Hi , I'm Duygu cheerful girl , from Turkey. I will come to Melbourne as a student for 2 months maybe 3. I am tidied up and neat. I always clean things after me, so that's not gonna be a problem. Not a neat freak. Pets are ok for me, if you have. I love any kind of animal especially cats and dogs ! I can take the dog out for a walk and feed the cat all the time <3 no prob. I am friendly, outgoing, open-minded, cheerful. I like partying (outside of course) , movie nights, watching tv series, grabbing a glass of wine sometimes..Not a 24 hours party animal but I like meeting with new people, chatting, sharing thoughts, funny stories.. I do respect other's life and spaces. I'm quiet at home but if you call me for PS,movie, chatting, dinner I'm always in ^^ Probably my English school will be between 9ish and 14o'clock, Mon-Fri. I'm looking for a place as a private room. Yard would be fine to chill and BBQ(I'd never complain about something if you'd do it everyday haha). I might be a student in Melbourne, but no worries about the bills cuz I'm already employed in my country. I'll be landed on 8th so it's a bit urgent !
This property has a great location, walking distance to 3 trams around the apartment -all go to the city ( tram 12,16 and 96 ) also bus to the airport, 2 blocks away to st kilda beach, close to Fitzroy str ( all the restaurants and pubs ). Very central but not too noisy.
*Room can come furnished, just let me know* Handy to public transport (Tram 12/Bus 606) - literally outside the door step! NOTE: This is a blessing and a curse (for light sleepers) the room is road side and you get a bulk of the tram noise going past. Close to Fitzroy Street, Woolies is a 10 min walk away, beach is 5 mins walk, closest café is just across the road. The room itself is quite large, easily fits a queen size bed and plenty of space for furnishings, with a single wardrobe. Included in weekly rent - apartment is fully furnished, wifi, power/water/gas, toilet paper, big screen TV in lounge, dish washing liquid (Although we have a dishwasher we don't use it - Yes...Hand wash your own dishes, don't be lazy!) and rubbish bags Facilities - washer (no dryer available), bike rack and communal clothes line out the back Not included in rent - personal toiletries (soap etc), cloth washing powder, cleaning up after your mess... hmm I'm usually happy to clean the common areas and just ask you clean your own room, your own dishes and take out the garbage if you see it's full/smelly. Basically if you make a mess, you clean it - in the kitchen AND bathroom. Backpackers welcome (min 3 month stay)
24 year old backpacker from London loving Australia so far, trying to save up for my next mission but hostel life is killing my bank account!! I've lived away from home since I was 17 and have lived with tonnes of different types of people so I've gotten pretty good at keeping a great vibe between housemates. Massively into music, I DJ and produce music on my computer (I've got headphones so I won't wake anyone up). Work full time but like to get out and do stuff as much as possible. Ex-smoker but i'm cool living with smokers. Give me a shout if you want to hang out!
20 year old female, working full time in retail at Chadstone. Looking to move closer to work (I currently travel 1h 45min), but still staying close by the city/outer suburbs. I'm tidy and organised. Looking for somewhere where I can be friends/have a laugh/drink with flat mates, but also be allowed to have my own downtime.
Friendly, neat and tidy couple. My partner and I don't really party or anything like that, although we do occasionally like to have a few friends over for a dinner and a glass of wine or two. We mostly keep to ourselves mostly and will keep our space clean. I am a PhD Music Student (Composition) on a good scholarship and mostly work from home. I play trumpet and I practice a couple of hours a day which can be pretty loud but if the other housemates work scheduled then, or when you go out grocery shopping or whatever, and I can use a mute when you're home. My partner is a pianist studying at the Australian National Academy of Music. He goes there most days to practice, and we have a keyboard at home he uses to practice at night with or without headphones depending on how much the sound effects others in the house.
Hey my names Michele! I currently live in Richmond but looking to move over toward the St Kilda, South Melb, Port melb area! Would love to be closer to the beach & closer to my work in South Melbourne too. I'm pretty active, like to go to the gym 3-4 times a week, get out & about on weekends soaking up all the great free festivals & events Melbourne puts on this time of the year! I like a Friday afternoon drink in the sun to unwind after work & chill out with friends/colleagues/housemates. I keep my wines for the weekend & am a 9 - 5 girl. I'm in Finance so sometimes work an evening seeing clients but rarely! I'm pretty easy going, clean & tidy, like a good conversation over a nice glass of red & looking for a house that has a good "vibe" with like minded young professionals. I don't mind sharing meals every so often I think that's nice in a house share but not a regular thing as I like to eat pretty healthy & you might not be into that! Free to catch up after wok or on weekends, Mish
I have lived in a share house before so understand the balance between fun and respecting others. This was in London and I have only been back in Australia for the past few months. Like to thing I bring a fun vibe to the house! My current position is in Sydney (so I am living in Sydney at the moment) however I will be making the move to Melbourne over the Christmas break. I will still be with my current employer thought so I have a reliable income. I work in the media industry so often have long work hours! On the weekends I love a cider and socialising with friends or a girls night out but also enjoy a Netflix marathon and night in. I also enjoy going for long walks and adventuring to new places on the weekend. If I'm stressed I tend to bake and share with my housemates otherwise I feel guilty eating it all... Please contact me, I would love to hear about the type of person you are looking for or if you would like to know a bit more about me.
Hey, I'm Anna From Germany, 28. I'm in Australia since January and I'm planning to stay air a few years. I am very interested in your beautiful room. My home is like my haven. I love to relax, chill out, and keep a loving, peaceful space. I'm from London, and have come to Melbourne for the summer to see if I potentially want to live here.. (Very exciting). I'd love to find a place near the botanical gardens and the ocean if possible, and share with someone who doesn't mind my slightlyobsessive love of meditation, yoga and good energy :)
I'm a thirty year old female hairstylist from Los Angeles, California, born and raised. I'm looking for (preferably a female) around my age who is professional but also likes to have fun! I love my space clean and neat, and quiet, but not too quiet :) I love having friends around but also love my own space. I'm moving over to the Melbourne area on a working holiday visa to do hair, and possibly looking to stay longer than the twelve months.
Hi there, this is David. I'm a graphic designer and artist from Bogota, Colombia. I'm looking for a nice place to live with happy and easy going people. At the moment I'm studying and working part time. Im really chill guy, pretty much into art, design, cultural activities, sport and cool parties.
Dear property owner, My name is Enrique and I am a doctor that works in the Alfred Hospital. My mum is coming to visit me from Spain and I am looking for a place for both of us from the 9th december until 22nd January when I am moving to Sydney as I have a job starting there. I am interested in an apartment a close to the Alfred Hospital or which doesn't have a long commute to the ALfred Hospital Thanks Enrique
Hey, I'm Sophie and I currently reside in Brisbane in Sunny Qld and will be moving to Melbourne for a bit of a change in scene and culture in January (exact date depends on move in dates of houses). I'm a working student who has lived in shared accommodation in many different situations, so I'm no stranger to adaptation. I'm very easy to live with as I'm easy going, reliable with bills, love to have a chat and hang out with everyone while enjoying my space in my room and respecting everyone's space and social preferences. So really, I'll just adapt to whichever style household you already have! I work as a salesperson at Jb hi fi and will be transferred from my Brisbane store to one down there. I work 20-30 hours per week and will be transferring my studies to Melbourne also, so I'm a busy lady! I love food and wine and have a little red collection happening which I love to share. Additionally, I am an animal lover, so would be more than happy to move into a household that has a loving, furry housemate! I'm not fussed about the gender of other housemates, as long as this is mutual. My only house preference is heating for those cold Melbourne months (so all of them) as this Qlder will probably turn into a little icicle. Also as a side note, please take the opportunity to look past just my age. As mentioned earlier, I've lived in different shared situations and the majority of my close friends are 25+. I say this as I understand being under 22 is quite often a deal breaker. Look forward to hearing from you!
Hi! I'm a 22-year-old student from Finland but I live and study Food & Nutrition in Uppsala, Sweden. I'm coming to Melbourne to do an exchange semester at Deakin university. I love: to cook, dance, travel, read, Netflix&chill and run. I'm tidy (but not too tidy), I'm social but love to be by myself every once in a while. And I love dogs! Love, Emma
Hi I am a 31yo professional male. I have moved from Sydney in December to live and work in Melbourne. I work in Advertising in Media in South Melbourne and looking for a house/flat share. I am flexible on location and wouldn't mind any of the following areas: East Melbourne/Collingwood/Fitzrow/Brunswick/Carlton/St Kilda/Southbank. I am a happy-go-lucky person, enjoy cooking, music, exercise - squash, swim, gym and reading. I am a clean, tidy, and respect people's privacy and space. I work full time and during the week and would usually be home around 8pm after gym and/or catching up with friends. I enjoy making the most out of my time and exploring outdoor spaces and going to events and would hike around national parks on weekends or head to the beach. I hail from London but live permanently in Oz now. Thanks Faysal
Mini Tan sausage dog, fully furnished house already owned with library. Love books, and quiet. Job involves interstate travel.
Paul's a Filipino-grown Melbourne Citizen who's been designing for as long as he can remember. That is his main passion. Paul is pretty social, tidy and easy going and looking for people of similar traits. Paul likes to talk in third person.
Both myself and Matt are from England, very chilled but social! I love my fitness and food - massive foodie! Matt loves to cook! So expect some good house dinners!! We are not your "hide in your room" kind of couple but we also respect peoples need for down time!
Hello there! Born in Melbourne, eastern european background. I love a laugh, a genuine chat and appreciate a healthy lifestyle. I love listening to music, feel good vibes and going to the beach (walking Mala, sunshine & outdoors) balance is key! Social, caring, down to earth personality and enjoy exploring new places and learning. I'm passionate about living with purpose and intention with interests in heath, wellbeing, fitness (love my daily work outs), quality nutrition, self development, cultures, travel, sustainability, humanities, entrepreneurship and curiosity for all things creative such as styling, design (studied Graphic Design), art, photography, film, artistic culture and music (basically anything that makes me feel good, inspired, positive & happy!) I also enjoy a red wine and a selective night out now and then, summer time being my favourite season to be out and about. I'm not a party animal (past tense) but I do like to socialise and party on occasion and in moderation to see my favourite djs visit Australia - love seeing selective live music and festivals. I also enjoy cooking, going out for dinner, healthy brunches, dancing, hanging out with friends, going to galleries and other fun stuff. I work in the Arts part time and I work a second job part time which means I am pretty busy, which is fabulous if you love your own space. Stable income, good work ethic and pride in my morals, values (kindness and integrity are favourable), genuine, loyal and honest. I am ambitious, reliable and responsible, compassionate, spontaneous and adventurous, warm natured and open minded. Looking for a clean, peaceful environment to share with respect for other peoples space. I appreciate a clean bathroom and kitchen. I am well organised, VERY tidy, super clean and enjoy's unwinding "me" chill time (introvert & extrovert qualities) and would love a respectful safe place to retreat and feel relaxed in. I have an 8 year old small dog named Mala, she is very sweet, affectionate, smart, house trained and super loving! (I promise she will melt your heart). She will most likely be staying a few nights in between her current home and new home depending on the some weeks, subject to change. Seeking a beautiful place to call home with cool people, with similar attributes. I value driven people who think outside the box, anything more than that is a blessing and bonus. Please get in touch :)

Just moved to Melbourne, have a bar job, looking for cool people to have fun and live large with. I want good vibes, cool people who wanna go to the park and bars and share!! I'm awesome, you're awesome. let's go
I keep to myself most of the time, and I'm very quiet. I like to keep my socialising time and my study time very separate. This makes me get along with other dedicated students very well. I'm pretty open too. There's probably no degree of weirdness I'd be uncomfortable with. So long as I can maintain my grades and have fun I'm happy.
Hello fun loving friends! Me and my sister Jess are looking for a fun housemate! We have both come off the tail end of a break up super positively and are looking for someone with high energy to live with while we get back to living again! We are looking for a team up to get at least a 3 bedroom place, as they are much nicer and have good outdoor spaces for me to fit my bbq and outdoor furniture. I have all of the furniture to furnish a place (apart from your room) so just needing to meet the right person! Jess will only be at the house Monday to Friday so I am looking to meet someone that can be a friend as well. I am a bit of a party person and would be cool to have groups of friends over, but maybe every second weekend :) About us - We are quite similar both happy and outgoing. Very much dags, loves a dad joke and a pun. Both originally from the country, working full time and don't know too many people around here. If you think you would like to meet us and sounds like a good fit please message me :) St Kilda is ideal preference or something within walking distance to both chapel and fitzroy st :)

Hey! I'm a full-time commerce student at the University of Melbourne, graduating next year. I work part-time to support myself, and my hobbies include cooking, exercise, exploring the outdoors and photography. I love keeping busy and getting out and about! I'm friendly and sociable, love a chat after work/uni and dinner & drinks over the weekend. I do also appreciate time to myself and am very respectful of others' space. As a housemate, I'm trustworthy, reliable, considerate, and very tidy. Finally, I have a 1 y.o. ragdoll cat - she's 100% housetrained & indoors, and she is such a little charmer! :) She has co-existed with a (big) dog in the past with no issues. Looking for a longer-term stay only (6+ months) and am flexible as to when I move - but early January at latest! Reach out if you're interested in catching up and chatting more. Cheers! :)
Hi! Im Alison. Im looking for a share house between Port Melbourne and St Kilda. I work full time in finance (risk management) in the CBD. I love nature and getting outdoors. In summer you'll find me cycling, powerwalking or hitting gym sessions. I love the South Melbourne market for fresh produce and enjoy cooking up new things. Although I try for a healthy lifestyle I dont mind a casual drink or lattes when catching up with friends. I love travelling especially to tropical locations to lay in the sun, swim and relax with a cocktail. I work hard and rest hard!! I am very friendly, easy going and enjoy a shared meal and a chat. I like housemates that are easy going and up for a social interaction too. Im not a clean freak but I do like to keep things tidy. I generally clean on weekends when I have a bit more time.
