The Humpies is the old Major property, just off Church rd in Panton Hill. It's 3.5kms from Hurstbridge station so it's still an easy commute to Melbourne. The local community is great, and it's close to St Andrews and Smiths Gully, too. If you're a cyclist, there are great country roads or mountain bike trails close by. I bought the property a few years ago at auction - the first time it was sold in 80 years. It was a very humble weekender - never a "house"! Check this out for pre-reno pictures and the story: Now, a few years later, the interior renos are complete. It's a warm & cozy home that I have put all my creativity into - all bespoke with heaps of character! There are veggie gardens and fruit trees which are maturing - apples & pears finally! I have a menagerie of animals: 2 dogs, a cat, chickens, ducks, and a pony (my daughter's). Don't worry - I won't expect you to take care of them - unless you'd like to! Lots of stories!
Hi, I'm Kelsey :) I'm a bit of hippy/goth hybrid, but friendly, down to earth and more approachable than I look. I'm mindful and respect others when it comes to privacy, personal space and lives; but am also sociable, love having a laugh over a beverage or two, and sharing meals. When I'm not working full time, I like to spend my free time with art projects, enjoying the company of my cat, or out visiting friends. I love cooking vegan cuisine, and am a pro at cleaning up after myself! Due to current housemates looking to move out, I am looking for somewhere relatively local, so I don't spend all my free time commuting to work. (We work to live, not the other way round, right?!) Looking for housemate/s that are down to earth, have a great sense of humour, and don't mind the concept of sharing a roof with someone a little bit nerdy and odd :)
Hello, I'm Harriet, a 19 year old nutrition and psychology student. I'm looking for a warm home to create a little housemate fam in! I am vegan, but am not opposed to omni cooking in a share home. I am a pretty chill person who enjoys my own little space occasionally, but also love cooking and sharing meals/ netflix binges and late night chats with housemates.
Hey, I'm Beth. I'm wanting to move into a new house and am looking for someone to "team up" and get one together, preferably somewhere that's not too far of a drive from Research (30min drive max). I have a 5yo son who will be at school next year so I'm looking for someone who is ok with children and isn't too wild. I'm not against having a couple of people over on the weekend and a few drinks or whatever though. I'm not a grump haha. I've lived in shared accommodation before, and will keep the house tidy (with a child there are sometimes toys and stuff laying around but not dirty), respect your privacy and your stuff and wouldn't expect you to join in our life (although if you wanted to share a meal or hang out with us then that's great). I have a good rental history and am currently renting a property by myself for $350pw plus bills easily, so you wouldn't need to stress about if I was able to pay rent or bills. I'm open to sharing a whole house, or renting a house with a granny flat out the back for someone who enjoys a bit more space to themselves. My lease has ended to I can move anytime. Send me a message if this might be something you'd be interested in! :)
24 years of age Full time personal trainer and manager of a gym in Doreen. I start work really early in the morning, so my future housemates would have to be okay with me leaving the house at this time (I do try to be quiet) I’m a lover of all things sport, clean tidy and just really easy going 😀
I love to spend time with my dog. She likes to be with me inside whwn I'm home and is outside when I'm not. Need to share with someone who is ok with that. I am a tidy person, but not ocd. I am quiet, sometimes more of a home body. I enjoy outside activities and try to do something every weekend, conversation flows easily, might be shy to begin with.
I am a friendly bubbly individual who is up for a chat, movie night or a drink at the local pub but also enjoy my own space hanging out in my room doin my own thing. I love music, animals, meeting new people and just chillin out watching Netflix. I have 2 big friendly dogs that get on great with other dogs. One grew up with cats the other is a rescue and has yet been tested with cats or rabbits. Looking to move in with some friendly, reliable, tidy people. I've lived in a couple share houses mostly with guys so know to give people space and keep a good vibe going. I would like to meet for coffee or tea and get to know eachother for all parties to make a decision and go from there. I am currently working part time on the hunt for full time but am confidently capable of paying my way.

Kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities can be shared, together with television. Home has heating and air conditioning. Large garden for study and enjoyment, and local parklands with walking trails. Wattle Glen station is an easy walk, together with local bus lines. Diamond Creek shops and gym/pool are nearby.
Brand new house, all bills included in rent. Lounge room, kitchen and bathroom facilities available, must supply their own bed and other bedroom needs. The house has NBN, an outdoor undercover lounge area plus a grass area, and free Netflix. Spot in garage to park car. Open living/kitchen area, and modern style furnishings. Under 5 minute drive to shops, food stores and petrol station. Fire pit to make toasted marshamallows too!
I am clean and sonewhat tidy, but not over the top. I am responsible and honest. I like to live my life, my way so I have no issue with how you live yours - unless it impacts on me. I am friendly but not needy. I like my own time and my own area but am happy to sit down for dinner, chat and go our own ways. I also have a fur baby named Louis. He is a white maltese shih-tsu, who is very much house trained and very much a lap dog. He loves people and cuddles and is great with other dogs of any age. He is really easy going and he usually comes with me everywhere as he loves the car. I am looking to share a home with someone who has similar views on sharing a house. I would prefer to have only one or two housemates max and my own bathroom is preferable but not a necessity.
Looking for a place where I can keep to myself. A granny flat or studio flat would be ideal, out the back of an existing residence or a one bedroom apartment. I am tidy, enjoy cooking, singing, working and socializing.
I'm very easy going . I have a small dog. I love to cook, and i play tennis. I keep busy. I'm very tidy and always clean up after myself. I enjoy a chat but also understand when you need your space. I'm often not home as I have a partner I spend time with (at times, he stays over) .
I love a place where everyone contributes equally, I love to cook and have my adult children/grandchildren around for dinner at times. I am easy going and love to have a laugh.
