Current lease ends in March 2019, looking for a place to move in immediately after that > full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
I will be moving from Wollongong to CBR to study a master of science communication outreach at ANU in 2019 and am looking for a place near the university to reside next year. Beside study and part-time work commitments I enjoy being outside and staying physically active.
Hey hey! My name is Alex (24), I'm moving to Canberra from Melbourne to start a full time govt job in January. My friend from uni, Hannah (25), is also moving for a full time govt job. We're looking for two rooms in a share house, or some people to buddy up with to apply for houses with. We've both lived in share houses for the past six years and are super neat and considerate. We're always up for a chat or a wine, but are by no means party animals. In our spare time we like to go for hikes, watch live music, go out for brunch, all that jazz. We're looking for a share house with some other young professionals. Would love to hear from you :)
A large and sunny master bedroom for rent in Campbell, available at the end of January. Easily fits a queen bed, drawers and a desk, with a built-in wardrobe. We're close to the lake. It's a 5-min walk from Constitution Ave buses, 10-min bike ride to Civic, 15 to 20-minute bike ride into Parliamentary Triangle/Barton and 15-min bike ride to ANU. The house has a dishwasher and central heating/AC. There is also an off-street carport available.
This apartment is an easy bike ride around the lake to uni or alternatively there's a bus stop to the city (10 minutes) right outside the apartment. It's also opposite the Campbell shops which has an IGA, bakery and cafe which is really nice. The flat is small but enough space for 2 people. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated recently. The apartment comes with a laundry machine and dryer, and we have a TV, 2 sofas and coffee table. You would get the largest bedroom which comes with a built in wardrobe and I can also provide some shelves and bedside table if you want it. Bills are not included in the rent but our last winter electricity bill was $223 (3 months) which is pretty cheap for Canberra. Internet is $60 a month and as it's NBN can be a little slow sometimes but we can still stream TV shows and it's good for all studying uses. Please message if you are interested. We would be interested in meeting people first (you can also see the flat) - Bonnie will be away from the end of December until February but I am happy to meet people until the first week of January. We are flexible on the move in date as long as it is either between the 1st-8th January or after the 1st of February. Thanks!
New centrally located apartment - across the road from the lake, 7 minute drive to the airport and a 15 minute walk to the city. The apartment is currently furnished except for your bedroom and bathroom though more additions to the shared areas are more than welcome. Building has stunning rooftop gardens and a social room available for use. Multiple coffee shops are located at the base of our building and surrounding buildings. Internet is available for $40/month and bills not included in rent. Looking for someone who also works full time or post grad student who is also working part time to re sign my lease with as my current housemate is moving out. Lease starts on 19 January 2019 though the room is available from the 11th of January so I am flexible with move in date.

I work full time as a lawyer. I'm vegetarian and I like to cook, swim, try out random classes at the gym, ride my bicycle and go hiking. I also love to watch live sports games and musicals. I always clean up after myself and have experience living with a wide range of different people (one time I lived with 11 other people in an apartment for six months). Pretty chilled out, always happy to chat, hang out or cook dinner together, but also value individual space and privacy.

Hi! I am originally from Melbourne and am one of the many grads flooding into Canberra to start full-time work in 2019. I am a coffee, cheese and pizza enthusiast. I also love baking and am happy to provide bake goods to future housemates. I am very much housetrained and know how important it is to be neat, clean and respectful of people's privacy. I am looking for some likeminded people who enjoy both time alone and a good chat over wine and dinner.
Hello, I am a working professional moving to Canberra for a new job in the public sector. As a friendly, clean, respectable and helpful father of 2 who also live in Canberra, I hope to find accommodation alone or with just one other to share. I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, classical music, wine tasting and walks.
I work full time in the public service. I have lived in share houses since I was 18. I love the outdoors and go camping most weekends where I can. I play sport and enjoy hanging out with friends or sitting back listening to one of my records. I am clean, respect personal areas and love the community aspect to share houses.
I'm a 21 year old Arts graduate who studied linguistics and politics/international studies at the University of Melbourne. I have accepted a graduate position at the Department of Finance for 2019 and that required me to move to Canberra. I'm a musician and specifically a singer, so I love to play music. I also enjoy playing soccer (so also if you know any teams in Canberra hmu). I'm a fairly social person so I love getting to know new people, and going out to interesting places. Looking for a room in a share house from mid Jan 2019 onwards!
I am an international student at ANU studying Master of Engineering in Mechatronics. I am punctual, clean and well organised and respect other's privacy. In my spare time, I love to cook, read and write.

Hi! I'm Ellen, I'm moving back to Canberra to work as a science writer and communicator. I'm a tidy, laidback housemate who respects others' personal space, looking to live with like-minded, friendly people. I enjoy brunch, swimming, bushwalking, and chilling with a cuppa to watch Netflix.
Young professional couple from Brisbane who have lived in Canberra for 12 months. We’re pretty easy going and like to keep active and socialise. Looking for some like minded housemates :)
Hey guys ! Yet another APS grad moving down to the capital next year to start FT employment in February. Hoping to move down from Sydney in January after I finish visiting some of my international buddies in Italy & Germany :) Will be working FT Monday through Friday and spending most evenings after work in the gym or going for a run; weekly downtime would include copious amounts of Netflix binges, books and of course - my fair share of chores. Like to spend my weekends out and about fishing, hiking or sightseeing a state that I've never been to before, and will most likely spend every 4th or so weekend back up in Sydney - so you can get the house to yourself every now and again for whole weekends at a time ! *Unless you'd like to tag along and explore with me; always enjoy good company and a chat ! I'm a super clean, tidy, and easy going/considerate person that lives a fairly active lifestyle. Looking for another person to team-up with to get a place, or move into an already established house with a spare room. The Ideal roommates/housemates would be friendly and social people, but that similarly respect the alone time we all need every now and again. Other than the dates where I will be heading overseas this summer in December, I can head down to Canberra to inspect properties with those of you who would like to team up. ** The heavy partying days are behind me, but I'm always down for a few drinks, a laugh and the odd social event.
I am clean and tidy at home. I am new to Canberra, relocating to commence a new role in the public sector on 7th January 2019 so looking for accomodation from 5th January 2019 for six months initially. I enjoy the company of other people as well as some down one on one time. I also like a glass of wine every now and again as well as yoga, meditation, natural therapies and walking.
Originally from Nepal and lived in Melbourne for 8 years before moving to Canberra for studies. I'm a fun and outgoing person who likes conversations mild to wild, maybe not too wild. I'm curious about life and the world so I read quite a bit and can talk about most things. However I do keep to myself mostly, like a decent clean place and am respectful of others. I do like to cook at times and enjoy a good red wine or a chilled beer and whoever I'm sharing the place with - will get to sample my infamous Himalayan dumplings or momos as they are lovingly called.
Hey there, I am a 23 year old from Brisbane who is moving to Canberra in January to start a graduate Job. I like to think that I'm an easy-going guy - I love a chat, but I can also give you plenty of space if that's what you're after. I am tidy, respectful, and most importantly, I am punctual with my rent payments. I am pretty flexible on the rent period and the move date - so long as it's around mid-early January.
