Easy going guy into fitness, Reading, movies and more. I enjoy meeting new people, enjoy working out and always happy to have a workout partner! I enjoy anime and cartoona as well as tv series online and movies, loving marvel and dc shows these days!
I'm a 27 year old public servant moving back to Canberra from Melbourne. I'm a friendly guy who is conscious of personal space but also up for hanging out or grabbing a beer. I like to catch up with friends on weekends, but otherwise my weeks are usually fairly quiet.
I'm an economist for a consulting firm in Canberra. I grew up in Adelaide - I started working in Canberra last year, then spent some time off due to illness. I'm moving back to the capital now. I play a bit of guitar (into headphones!) and otherwise love a good cup of coffee, a bit of political banter, or a drink at the end of the week.
A large and sunny master bedroom for short term rent in Campbell (until mid/end July). Easily fits a queen bed, drawers and a desk, with a built-in wardrobe. Our Campbell mansion is in a prime location; walking/cycling distance to civic, a 5 minute walk to Lake Burley Griffin, and a 10 minute walk to the bottom of Mt Ainsley. There is off-street parking available, and there is access to public transport. Most of us cycle to work. The house is mostly furnished - we would love it if you had a spare fridge, and there is space downstairs next to the garage for storage if need be. The room can be furnished (including a double bed, chest of drawers, 2 clothes racks, and a very long desk) or unfurnished. You would be sharing a bathroom. Rent is $165 / week, and the bond is $480. Bills and internet are not included in the price of rent. We are a social household, and are looking for someone who will get involved and not be a hermit. We like going on lots of adventures together - including but not limited to - hiking, beaching, and out for drinks together. We also often have housemate dinners on Sunday nights :). We like to have people over every now and then so you will need to be someone who likes meeting new people. We are looking for someone to move in from June 17th. Possibility to move in earlier if needed if you don't mind sleeping on a bed in the lounge area.
The house is located in the highly desirable suburb of Campbell, sought after for its conveience to Civic, Braddon and Kingston. You are a short stroll from the new and upcoming Campbell 5 precint, with all the latest bars and brunching places. The house is within walking distance to the lake and Civic. It has a big kitchen, living area and dining room - all furnished - but we are open to more furnishings (especially a tv). There is duted gas heating to all rooms to keep you toasty in winter, and an A/C in the living room to keep you cool in summer. There is decking and gardens front and back. The room is a large ensuited room bathing in natural light. You would have two big windows overlooking the backyard, and views of mount ainslie. There is plenty of storage with a built in cupboard/shelves and wardrobe. It also comes with an enuite which has been newly updated!

I am 21 year old Electrical Engineer and will be joining ANU's masters of energy change program in Feb 2018. I am currently working in a company which deals with EPC of solar power projects. I am a foodie and I love to cook! I love to eat out as well :p I love to live in a clean and tidy space. I am a non- smoker
Hey, my name's Daniel! I'm a 2015 psychology graduate currently working full-time in the public service. I'm looking for a place close to the city, or somewhere near a bus stop. I've got furniture for my room, but can also offer an iron and ironing board, digital piano, and a chest freezer. The place I'm looking for would ideally have an ensuite, covered parking space, dishwasher, washing machine, and a bedroom with enough space for a queen bed and large desk. I am looking to rent for a period of 6-12+ months, with a fairly flexible move in date. My ideal housemate/s would be friendly, sociable (but also understanding of personal space), tidy, and of either gender. I believe it's important to have a coffee/beer/dinner every now and then so we wouldn't be complete strangers to each other, but I completely understand if you want your space! Let me know if you're looking for a housemate and I'd be more than happy to have a chat!
Hi, I'm Will I work full time in tech support In my other time I do weird creative shit I run an internet electronic music stream every Tuesday night. Usually remotely but sometimes I host electronic musicians and DJs in the living room 👀 I also DJ occasionally and produce electronic music. I'm easy going socially and clean. I also have respect for boundaries in a share house. I've been doing this for a couple years now. Looking for someone who is also into weird creative shit (or at least tolerates it) , is clean, pays rent on time and is easy going socially. In my ideal home, everyone can be themselves and feel at home, there's a strong internet connection and it's CLEAN. Bonus points for no TV (I hate tv). My current room currently has hanging pics of HP Baxxter in one of those awful live love laugh frames, and I rock flaming skull bedsheets. Fight me IRL 👊 Looking for someone who would vibe 💀 🔥 I'm open to coming into an existing place or setting out to find a new one with you :) hmu
My name is Rachel, and I'm looking for a private room in a house or flat in Canberra( will move to Canberra from Melbourne and study in ANU by the end of June). I'm quiet, clean, easygoing and have lots of hobbies such as photography, folk and post rock music. Also, I'll enjoy having dinner or chatting with roommates, like friends. I respect other people's privacy as well. Hope to find a place that close to ANU (0-5km) and nice roomies.
Current post-grad student at ANU and pretty much work full time as well. Looking to move out of student sharehouse hell by early/mid June as my current contract ends at the beginning of July and would rather just leave this place. This means I'm a fastidious cleaner after living with students who don't know how to use a vacuum or the concept of wiping down a bench after preparing food (definitely also not a clean freak just saying I like a clean environment and will pitch in). Mostly keep to myself but always up for a chat or the occasional meal or drink with housemates. Working and studying keeps me pretty busy but I like to go out and explore Canberra when I've got the time. When I'm not studying/procrastinating at home I'm usually reading or listening to something. Interested in joining an existing house or finding somewhere new with other people looking for a place. Drop me a line if you think you could live with me!
Hi there, I'm a 24 year-old young professional who works full-time in Canberra. I originally grew up in Melbourne and moved to Canberra in 2011 to study at ANU. I've been living in an apartment in Reid until now but unfortunately the owner is selling the property. I generally like keeping to myself, but also enjoy occasional after work drinks and the odd get together with friends.
A fun and respectful Asian guy Just moved from Melbourne and I'll be working full-time at Kokomo's. Full-time chef and Part-time Snowboard racer. Clean, tidy and organised but not crazy. Will have to be in Canberra for at least 2 years. And I'll need a parking spot. I also have Netflix :p
I'm joining ANU as a Post-Grad student for the Semester 2. I'm great to talk to, friendly and responsible hence there won't be any dues on rents, bills, etc. Like to keep the place I live tidy and would expect a roommate to be the same as well. My favorite pass time would be to watch movies or TV shows that are trending. Love to shop around and get a few drinks once in a while. I'm a dog-lover and love to babysit them for friends or family. Can cook pretty well and a food-lover. So I'm pretty sure I could be the best roommate you can get :) I'm looking for a place close to ANU which would not take me more than 15 mins on commute. Preferable roommates are students and non-smokers. Smoking outside the premise is fine:)
I am a PhD student at ANU and looking a studio/Granny/single/double bedroom for my and my small family (my wife and our one-year-old kid). Ram
Hello! I have just returned from 18 months living in London to the bright lights of the Nation's Capital . I am a social person, always up for a wine and a Netflix binge, or a walk around the lake. I tidy up after myself and truly believe who ever invented that sponge on a stick that dispenses dish-washing liquid is an utter genius. Pretty much, I'm normal! And looking for a place to live happily ever after (or for the next 6-12 months).
I am a early 30s visiting research fellow at ANU and looking for an apartment (whole property/share) near ANU. My stay is quite flexible from 6 to 12 months. I would like to describe myself a socialising people who would like to become friends with any roommates immediately. I do work 9 to 5 a day and after that I would like to share some moments with my roommates and love to go for a dinner, movie, cafe and some weekend drink if it suits everyone. I don't cook a lot (I decide to make myself more relaxed this year) so no need to worry about "smoky and fire alarm threat" as well. My English is not quite good as a native speaker but I am quite confident that I could use some "Chinglish" to amuse everyone. Overall I would say I am an easy-going person and love to share every joyful moment.
Hey there! I am Can Metan. I'll start my PhD in Computer Science soon and I'm looking for a place to call home. I am a very clean and trust-worthy guy. I quite enjoy cooking healthy meals and I'm quite sociable in general. While we can share a glass of wine every now and then, I don't drink every week and I certainly don't smoke. I will be working a lot this year (likely to get a job besides PhD) and I would love to have a roomie that can pull his / her own weight. Looking forward to hear from you!
I'm full time PhD student at CSU, Canberra researching in the area of Social Information Seeking and Digital Humanities. Looking for a place nearby my work location. I am clean, social but like my privacy and respect others. I have no other issue except smoking. I work full time and can easily get along with people. I would like to either team up or move into an existing shared fully furnished accommodation. I love to watch movies and network socially. I am a self-confessed researcher so I will prefer a separate room in shared house because I often work late night in quite.
I am a British 22 year old female who has been living in Canberra for 3 years! I am tidy and respectful of people's personal space.Although I do enjoy a glass of wine and a chatter now and again. When I move into a place I hope to build friendships with the people I live with :) I am currently working in hospitality and retail.
