Hi, I'm a young, professional, adventurous female looking for room for rent in Launceston ASAP. I've recently moved to the area for a new job, and I would like to find a place with other young professionals within 30 minutes walking distance of the CBD with a decent heating system and sunlight. I'm happy to negotiate rent. I'm an easy going caver, hiker and climber, who enjoys occasionally cooking with housemates and chilling. If you're interested in teaming up or have a room free, contact me
My name is Vanessa, and I have just accepted a job as an Occupational Therapist at the hospital. I would be moving over from Melbourne within the next couple of weeks and therefore need to find a new home! I am a very cheery, friendly 24 year old. I am social and love to chat but also like my own time. Im neat and clean and a pretty easy going person to live with.
Hi there. I am doing masters at the AMC. I am looking for accommodation preferably somewhere near East Launceston. I have a great love for books and music and that i how i like to spend most of my free times. I do play guitar occasionally trying to explore and make some music. Always up for a chat anytime though. Please contact me if you are interested in teaming up or if you have a room free. Need a off-street parking.
The property is located nearby the LGH and is about a 10 walk into the Launceston CBD. I'm probably a 2-5 min walk (tops) to taxi ramps/public transport and local cafes. The house is a cute little cottage which would be perfect for a uni student/worker wanting to be central to town and in the hub of things. The house is furnished with an inbuilt fireplace and has a decent sized courtyard (perfect for entertaining...in the warmer months). Important info: I do have a dog, so it's crucial that if you're interested in moving in you MUST like animals (she's indoor/outdoor). Due to the smaller nature of the house, I won't be accepting anymore animals (sorry, I love them, but there's no room). The room itself isn't currently fully furnished. But, the rest of the house is and of course you're more than welcome to use all kitchen and cooking utensils. So, basically you'll just need a bed and a wardrobe... PS. There is no washing machine. I feel like you guys need to know that. I normally hand wash or take it to the local laundry-mat. Which, is about a 5 minute drive (if there's traffic, and it's Launceston...so no traffic). Rules: (Lame, I know...but gotta have em') I work full-time, basically 6-days a week and generally have to go to bed fairly early, so I would ask that you keep it down (no parties...sorry...I hate myself for saying this #adultlyf) . The house is fairly small and I like things tidy, so it's important that you clean up after yourself and are willing to do your share of housework. No drugs. I won't tolerate them under any circumstances. No smoking. Rent is weekly, and includes unlimited internet and water. Electricity is crazy expensive and would need to be halved. Also, if you are successful you would need to fill out the appropriate forms with the real estate.
Tidy, low-maintenance 2 bedroom flat right perfect for a corporate couple/uni students right in the heart of Launceston's CBD. White goods included. Includes one off-street car spot. Great value at $280 per week (excludes power and internet). Check it at; http://www.key2.com.au/3290866/
Great location to town, and really convenient to walk to many places. Well presented house with modern kitchen and bathroom. The room is cosy with fresh carpet and a heat pump, located on the second level, overlooking the garden. It can be furnished or not depending on your needs.
Well, I am moving from Melbourne to Launceston because I am starting a postgrad course in AMC Newnham (Early - mid July), and will work as a part-time freelance photographer when free. Most people find me to be a pretty easy going and considerate person. I am not good at cooking but like to keep the kitchen clean after each use. Like exercises, reading and enjoy a few glasses of wine on good weekend nights. Looking to share a house with someone who is also considerate, mature and considerable clean. Prefer to rent at least a year if the house and housemate(s) suit. Need carpark or off-street parking.
Hey, I'm looking for accommodation for the next 4-6 months. I'm not picky as to what type. I'm currently waitressing. I moved to Launceston in January and my lease is almost up so I'm looking for a new place to live and new people to meet! I'm easy going and love a laugh. I'm pretty flexible in terms of living situation and I don't have any pets. I am clean and tidy and respectful of your space. Would love to hear from you if you've got a spare room!
Hi there, I'm a PhD student starting in Deakin Uni studying zoology. I've lived on five continents and haven't had any complaints from housemates, human, feathered or furred, to date. I enjoy a glass of vino with a book in the evening after study/work; love going to a film or the theatre. I'm quite neat and more than happy to do my fair share of tidying around the house. I have a small bird as a buddy so hopefully potential housemates would be open to another mini member of the family. - Would be looking to start the lease in September for four months
I've just moved to Tasmania and am currently searching for a full time job and long term accomodation for myself and my 5 year old desexed mastiff x staffy - Sasha, she is a sweet dog that gets along with all other animals. Please message me if you have something suitable for us!
