I'm a 24 year old Melb Uni student looking for a room in a sharehouse. I'm clean, quiet and looking for the same in housemates. I'm queer and vegan, would love housemates with similar interests and who like hanging out but I'm eager to move out asap so pretty much anything in my price range/area will be great! *I'm Trans/SW/Mental illness friendly too!* Feel free to message me if you want more info!
Located centrally, the apartment is walking distance to Fitzroy St, Albert Park Lake, the beach and Middle Park Shops. It's also a minute stroll to the 96 tram route (10-mins to the CBD). There's no lock-in and you can stay on a month-to-month basis if that's what suits. The room is fully furnished, however, if you would prefer to bring your own furniture, I couldn't chair less, it doesn't really mattress to me ;) Please note, the room pictured is the master bedroom which I'm now occupying. The room available is a little bit smaller. Thanks, Hannah
I'm 21 from the UK avaliable to move in from the 20th August looking to move in to a house share preferably a mixed house I smoke and love a good night out I like to live in a clean and tidy environment
Hi all, I'm looking for a new home! I'm 27, fun, happy, super relaxed and easy to get along with! Pretty balanced, outgoing, not full on and happy to get involved with whatever is happening at a house socially. I'm usually a bit of a sloth after work, but happy to go with the roomates for the occasional school night excursion to do something fun if someone suggests something. Would love to be a part of a social place that is happy to do some drinks and muck around together / venture over the weekend or after work on a Friday. I guess i'm pretty normal and like most of the normal things that people do. - Ps4 - Watching tv & documentaries - reality tv is shite - Sport - AFL, EPL - Going to a gig in the northern suburbs - Drinks on weeekend and 420 happy if others are, usually dabble only once or twice a month myself though. I'm a clean person that will always clean up after myself straight away - "not an i'll do the dishes tomorrow guy" and put in my fair share into the house work when something needs doing without being asked. I've worked full time in recruitment on St Kilda road for the last 4 years and currently do mon-fri 8:30am - 5:30pm. Happy to answer any other questions you guys have!
Melbourne girl currently looking for a chill, non-lively place to live. I get up and go to work locally in St Kilda and come home to my room/couch to watch stuff on my tablet and relax. My hours are quite long so I'm super quiet outside of work and enjoy a peaceful living space. Not a party girl and won't have people over ever. I like to cook! So you'll probably score some rad food out of me. Would prefer only 1-2 other roommates. Have come from a noisy place and looking for some quiet space to myself. Charly is my little Boston Terrier, minimal shedding, doesn't bark and is an indoorsy house trained lap dog. If you think I'm cool, I'll hook you up with a skydive to say thanks for the pad ✌🏻
Hey my names Sherwyn Dutt I'm 22 and I'm looking for a place to live in Melbourne whilst doing postgraduate work, as well as chill out and pursue creative interests! I currently live in Brunswick however I intend to move to somewhere a little less expensive. I'm studying IVF at Monash University, and I'm looking for people who I can chill out with who are hopefully also clean, conscientious and respectful of one another. These days I’m aiming to live a healthy, active and positive lifestyle. I get around staying active but also having a pint at the pub, a boogie at a bar or festival, and watching sports as well as hanging out at home. I'm a big fan of house, disco and techno music, film and design. One of my hobbies it trying to mix and I’m looking for people who could give me feedback, and in return I’d share any good tunes I find! I’m looking for people I could have a laugh and a good conversation with, because I enjoy being social and sharing music, ideas and thoughts. I’m new to Melbourne so I’m really searching for a house that could enlighten me on the amazing nightlife scene I’ve seen so far in the city and elsewhere, and maybe make a few new friends along the way! I'm currently looking for part/full time work. I reckon that the people in a sharehouse are just as important as the house itself, and I’m looking for a place that would have cruisey vibes with a good work-life balance. Any response regarding anyone who would like to look into exchanging my room in Brunswick for theirs should contact me immediately for details. Hope to hear from you!

We are couple from Estonia and we're looking for a room in Melbourne. One of us just finishing his studies and we are both working. We are looking for a short term accommodation as our current house will be shut down completely:( We have to move out by the 7th of July and we will be moving to Queensland either at the end of July or at the beginning of August. So basically we just have to somehow cover our remaining time here in Melbourne :) We are both non-smokers and extremely tidy people. We enjoy interacting with our housemates, but we also know to respect peoples boundaries and their personal space. We have lived in Australia for over 3 years and are otherwise well-travelled. Even though we are both busy most of the time with work and studies, we wouldn't mind having an occasional game/movie night with our housemate(s) or why not even a day-trip at times. An occasional adventure to the great outdoors with good company is something we both greatly enjoy. PS. We are huge animal lovers so a pet in the house would only be a bonus for us :) Tiit and Marion
Hey guys and gals I work in the health and fitness industry, currently working in the city as a sports rehab specialist/trainer. I work early mornings so i'm not looking for a party house but i'm down for a good night out in the weekends on occasion, enjoying the Melbourne lifestyle :). I'm chilled, relaxed in nature and enjoy good company and conversation, I am originally from New Zealand and have been living in Melbourne for 5 years ;) I love the arts and all Melbourne has to offer. I am out and about a lot of the time with friends and work so I won't be at home all the time, I respect other peoples space :) P.S You would also need to be LGBT friendly send me a message if you want to be roomies :) x JC

*PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT ME FOR ROOMS IN THOSE IN AREAS I HAVE NOT LISTED FOR & THINGS I CLEARLY OUTLINE I AM NOT INTERESTED IN* Sorry but I hate opening messages saying ppl have looked at my profile & offer me sth that clearly is not suitable. Thanks! :) Very quiet, respectful and clean. eventhough i am quiet and like to have my own space and give people theirs, i can be sociable, however I keep quiet busy, i also like my own space, and give people theirs :) I appreciate mutual understanding, respect and pretty much a cool, chilled and quiet space with mature people. I very much prefer own bathroom, otherwise, very very clean people and rooms with less people in it, less residents and rooms and people who don't bring people over, too much and overtly, not partying. Prefer double story houses and being on the second level. Don't mind pets at all, in fact would love to live with one <3 I hope to hear from you. Thank you! :)
Well as i'm sure it states somewhere, My name is Sam. I've spent my whole life in Auckland and have decided to make a big move to Melbourne! I'm pretty unsure about where I want to live and where would be best to live, but I'm excited about it all. I'm a very good cleaner - especially dishes - and consider myself a pretty responsible and considerate person. I know literally no one in Melbourne (exciting) and look forward to making a fresh start. I arrive the morning of the 28/6/17. Thanks for your time :)
Sociable and easy going. Currently working full time in community mental health in the CBD. Generally I spend my weekdays going to the gym and chilling out. Otherwise I love getting out and spending time with mates on the weekends. I'm looking for like minded people and preferably close to public transport.
Tram 12 and bus 606 literally just outside (other options close by) 5 minute walk to the beach 5 minute walk to Fitzroy Street Recently renovated with new appliances and carpet throughout ***Short stay welcome and probably preferred*** The room set up is very basic, bed and bedding with a single wardrobe and hangers plus a bookshelf with three draws. We're not looking at purchasing any more furniture for this room. The place is cosy but not huge so appreciate that it can only accommodate a max of three people at any given time. Rent includes WIFI, electricity, gas, water, laundry liquid and toilet paper. You are responsible for your own toiletries (soap, toothpaste etc) this isn't AirBnb :P If you make a mess - you clean it. Pretty simple.

Been living out of home for the past 3 years so i'm definitely house trained!

Not crazy about huge parties or clubs, I am more of a bar/BBQ kind of guy. Into guitar (quietly haha) electric skateboarding, gym, games, running, hiking/camping, design, and love a netflix session. I have been living around Melbourne for 4 years in share houses, great at fixing things, and don't mind some noise. Looking for a chill and comfortable share house with like minded people, pretty much anywhere close to Caulfield, around the end of June for 6 months+. With Guys, girls or both of any age that are happy to have a beer and hang out.
Hi new potential housefriend! I’m Josh, and I’m here to tell you about RoomAtJosh’s™. It’s a room I have, and it’s at mine! Do you have the need for a short-mid-ish term place to live, where you totally have access to the beach, various St Kilda things, and a startling selection of public transport options? Then RoomAtJosh’s™ might be right up your alley! RoomAtJosh’s™ contains: - Medium floorspace (2.9m x 3.2m + a BONUS inconvenient doorway area!) - Objects: bed x1, shelves x2, bedside drawers x2, clothes rack x1, rug x1, coathangers x31 - A tall cupboard area to keep your shit inside - A nice window with a nice view of a nice courtyard - A heater that smells mildly odd but also provides heat - Shiny wooden floors and fairly good noise-defense The house itself is old but quite nice, and has a pretty neat selection of videogame consoles and boardgames, totally available for your perusal. Everything including the room is furnished and functional, and there is also a cool catfriend named Rey. She is small and friendly, and loud and needy, and fluffy and great. This will need to be factored into any desires to live at RoomAtJosh’s™. Also there is a small robot who feeds the cat.
Hi! My name is Alfred and I'm from Stockholm, Sweden. I'll be studying engineering as an exchange student at Monash University (Clayton Campus) this fall. I'm a social guy looking forward to meet new people, and I'm really excited to explore Melbourne and it's surroundings. A few of my biggest interests are sailing, wildlife and working out, but I love to go and take a few beers sometimes as well. I'm a responsible guy, keen of doing my share of all of the everyday chores and responsibilities that comes with a place to stay.
Easy going professional. Not after a party house, just some cool people to hang with every now and then.
