I am moving to Canberra for work. Originally from Country Victoria. I have had vast experience living in share houses and know howto show respect
Hey! I'm moving to Canberra from Brisbane for work as a consultant. I'm an always doing something kinda guy, so I really dig going out to the mountains or parks, checking out the city I live in and am really sociable. I don't smoke and I'm not the kind of person to get smashed on drinks every night of the week. I more just chill drink with mates every now and then. I'm a really clean-oriented person so I'd like housemates that are happy to help keep the common areas neat.
Hello, I'm moving to Canberra from Sydney for a work contract. I have previously shared accomodation in Sydney and overseas. I'm looking to move in or share with someone respectful and peaceful by nature. You can find me on instagram below. I would like to move in by 30th of September. I am looking for a place around or nearby Barton ACT 2600. Please call or text me if you think we're a fit or have any availability.
Hey! We're a couple moving down to Canberra in Jan/Feb 2019 for work/study. Elena is starting her PhD at ANU, and Oskar is starting work at the ATO. We're both very flexible people - we appreciate the need for private bedroom space, but will happily chill in the living space with other housemates after work and on weekends. Around the house we're both very low maintenance, the sort of people who'll make the effort to wash up the dishes in the evening so we don't have to deal with it in the morning. In her spare time, Elena loves reading, drinking tea, and playing hockey. Oskar plays a lot of ultimate frisbee, listens to music, and enjoys being out-and-about. We're both casual trumpet players, though we only practice once or twice a week so don't worry about the noise! We're looking for 1-3 people to share a house with somewhere within 7km or so (cycling distance) of ANU. We don't have any strong preferences in housemates, as long as they're roughly 18-30yrs old, don't smoke inside the house, and are socially accepting people. We hope to hear from you soon :)
I'm a recent graduate from Adelaide who has recently moved to Canberra to start a job with the APS. I love languages (I speak Dutch and Japanese), music, and indoor plants. In my spare time, you'll find me reading, gardening, watching Netflix, or tending to my love of indoor plants. I enjoy my own space and respect others, but am also impartial to a glass of wine and a cheese board at the end of the day. I've lived in share houses before, so I get how it all works. Let me know if you think I'd be a good fit! Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hello! I am a master student doing stats at ANU currently on my final year. I am from Indonesia and have been living in Canberra for a year now and looking for a new environment on eastern side of the ANU campus. Will relocate in the beginning of 2019. Pretty relaxed, scrupolous in terms of hygiene, sometimes really quiet, and adore cat so much (if you pet one it is a plus!) I am comfortable with someone who respect privacy, responsible in cleaning their own dishes, not really loud, if they smoke they smoke outside the house, and socially open (although I am quite introverted by myself).
G'day, I'm James! I'm originally from Adelaide, but moved to Canberra mid last year. I work full-time as an engineer, but I also study part time as a postgrad at the ANU. I'm pretty sociable and will happily have a chat or a couple drinks after work if thats your speed; otherwise I more than willing to give you your space and keep a low footprint at home. Between work, gym, uni and my partner I keep pretty busy so I like to keep my space at home tidy and try not to be a burden on anyone else. Feel free to get in contact and have a chat, I'm pretty easy going.
> full-time phd student > friendly and easy-going > respect others' privacy > have a car (so that my roommate and I can go out and have fun on holidays)
Housetrained! ( good cook, cleaner, gardener). Considerate, flexible and socially adaptable with a good sense of humour. Moving to Canberra from the Northern Rivers NSW to work at Yarralumla Nursery. Major interests art/nature/ environment. Bookaholic.
Cute little cottage in Campbell. Has amazing natural light and views across the city. The living room is warm and cosy and the semi open plan living makes it a sociable place to live. We have air conditioning for the summer in the main living space and the bedrooms are on the shady side of the house so keep pretty cool. large backyard and little balcony will be great for summer. It is close to the city with only a short walk to rapid bus routes or a 10 min cycle. The lease for the place is up in january and I think my other housemates are looking at move out (why I have put 2 month maximum) but there may be the opportunity to continue the lease with my other current flatmate/s or take over the lease with other people.
BEDROOM + ENSUITE + PRIME LOCATION A bedroom with ensuite has become available in Campbell, ACT. The room is a double, currently fitting a double bed, a single arm chair, and some bookshelves. The room also has a big in-built wardrobe, and an ensuite. The apartment itself is very new, us being the first tenants to have lived in it. This means all kitchen appliances are very new! There is also two car spaces, one each in the garage, and a storage cage. The apartment complex itself has some very useful communal areas, including a dining room that can be booked out for big occasions, a little library area and a rooftop which will become much more useful in the summer months! The location is also very convenient. It's right near Lake Burley Griffin, about a 5 minute Uber from the city centre, Braddon, etc and also has its own little shopping area.
Full time trade and working in Hopso on Friday and Saturday night. Vegetarian that likes to cook, easy going happy to have a chat but also value's privacy and other people's space. I am rarely at home due to sporting commitments Clean and tidy :)
Born in Melbourne, studied in Western Australia, and working in Queensland. My next venture is a PhD in Canberra at ANU. I will be arriving in Canberra around the start of October. If you have somewhere for me to stay i'm keen for a chat.
I am a bubbly woman who is usually very busy. I am originally from Ecuador, I've been living here for about 4 years. I study engineering currently in my final year while working part-time. I am always keen to go for a coffee, stroll or have a cup of tea at home. I am also very organized and tidy, hate disordered so I'll contribute with cleaning on a regular basis. I ain't-a party person, won't be loud or bring people over.
I'm an Honours chemistry student at ANU who has a graduate job lined up from mid-2019 onward. I'm very friendly, clean and easygoing. I like the outdoors and staying fit, and spending time with friends. I travel when I can, and love trying new things. As a housemate, I'm independent, respectful and reliable. My current contract ends in November but I can move in October.
Hello, I am a working professional moving to Canberra for a new job in the public sector. As a friendly, clean, respectable and helpful father of 2 who also live in Canberra, I hope to find accommodation alone or with just one other to share. I enjoy visiting art galleries, museums, classical music, wine tasting and walks.

Hey there! We're Georgie and Tom :-) We are looking to start a share house. We have plans to get a dog. We are vegetarian but not super militant. We love to cook. Tom is into jiu jitsu, cycling and making excellent music playlists. Georgie is into film, design, doggos and even better music playlists. We both work full-time (grad program and for a greens polly). We have kitchen doodads, arm chairs, other various furniture and appliances, nick nacks and, most importantly, paddy whacks. Fully house-trained.
I'm an international student coming to ANU for my post-graduation. I'm a punctual, clean and well organised person. I respect others privacy. Also I'm a vegetarian and I don't drink or smoke. That's pretty much about me.
Looking for a chill, tidy and relaxed house in North Canberra. I’m respectful, and easygoing. I pitch in with chores and will happily share a drink or two or a chat with the housemates, though I respect other people’s space too! I sometimes go out of town on weekends to visit family and I work fulltime for the government :)
Hi, I'm a 29 year old hospitality professional. I've lived in Canberra most of my life and I manage and run a cafe in the heart of Manuka. I'm an easy going guy, I'm social, clean, tidy and organised. I tend to live reasonably quiet but thrive in the social aspects of my work. I'm passionate about the service industry and personal development. My hobbies include food & beverage, gaming, exercise and sport. I think i would make a great housemate because I will respect personal space, but will also be available for good chat. I only drink when it is appropriate and i don't smoke. I pride myself on being a fair person and I have lived in many share houses.
Hello, I'm Jemma! I'm a happy, bubbly and easy-going person who is temporarily moving to Canberra for a paid internship. I'm temporarily leaving my life in Perth, where I am doing a PhD in Psychology, to take on this full-time position in a Gov department. I'm clean, respectful and easy-going. I would really like to get along with my housemate/s - but I will also respect your privacy and space. I enjoy a good glass of wine, I love my food, and keeping fit. Looking for a chilled environment to come home to after work. Please get in contact if you think I'm a fit!
Hey guys (and girls). I'm a 26 year old male currently working in the public service. I have been living in sharehouses from the age of 19, so I'm well accustomed to living with others, paying bills on time and cleaning up after myself - I also have no issue with cleaning a bathroom or mowing the lawn on a 40 degree day! I'm well beyond my days as a partier but still enjoy a social beer or a bbq with housemates. I'm pretty quiet during the week and out and about or riding my motorcycle on weekends. As I own a bike storage or garage space would be great! Look forward to hearing from you!
I’m an honest, reliable, clean and tidy professional. Pretty relaxed but do prefer a clean home and to share with others who like the common shared spaces to be kept tidy. I’m friendly and quite happy to share a meal or a glass of wine and have a chat on occasion but I do like my own space. I’ve shared with 2 girls in their early 20s the past 2 years; it’s been fun to hang out and it’s worked because we respect each other’s privacy and individuality. I am open to sharing with people of any age if they are mature, respectful, trust-worthy, self-aware with a positive, can do, friendly attitude. Art, hiking, cycling, Pilates, Netflix, great food, coffee and wine, board games, authenticity and honesty are all up there as things I enjoy and value. Despite this site requiring preferred suburbs to be listed I’m open to considering anywhere in ACT. ** I’m flexible with length of time to house share - between 3-7 months starting mid October (I’ll be housesitting from May 2019)
Hey there, my name is Rach and I live in Adelaide but I'm moving to Canberra in 2019 to work as a graduate in the APS. I'm looking for flatmates who are easy going, friendly, and enjoy a wine or two. I'm looking for flatmates who want to be friends, and spend the odd day or night together watching netflix/going for walks/watching the footy or having a BBQ. That being said, I'm also respectful of time to ourselves, and will need a bit of this to catch up on work and study, and go home to Adelaide every now and then. What can I bring to the table? Nice wine glasses, cheese knives and platters, coffee cups, and decent cooking skills. What can you bring? Hopefully a table! I'm good to keep things clean and tidy, pull my weight and pay my bills on time. In my spare time I like to be social, play with my dog Charlie (unfortunately he's not coming with me), scout out good coffee and good wineries. Coming from South Australia, I'm into things like supporting small wineries, local producers and farmers markets. It also means I'm used to being able to get anywhere in 20 minutes, so I'm looking for places in areas close to my work in Barton. If you think we'd get along, and you've got a room free around January/February 2019, please get in touch!
Hey! My name is Taylor. I work full-time for Defence and moved to Canberra for my work. I am social and enjoy making friends, so I would prefer to be friends with my roommate(s) and am down for household meals etc. though I do value my down time. I work Monday - Friday and in the afternoons I enjoy listening to music, cruising the interwebs, going for a run/walk and am more than happy for a chat. On weekends I enjoy hikes, grabbing coffee or finding random activities around Canberra. My ideal household is a laid-back environment mixed in with some light banter. I'm also clean and tidy and will contribute to household chores. As they say: Teamwork makes the dreamwork. Both Male and Female roommates are welcomed. Look forward to meeting you!
Hi, I’m moving to Canberra from Adelaide to start a new job as a research scientist. I enjoy playing sports (especially tennis) and being out in nature. I’m friendly, respectful, and tidy.
My room will be available for a short-term stay from 13 November-11 January in this lovely share house. It's $190 a week inclusive of all utilities and NBN internet. It will come furnished so no need to worry about moving your things in! You will be sharing the house with one other lovely two and potentially 1-2 others. Whilst there is no air-conditioning, the house stays naturally cools on its own during the summer and there is an abundance of natural sunlight.
I'm a current honours student at ANU studying Psychology and working part time in functions. I'm open to pretty much any housing situation. In my spare time I enjoy reading, the gym and the odd video game.
