Hi! I'm Anamaria :) a masters student from Colombia. I'm an open minded, easygoing, organized and responsible girl. I love cooking and eating, listening to music, dance a little and talk about life. I also enjoy my privacy, some Sundays are just perfect in my own bed.
Happy & easygoing South African looking for a private room in shared accommodation - looking for something modest yet clean & respectable. I am a young working professional in the Civil Consulting Engineering field, brand new in Melbourne after accepting an intra-company transfer from Durban South Africa to come & work on some major VicRoads & PTV projects. Here on a 6 month working Visa but hope to stay longer. Fluent in English, Non-smoker with sober habits. Focussed & hard working during the week, although I absolutely love socialising & going out, I'm always up for a good time. Interests include longboarding, mtb & cycling, paddling, hiking and any kind of adventure in general. Oh and, I'm South African - which means amazing braai skills :) (Braai = Barbeque)
This is an amazing beachside, modern art-deco unit that was recently purchased for 1.5mil. It's a 1 minute walk to the beach and two lovely cafes, a 5 minute walk to Fitzroy St, St Kilda, and a 10-15 minute walk to Acland St/Luna Park. This property has 3 very large bedrooms, an amazing industrial kitchen (see photos), a seperate bathroom/toilet/shower room and a tram stop on the corner, which will take you into the CBD and through to Fitzroy. It comes with a laundry, complete with a new Miele washing machine and ample on street parking.
Hey there, I just moved to Melbourne from Austria and I am looking for a place to call home for a while. I will be starting my PhD studies at RMIT in August, which means I am working full time and have a steady income. I am a quiet person in general who looks after himself and keeps things things tidy and clean. However, I do enjoy chats and get-togethers for meals or whatever. I respect the privacy of others if they want to keep to themselves. However, I would like to call people I live with day-in and day-out friends at some point and not just strangers you live with. Since I am still new to Melbourne, I like to explore the city and surroundings if time permits. Other activities I enjoy are watching some TV shows or the occasional movie. Although I've only listed a few suburbs it doesn't really matter to me where exactly I'll be settling down as long as CBD can be reached within reasonable time. Also the length of 6 months is more or less irrelevant. If it feels right I am open to stay for longer. If you feel like I would fit in with your current household, I'd be happy to receive a message from you. Cheers.
Hello, I am Juan from Mexico and been living in Melbourne for a year now. Currently have way my masters degree and public health and working part time in Cowderoys Dairy cafè. Looking for a place close to work, I am friendly and like to respect other people's space. I enjoy watching movies and board games as well as the ocasional chat with some drinks. I am clean and like to enjoy life.
Hi my name is Sarah I am a 22 y/o model from Perth, I have worked internationally for many years and am now basing myself in Melbourne at least till the end of the year. I am a social person but also love my down time at home. I am a good cook (it helps that my dad is a chef). I am a very considerate housemate as I have had many in the past. I am clean, friendly, respectful and have never had any housemate troubles in my experiences. I've lived in Melbourne before and I'm in love with the city. Fun fact about me, I've just finished filming Australian Survivor which starts airing July 30 (another reason why I want to base myself in Melbourne).
Hi there! Currently in a temporary apartment but looking to move in a new place by Sept 10. I'm a working professional for 8 years in Hong Kong and have just moved to Melbourne for my master study. I'm both outgoing (ie. sporty) and enjoy the peaceful moments at home (ie. a movie). Food and wine lover but not into parties and don't smoke. I'm in building planning industry so would be quite specific for what I'm looking for - in a leafy and airy area but walking distance to cafes and restaurants, spacious (both living room and bedroom) with study desk, neat and tidy, large windows with plenty of sunlight (ie. north-facing room). For now I'm thinking to rent just 3 months. Open to look for female flatmate(s) sharing similar habit / value. Love animals but prefer a dog than a cat if she has one. ;D
20 year old from Perth originally, now living in Richmond , looking for a fun, bubbly, roommate who is respectful of my own space, but down to cook/go out for dinner together. I work on chapel street in Windsor as a receptionist, so will be out of the house from 7:30-5:30 most days. Ideally someone who doesn't mind a wine and cheese night whilst watching friends. If this sounds like you, send me a message and we can have a chat. :)))
Hi. I am an animator building up experience locally before jumping over to Canada early next year for work. I spend much of my spare time exercising, spending time with friends/ family and on personal and professional development. I am easy to live with. I’m a tolerant person and am adaptable and open to feedback. You’ll usually find me out of the house or quietly pursuing my personal goals in my room. I’m always up for good conversations in the common areas. I’d like to live close to work, so anything near South Melbourne could work. Furnished room with bed and desk and stable internet would be perfect.
Hi there! I'm Sheree, I work full time for a law firm in the city, I also study law externally, part time. I am hoping to find a place inner city, preferably Bayside or Richmond areas and I have no preference in gender. I do all of the right things as a roomy, I'm clean, pay on time etc. I am often out catching up with friends/family for dinner, or a cheeky wine, otherwise I try to get outdoors to maintain a certain level of fitness! If you want any further info, ask away! Sheree :)
Hey everyone! Im a 25 yrs male student at uni. A friendly, independent, social guy. Im looking for a place near to city coz i study in city. I like the culture from different country. If u hv any questions, just ask me! I would be very happy if my character would fit ur search for a new roommate
I'm great to live with as I'm good fun, respectful, clean and quiet. I'm a non-drinking gay Irish man who loves to socialise but also likes to sit in and watch TV or read a book. I enjoy running, reading, and all things horror. back home in Ireland, I worked in television production, I'm looking for a change of pace for my time in Melbourne.
I'm a 27 year old from the UK. I've been in Melbourne for a month but need to find somewhere long term from 8th August. I work Monday to Friday 9-5 and in my free time like to be active. I play netball, practice yoga and go to the gym. When I'm at home I enjoy cooking and chilling out with a Netflix series. Looking for a private room, preferably in a smaller house share with 1-2 other females. Own bathroom would be a plus.
CHILEAN guy here, pretty chill, friendly and tidy, have lived in new zealand the last 9 years wih the same flatmates. I enjoy keeping fit, going for a drink, a movie, etc... Theatre director / actor by trade, currently doing a PhD in Theatre performance. I am looking for a nice place to live in, more on the quiet side that in the party mood. Don't mind sharing a meal or a drink, looking really for something I could call home. I also love growing some veggies to hehehehehe if here is a garden
My name is Nicholas and I'm a 22 year old guy originally from the states, but I'm currently living in England, and was living in Ireland the year before that. I plan on working part-time in Melbourne for a holiday visa while there. My interests include gaming, short walks to the fridge, linguistics (currently studying German!), and I'm rather big on clubbing nights out- but don't fret! I like my own space so I never bring the party home even though I'm often out! That also means it'll be fairly rare for me to bring over guests, as I'd rather visit someone than have them come to me. I've lived in both super social party houses and shared flats where the people living together do completely their own thing, and I've realised that neither of these extremes are for me. I'm fairly quiet when home and tend to keep to myself, but like socialising at home occasionally so being able to be friends with my flatmates is a must. If we can hangout and enjoy each other's company, respect each other's privacy, and maybe go for a few pints together from time to time, we'll get on just swell. Super pet friendly and would love to live with a dog/cat/etc without the responsibility of actually owning one so I'd consider you having one a plus. Also, I'm hella gay and so will most of my friends so being LGBT+ friendly is an absolute must. I won't be in Melbourne until the day I've moved there, so being open to communicating by video calls instead of in person is needed as well.
Clean, professional guy working in corporate.looking for a spacious place in a share house/apartment. I have got my own bedroom furniture so am looking for an unfurnished bedroom. I lead a healthy lifestyle and go to the gym a few times a week.
We are a couple from Poland, studying and working in Melbourne at least till July 2018. Looking for a long-term place to stay near the sea! We like to meet new people and share time with them, easy-going and relaxed, like to cook :) Contact us if you want to rent a flat / house together!
(Plans to travel overseas 1 month during Sep-Oct 2017) 25 yo female, easy going, friendly, enjoys socialising and going out having a good time, also really enjoy my alone time, reliable, respectful to others and expect same respect back (in general, cultures, genders, sexuality etc), currently working casual/full time 9-5 weekdays in CBD, **will be my FIRST TIME moving out of home** so no rental experience but I believe I'll be a nice addition. Looking for a comfortable home-y vibe with other easy going people. Currently live in Sunbury so anywhere closer to the city and affordable is ideal for me. I have some furniture but if there is no room I have the option of leaving them at home (bed, dressing table, drawers, 2 couches, tv). Atm I am trying to relearn playing the keyboard in spare time but am not too loud or inappriopriate in making noise. Prefer a spacious room that can fit queenbed, some furniture and has a wardrobe, but am open to smaller spaces if good location/$. I have no specific move out date, but ideally wanting to move out soon (most likely end of July onwards).
Hey guys, Looking for a place for me and my chubby, cuddly cat called Trips. I'll be moving to Melbourne from Brisbane around mid-July to start my Masters of International Sustainable Tourism Management at Monash (Caulfield campus) so move-in date would be anytime between 10th and 20th of July. I'm super laid back and sociable, but can also really enjoy some personal time. I'm an Indonesian-Australian who grew up in France/Switzerland and love meeting people from all over. Looking for housemates that enjoy sharing a meal, a beer or a glass of wine (or three) from time to time and who can spark up interesting conversation! Strong sense of humour a must :) I'll be new to the area, so would definitely appreciate living with people that can become more than just housemates!! Bonus points if you're a fan of furry creatures and would be happy to give Trips a cuddle/feed if I'm home late from work or uni. My room is usually a beautiful mess but I like to keep/see common areas clean and cosy. Also looking for a room that's furnished with a bed and a wardrobe as I'll just be coming with a couple of suitcases. Send me a message if you think we'd get along! X
