Ideally a student/professional with a good work/life balance and sunny outlook on life. Sorry no pets.
Vegan feminist Psychology student at Swinburne. My name is Ruby but I also go by AJ. I like analogue photography and pretty flowers and candles and handlettering and bartending and op shopping. I'm not super fussed but I'd prefer to live in a house that has a garden/plants, a bath (I lived on campus at Swinburne all of 2016 and the apartments only have showers and I just really miss baths okay), and somewhere that lets me occasionally light a candle without evacuating the entire building. I'm a pretty open book and don't really have anything to hide from the world, while still being very respectable of privacy and personal boundaries. I keep any mess I make to myself, and always check with housemates before inviting people over. I'm not much of nightclub person, and I don't drink much at all (World Record Lightweight, here). My kind of socialising involves comfy clothes, comfy couches, deep conversations, maybe some stargazing or some cake or some board games and probably a musical or two. I can bring to the table almost anything, including a DVD/VHS player, desktop computer, printer, a bunch of fairy lights, and also I have a PlayStation 2 so really what more could you ask for? 😘 Xx I'd prefer to team-up with you and for us to start a share house together (I already have my eye on some adorable places to rent and they're just so gosh darn cute oh gosh) That said, I would also love to join your sharehouse family with a room available. Let me know what would work best for you, as I'm very flexible and open to ideas. Happy to chat over coffee (well, I drink hot-chocolate but you know, same difference). Looking forward to meeting you!! ❤💕
Hi I'm Brittany! A little about me, I'm 21 studying nutrition and exercise science and also work part time. I like to keep active and healthy, also love the outdoors and the beach! I have lived in shared houses previously and am very clean and tidy and completely respectful of other peoples space and privacy, although always up for a chat! I would like to live with people who are like minded and also easy to get along with. I have a flexible move in date and looking for somewhere that is also close to some form of public transport. Thanks Brittany
I have lived in share houses for many years and wouldn't have it any other way - I love community, and the people I've lived with tend to become great friends. Traits I value in myself and others include being considerate, open and kind communication, and taking care of all the usual sharehouse duties with grace! A bit about me - I'm 33 with a few creative bones in my body (background in theatre and visual art), and a passion for complimentary health (Naturopathy graduate, working as a Kinesiologist one day per week), and avid nature lover/camper/hiker, and also work the 9-5 x four days per week in local government. I'm rather busy and tend to fill my days and evenings, but I see building a strong relationship with my housemates as a high priority and love the periodic 'family dinner', and of course regular spontaneous cups of tea/vino and chats. Rachel :)
I am a guy in my 50's looking to share with people of similar age. I have a active social life and belong to a social group and tend to go out about 3 times a week. Not a big TV watcher but love the footy and cricket though and the odd occasional shows. Love the outdoors and BBQ's whenever I can. I am easy going and friendly with just about anyone I meet. I have a great sense of humour and joke around and don't take life too seriously. I am not the greatest cook around but manage a half decent meal. I work in sales for a wholesale supplier oin the cleaning industry.
Hello everyone! My name is Owen, and I am looking for some like minded people to share a house/apartment with! I can often be found with a book and a cup of tea, but also enjoy sharing time and a good conversation with housemates. I am about to undertake my first year of a psychology degree at Swinburne, so somewhere close by or near public transport would be a bonus! I am a relatively quiet person, who is both respectful of others, and tidy; although I'm always happy to share a bev or watch some netflix! I look forward to hearing from you! Owen
I am a 23 year old female originally from South West Victoria. I have lived in Melbourne for 3 years now and am working in the Finance Industry in the CBD. I am generally down for a cider after work/on the weekends, although do enjoy my own space as well! I am fully house trained as I have lived out of home before. Interested in team ups or available rooms!
I'm an introverted person, but love to have a chat and the odd shared dinner and bottle of wine. Creative and like my space. I like to be able to shut off when I need to recharge. I'm a creative soul- I would be empty without my creative pursuits! I'm relocating back to Melbourne from QLD and have just secured a great full time job. I'm looking for a furnished room ASAP (ideally with parking) for the short term until I can find my own place. It's a huge favour to ask, but if I could pay the bond in instalments I would HUGELY appreciate it! Relocating and starting a new job is intense and money-sucking as you could imagine! I am a very reliable person and always pay bills and rent on time. I'm clean and respectful of others, and other people's belongings. I like order and organisation, but I'm not obsessive. Past housemates have said that I've been the best housemate they've ever had. :) I hope there's someone out there who can help me out! Thanks so much for reading. :) Jodie
My name is Udit Kabra. I am currently a student pursuing Masters of Accounting and International Finance in Deakin University. I am a very flexible person. I like to interact and meet new people. As far as living is concerned I like to keep the place clean and tidy. I am pretty sure that whoever I stay with will have no difficulties in staying with me in fact you will enjoy. Cheers!
25 & from the U.K! - Ive been living in Melbourne for about 18 months now! I'm ideally looking for a team-up rather than move into someone else's place and rent a room!! Looking for someone of similar age to me, preferably female with similar interests! I'm 25, really easy-going, social and friendly! Work in the city in recruitment, Monday to Friday! Very sociable, love going out for drinks on a Friday after work! Really into my fitness and go to the gym at least 5 days a week and enjoy going for the occasional run. Love sunbathing, wine, going for brunch, coffee and watching trashy tv! Ideal locations would be South Yarra, Prahran or Richmond! I'm not going to be looking until the end of April/beginning/middle of May. Depending on who I meet and what I find! If you have a similar plan, get in touch :)
I'm easy going and and easy to get along with. As I'm planning to travel around upper east coast my length of stay will be app. 6 weeks. Can be flexible though. if the place is a short walk away from a train station this is a huge plus. Love to go out on the weekends but I've an easy life on the weekdays. Love watercolour painting and other arty stuffs.
Hey! I am a 21 year old student looking to find a home in the eastern suburbs. I am clean, easy going and reliable. Outside of uni I will be working part time and I love cooking, pilates and hunting down new cafes for brunch! My friend, Alex, is a qualified plumber who will be working in the area. He is super easy going and has a great sense of humour. This will be his first time living in Melbourne and is looking forward to seeing what it is all about! We would love to move in with at least one other person around our age and start an awesome house! We both have busy schedules and like to do our own thing, but also love the idea of having dinner and drinks together when we can. If you think you could help us out, please get in touch and tell us a bit about you!
I'm Zoe and I like to be a very considerate, neat and reliable housemate. I am always respectful of other peoples' property and possessions. I am friendly and sociable but I also enjoy relaxing and some quiet time when I'm at home. I really enjoy playing soccer and swimming to keep fit and I'll be studying Exercise Science full time this year. I'm moving to Melbourne from Brisbane for a bit of an adventure and will enjoy spending time with friends and family who also live down there, as well as hopefully meeting lots of new people! :)
I am probably one of the cleanest and most hygienic males you will come across! Honestly i work long hours, and dont like hosting gatherings or the like. I spend most of my free time out of the house or reading and watching television at home. I am a non smoker and a craft beer enthusiast.
I am an easy going , fun loving working female and looking to move out from my current place.I am clean and try to keep my surroundings also clean.
Hi, Currently in Sydney but moving back to Melbourne (finally!!). I got myself a cute chihuahua/Maltese (she's now 6months old, toilet trained) while I'm here so I'm planning on bringing my little Belle with me back there in Melbourne. Working full time (will be working at Heatherton), laid back, enjoy good movies and listening to music. Looking for a place close to public transport and too far from work until I get my license. Bringing my own bed so I'm looking for unfurnished room. Cheers
Hi world! My name is Alexander Sørensen. I'm a study abroad student from Denmark studying film at Swinburne for a semester, and I'm super excited to get the chance to live in Melbourne. I'm a passionate film maker and songwriter who loves dogs, fitness and skating. I'm a very extroverted person who is surprisingly good at respecting privacy as contradictory as that may sound :) Fun facts about me: My favorite color is blue I'm half chinese, half danish I'm the (unofficial) best fried rice cook in all of Denmark I know how to say 'cheers' in 8 different languages Best regards, Alexander the Danish dude
Hi there! My name is Maddie, I'm in my mid twenties and I work full time as a primary school teacher. I am friendly, easy going and very respectful of others. I love getting away and all things travel related, art, tea, baking, films, music, keeping active, the outdoors and good food with friends. I have lived in share houses before and am looking for a friendly, homely and caring household. Somewhere that feels like a home rather than just a house and where the housemates enjoy having a chat at the end of the day or sharing a meal every now and then etc. I am a very tidy person and value a clean home so I am looking for housemates who are the same and share the cleaning. I am pretty busy during the week so would prefer a place where weeknights are fairly quiet. If these sound like the things you value too then I'd love to hear from you!
Hi everyone! My names Laura, nearly 25 years old and I'm currently looking for a room in a house that has a friendly and homely environment. I'm all about positivity and have a relaxed happy approach to my day to day life. Recently kicked off my nursing career and excited to enjoy a little bit of work life balance after studying way too hard for too long! I love exploring places I've never been and relaxing with a fun loving group of people in my down time. I'm respectful of personal space but at the same time enjoy great company when I'm at home. I'm ready for a new experience, a new home and living with some fun, like minded and chilled out people :)
