The room is equipped with a double bed with a mattress, TV, 2xbedside tables and a cupboard for storage. The common area includes a study desk and a chair with a table lamp which can either be converted into a tiny home-office or study. This desk can solely be used by yourself as I don't use it.
Large retro style house in a very quiet area. Spacious living areas and updated laundry and bathrooms (you will be sharing the main bathroom and separate toilet with 1 other), good sized yard and plenty of parking space. AC and heating in main living areas, fast unlimited internet (not NBN however!). There's a walk in pantry plus lots of other cupboard and storage space throughout the house. The available bedroom is 3.4m x 2.8m with a large window. We are keeping the fourth and smallest bedroom as a spare room for extra clothes storage - we currently have a coat rack in there and you are welcome to add to this. Our house rules are pretty basic; don't let the cat out or any "no-voters" in. We don't mind anyone having company over but we are not a party house, we both work a lot and one of us studies so appreciate a relaxing home environment. If you are studying or working in Magill, in the hills, or in the city (or somewhere in between), then I highly suggest that you keep reading. I have just moved into this excellently located house in Magill, and I am looking for someone (or two) to join me. If you are a student at Unisa, this is a brilliant location. Unisa Magill campus is literally at the end of the street. A five minute walk from the front door gets you to your lecture, making getting to classes on time super easy. The B10 bus into the city stops just around the corner, making transit into the city easy for anyone who works or studies in the city, and if you want to get into the hills, you can get on to Norton Summit Road without seeing a single traffic light. The there is a backyard, with a vegetable garden which will soon be getting planted for winter, so if there is something you like, place your orders. Figs, plums and grapes are also for the taking, though you may have to hang around for a bit, as they are just finishing up. There is also a large undercover entertaining area, and a garage/workshop if you need to store things or if you're feeling creative. The kitchen and living area are both quite large, plenty of room for living in. The front yard has sadly been neglected prior to me recently moving in, but this will be changing. I will be landscaping it in the next few weeks. I intend to make this a very nice place to come home to in fairly short order. Internet and bills will be included in the price. We are two sisters looking for a third female to share our house in Hectorville. We are 23 & 25, so are looking for someone between 20 & 30. Your room is approximately 3.8m x 2.4m and is unfurnished (although we could organise to furnish it with basic furniture if needed). It is right by the kitchen, so ideally you would be an early riser or a good sleeper, as we are both up and about between 6 and 7 in the morning. We have ducted airconditioning. Bills would be split evenly & we are looking at getting wifi, which would also be split. We would ask you to pay a 6 week bond, as we have done. About the area: We are less than 5 minutes from both the Rostrevor Romeo’s Foodland and the Firle Shopping Centre. Public transport within 30 m of front door goes to Paradise Interchange and the trip to the City is 35 min or 20-25 min by car. There are two living areas and a large open space family room and dinning area off the kitchen. Happy to rearrange space to suit prospective housemates that have furniture. Internet included in rent.
