My current housemates have moved/are moving home, so both rooms are up for grabs. Female applicants only, no couples. You'd be sharing with me (30, full-time worker, non-smoker), and whoever ends up in the other room. Both bedrooms have a ceiling fan, large built-in wardrobe, and are furnished with a queen size bed and bedside table. The house is fully furnished and has a total of three bedrooms. There's a large living area with loungeroom flowing into the dining room, and the kitchen opens onto a huge deck. In the backyard, you'll find our boy, Wiley, who is an outside-only pet. He's a foster, and may find his forever home, at which point we'll get another foster, so you've gotta love dogs. The laundry is under the house - washer only, no dryer. There is plenty of free street parking in the area. Ideal location on the edge of Stones Corner and Woolloongabba, across from Buranda bus and train stations. Only 5mins by bus to UQ and South Bank, or 10mins to Griffith and the CBD. Great access to bikeways! Cafés, bars, and supermarkets are within walking distance and there's Hanlon Park just down the road. The smaller room is at the front of the house, so there's a bit of traffic noise from the street, but it's minimal outside rush hour. $175 and $190 includes rent, internet, gas, electricity. We pay $60 every three months for yard maintenance (so $20 per housemate), and we each chuck $5 per month into a kitty for shared items for the house, such as dishwashing liquid and sponges, hand wash, bug spray, toilet cleaner, paper towel, aluminium foil, stuff like that.
