These are NOT shared rooms. Definitely not for couples. All bills included. They only thing you'll need to bring with you is linen and your personal items. Everything else is here. We're all active (boys/girls), outgoing and sporty people. We kayak, SUP, run, swim and play all sorts of random sports. You'll quite often find us with a beer and pizza on the lounge having a beer and watching a movie. We're looking for a similar person to come and join in the fun. The room is furnished with queen 4 poster bed (the room is same as pic, furniture is very different(, desk, chair, bedside table and lamp. Also has a huge (4.5m wide) cupboard space. You probably wont need more storage. House itself is of a good standard, has an open fire place, big back and front yards, double lock up garage (not for cars, sporting goods storage only), Included in the price of the room is all bills which is a fortnightly cleaner, electricity, water, netflix, fire wood (did I mention we have a fire place?) We have kayaks, stand up paddle board, table tennis,PS4/XBOX one/Wii for mario cart, halo, COD, board games a plenty, darts, bar fridge and an Espresso machine. Basically all the necessities. You wont need to bring anything. It's a very good house, located about 300m from the water on Iron Cove Bay (it's the next suburb over from Drummoyne). nicely furnished with random bits of colour everywhere. It's fully furnished. Has everything that's needed to live rather comfortably... On street parking is available and is somewhat plentiful. NO ONSITE PARKING. We have dogs :) their names are Busta and Prini, both quite young and active. So if you're not a dog person you can stop reading here! Second to that if you're into night clubbing/partying to all hours on a regular basis, please also stop reading here. Third time lucky, if you're a smoker we're probably not keen (there is absolutely no smoking on premises due to health issue of a resident of the house). It is a home and we all like to keep things reasonably tame, respectful and pleasant. Not to say we live like nuns though... Minutes from the bay run, 300m to bus stop and buses direct to the City/Leichardt/University Sydney. We have a cleaner (she's lovely) and gardener (me) so there is not really a lot of maintenance anyone needs to do which is great for us folk that hate doing that stuff. FAQ's Can I stay short term? YES! However, the shortest I will allow is 12 weeks. Can I bring my dog/cat? No sorry, we already have enough pets. Can my girlfriend/boyfriend or other person share the room with me? No sorry. There's already enough people in the house. The odd sleepover is ok, we just don't want a couple to be living in the house. Can I park my car in the garage if I pay extra? No. Possibly a motorbike. Please shoot me a message or give me a call and we can go from there.
Bright, welcoming, fully furnished 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment. Fully carpeted with vinyl floor in kitchen. Stunning water views from the balcony - see the sun rise in the East and watch the twinkling lights at night. Nice district, leafy views from bedroom. Spacious lounge and dining with comfortable, quality furnishings and a large TV with Optus Fetch and Netflix. Older style kitchen is spacious and fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a storm. No dishwasher but you can wash your dishes with a beautiful bay view! There is a fridge however I will supply a small fridge which will be fully yours. There is a laundry off the kitchen with a washing machine and the building has washing lines you can use. No dryer at this stage although I may install one. You will have your own access to the family bathroom which is clean and bright, with bath and separate shower. There is plenty of parking on the street. The apartment has a garage which I use for storage. If you have a small amount of items we can create a space for you in it. The building is well looked after, nice neighbours, with a swimming pool in the communal gardens. Electricity, internet, access to cable tv and Netflix are included in the rent. There is no home phone. Note that any movies rented on Optus Fetch will be charged separately to the tenant. Bus to the city is 3 minutes walk - it's a 20-30 minute ride to the city depending on traffic. You can also walk to the ferry terminal at Chiswick (15 minutes) and get the Parramatta Rivercat to Circular Quay or Barangaroo (35 mins). This is a quiet apartment with a peaceful outlook, it's a great place to relax after a heavy day at work! There are plenty of local cafes, restaurants of all types, and supermarkets are within easy reach. I use Five Dock, Abbotsford and Drummoyne for shopping and eating. The walk around Abbotsford Bay via Drummoyne Oval is lovely and we are very close to the Bay Run. This is a brilliant location - quiet but with everything you need in very easy reach! I love living here :)
I'm Adrienne, a new grad physio that loves Inner West Sydney. Looking for a clean and tidy place with friendly people! Will be working full time but keen to socialise/have a wine on the weekend. Keen runner and love the bay run! Flexible move in date :)
I am friendly, down to earth and social but also respectful of privacy. I work full time in the city as a rehab consultant which keeps me busy during the week, I’m also quite active with outdoor running & yoga. Most weekends I am out; about visiting family & friends. I am looking for a nice place, with a bit of a backyard or courtyard for my little rescue dog Nacho. He’s very good, a older gentleman who mostly sleeps or lazes outside in the sun. He is great with other animals, especially cats.
I'm clean respectful and easy going. I like to socialise but also love time on my own and completely respect other peoples privacy. I work full time in an office but also work as a makeup artists, I'm always looking for people to try out new makeup looks on :) I also love cooking healthy food including baking healthy treats and sharing them with everyone.
I am mature, pragmatic and proactive. I spent most of the last 10 years at Uni in France and Spain, but I had my work experience in summer jobs and a 2 years contract as a sport coach. You won't hear me as I am sensitive to the noise and don't like to disturb except if it's necessary. I used to cook my meals but since it's simple, raw, with a lot F&V, it doesn't smell fried, burnt or spicy-cooked food. I don't work but I used to train everyday in UTS rowing club. I am looking for a room I could occupy for 1 to 2 months.
Adam - 28yr old I'm a pretty easy going guy, i get along with everyone and i'm very respectful of others. I'm very tidy and clean up after myself. Would love to move into a place with people who are fun to be around and pretty chilled. I don't mind going out for a few drinks and meeting new people. Looking to move in and hopefully develop a great friendship along the way :)
Hello, We are a French/Australian couple (57) Frederic is a pharmacist working as a wine expert since he arrived in Australia over a year ago) and i work in a French school. We have been house sharing both in Paris and Sydney and have loved every experience. Ideally we would be looking for 2 rooms in the same house (budget for each room around $320 each) in an area with easy communte to CBD. We are open to offers as we need to have some accommodation organized by the end of this month. We are both extremely respectful of property as we both own a property which we let and only appreciate the importance of finding the right people to care for a house. Thank you Sylvie
Hello! I’m Danii. I work as a composer (mostly for video games) as well as having side hustles as a comedian and lyricist. Interests include swing dancing, hugging doggos and game nights with friends. I pay rent on time and am respectful of my housemates. Always up for a laugh and am an easy going person - just get in touch if you have any questions 🙂
willing to pay more. Easy going, organised, quiet but don’t mind socialising, usually out on weekends and training during the week, have some furniture,
As well as your room, you get exclusive use of the large main bathroom as well as use of the study! Off street parking available in lock up garage. With space for storage! If that wasn't enough, you can also relax on the balcony with city views:) Sharing with one busy female professional. Note: the pictures of the bedroom and study include the current tenants' furniture, decor and way of living. All of which will be gone by the time you move in :)
Looking to move around 16th MARCH 2018. Looking for a house share. Not looking to share with more than 2 people preferably one person. Or an apartment that has good storage spaces. Hi I'm looking for an unfurnished room big enough for a queen bed. I have some other household things, happy to share or store under the house in boxes. Some of the things I need room for include a 2 seater couch, a 5 shelf -6ft tall bookshelf, a push bike, 2 cd racks, a glass top dining table that stores flat, an oil heater, a fan on a stand and a few plastic boxes of stuff. So depending on the space some things could be stored in the bedroom and some in a lock up garage space or ideally a storage space. I am on a 7 day roster and work most weekends and some late shifts too. Looking for a place that has a CLOTHES DRYER for those rainy days off when I have to do my laundry. I have been sharing for over 20 years in Sydney and I respect people's space and know how to clean up after myself. I am not a party person - I like to live in a peaceful, tranquil environment. I'm a vego, non-smoker, non-drinker, respect your privacy, pay rent and all my bills on time, friendly and clean. Happy to cook a curry at home or a buy a take away and chat about life over a meal. I work in the cbd mostly 10.30-7pm; sometimes earlier sometimes later. It's most likely that you probably won't run into me that often because of my work hours. Not looking to share with anyone who works from home. As I work outside of normal hours, most weekends and most public holidays, with days off mostly during the week I'm looking for a quiet household on a quiet street or cul-de-sac with minimal traffic noise etc. So if Meriton is building 7 thousand units next door to your place - it's probably not the place I'm looking for ... :) I don't drive but I do need good access to public transport 7 days a week and on public holidays. Please feel free to send me a message if you think you have a place for me. Cheers - Samantha.
My name is Matt. Im 37 and moved to Sydney in March I moved here to pursue business interests and a change in lifestyle. For my career i'm a white collar working (mainly in contracts / procurement management). I've lived in share houses for years plus i am a landlord myself, so i'm very clean, neat, respectful and like a good conversation. I keep fit and love the beach. I like to cook and eat reasonably healthy. I like outdoors. I like taking weekend trips away. I like movies. I'm pretty chilled and considerate so would like the same :) Ideally i'm looking for a place that's not too chaotic / party. Would love to come check it out and meet you. Oh, and i have a car so need to park it somewhere :) Cheers Matt
Huge share house in Russell Lea (near Five Dock and Drummoyne) We have one unfurnished bedroom available Wednesday, 8 March 2018, at $210.00 per week, payable fortnightly in advance, and bond in advance (4 weeks rent=$840.00). This includes the cost of a fortnightly cleaner, cleaning stuff, and toilet paper! Other bills (electricity, water) to be shared between five, and gas bill shared between whoever uses it, all pretty reasonable. Wireless (or cable) internet available – very cheaply at $15 per month (depending on how many use it). The house: Rambling, two-storey 5-bedroom home with carpets throughout, ceiling fans, two central living areas, two kitchens with gas stove downstairs, electric upstairs; two bathrooms (up and downstairs), heaps of storage, back courtyard for entertaining, and a sweet front garden. Several 20-minute bus services to the city (504, 502, 436) with bus stops a short walk away. Short bus trip to Burwood, Drummoyne or Leichhardt, 20 minutes to Gladesville, 10 minutes walk to Five Dock and 24 hour gym, and 3 minute walk to the water on the Bay Run for those so inclined, with a nice cafe at the end to revive at! Plenty of on-street parking in a cul-de-sac, so no traffic! The bedroom: Fairly big, with sun room alcove for extra space. It will fit a queen sized bed, desk, and almost anything you want. But there's no built-in wardrobe. We have some furniture if you need it - a bed (which is for sale), hanging rails, standing lamp, etc. To share with 5 others. We're looking for an easy-going, clean, relaxed and tidy person – domesticated enough to know that housework doesn’t get done by magic. PLEASE NO SMOKERS. We have two cats who lives here too, so being a cat lover would be important. Age range: preferably over 40 but we are flexible for the right person. We are: three women and two guys of varying ages, from 40 upwards. Email, call or text Elly with a little bit of information about yourself if you'd like to come check the place out, and also come and meet us (and the cats)!
Hi All! I'm currently looking to move into somewhere where the environment is relaxed, and respectful! I'm originally from the country and have been living in Sydney from the start of 2014, so I have well and truly learnt now about personal space and privacy that is needed to live with others! I'm studying full time at ACU in Strathfield while the rest of my time is taken up by work or sport! with not much time left in the week I'm normally relaxing and catching up with family or friends! Glad to answer anymore questions that is needed! Thanks Matt!
Hi I'm a friendly man who is happy to clean up after myself and likes to keep my room fairly tidy. I'm fairly busy doing my own thing but also am pretty social when I'm in the mood. I'm a fairly good cook as I studied to be a chef . I'm working in a French restaurant in Mosman and also selling clothing . I like bbqs and going for walks and to local restaurants and bars . I also have a bicycle and a car. I like reading and watching some tv . I'm not a big party person and fairly quite . Thanks from Jim
