I work in hospitality, and am a neat, friendly and social person. I have lived in a share house before, so I understand the balance of socialising and having private space in this situation. I was also good at paying bills and rent on time, so no worries there! I have lived my entire life in Western Australia, and like to sing, read, eat out, go to quiz nights and socialise.
Ok so here is the long and the skinny. The room, - 3m x 3m - BIR - Window to outside world - Door to access for mentioned outside world - 1x standard issue light to give you the ability to see in the dark. The house. - 2 Living areas - 1 Kitchen - 1 fully functioning cocktail bar with draught beer/cider - 1 spot that will fit your automobile that can also be called a curb. - 1 shared bathroom with a 1 member of each sex - 1 dedicated "girls toilet" meaning the seat will always be down. - 1 outdoor entertaining area - Possibility of pets as we do often foster dogs etc so not being allergic to animals is in your best interest - Netflix, and Stan Enough said - unlimited wifi and bills etc included The current occupants - Shops spitting distance assuming you can spit 80m round a corner Very laid back and easy going. Not looking for drama. Strong believer in choosing the housemates over the house as you never want to feel unwelcome in your own home. Photos are being updated atm from the original empty photos. Changing of furniture as some is being replaced etc. There is a dog so if you're a dog person and not willing to know how dog houses work then... well.. its not going to work. FIFO welcome and can do a deal on the bills when away depending on roster. Currently furnished for $185 or can be unfurnished for $175 Prefer a girl just to even the balance and to help make things pretty. Heya! I'm Shannon, currently studying full time at Curtin Uni. I have two jobs, one at a theme park and one at a restaurant and am usually quite busy. I like to bake, travel, read, watch movies and shows, have a drink with friends and play sport. I am a tidy person and clean up after myself. I am friendly and love having a chat with people, but I also like my own space at times. I am easy-going, considerate and respectful of other people's space. Looking to move out to be closer to work and uni.
Hello, my name is Zoe. I work at a pet shop casually which means I love animals. In my spare time I like to read and play games. I am looking for a place to relax while I am at university but somewhere that will be affordable and will offer me some privacy as well.
Reduced. All bills included, fully furnished, peaceful, good value. We have a nice room to offer now. The bathroom is a shared female only bathroom. The room is large in size, with a Queen bed, private and comfortable, fully furnished including linen and electric blanket for winter, bedside drawers and lamps, desk and office chair, built-in wardrobe, key lock door, and a self programmable safe for valuables (laptop size). It has ducted heating for winter and cooling for summer. The WiFi is unlimited and fast NBN (fastest speed in Australia). The house has spacious living areas for you to spread out and relax, modern furniture, two dining areas, two lounge areas, a fully equipped kitchen and is always clean and tidy. Cleaning of common areas is provided. We are friendly and easy to chat with, but also respect your privacy and quiet times. The house environment is very safe, stable and private, so you can be assured to have a peaceful stay. It is also a quiet place and is study, relaxation and sleep conducive. The home is well situated with good public transport links, direct buses to Curtin Uni and Canning Bridge train station every 5 minutes in peak hours (bus stop 1 minute walk), a direct bus from the city stops on the driveway, easy access to the freeway, and a new bicycle which you can use. If you don't have a car, we'll be happy to take you grocery shopping 😊. Manning is a safe suburb but the house has additional security features: CCTV system for the outsides, alarm and a video intercom for the front door. This place is close to a library, a few different parks, an easy walk to the river, Waterford Plaza (1 km), and also Manning shops (600m). We offer an exceptionally peaceful home environment... but it will not suit people with a lot of furniture or pets (really sorry). Any questions? Feel free to ask. Secure and Private room Safe, clean and tidy house Peaceful and quiet place More photos available on request Suitable for someone who wants to feel at home.
I'm an employed 28 year-old engineer who relocated permanently to Perth from Malaysia last November. Have lived with my current housemate for almost a year now with no problem as I am easy-going, considerate, respectful, neat and tidy. She can attest to that :) I'm moving because she will be moving back to Bunbury with her husband once the lease ends. I believe in the saying 'Don't do to others what you don't want to be done to you', hence I appreciate sincerity and honesty. I enjoy video games (have a PS4 but don't worry I will not fight for the TV as I have my own), going on amazing road trips, beaches, coffee-hunting, keeping fit and planning to take up guitar in due time (I promise to keep it quiet!!). I'm open to different adventures and activities as I'm excited to explore this beautiful new place I'll be living in for awhile. Though I am always down for adventures or night-outs, I also enjoy a quiet night in with movies and respect personal space. Not a FIFO but my work occasionally requires me to go offshore 1-2 weeks at a time. I'm looking for a room with a budget of 160-170pw (no bills included) or 180-200pw (bills included). Room doesn't have to be furnished as again, I have my own furnitures but preferably with good-sized BIR and able to fit queen size bed, a desk and bookshelf/ dresser (I might have to choose between the two :( if it doesn't fit). And sorry, I would prefer only females but couples excepted.
I am from Singapore and I will be starting my study at Curtin University coming February. In my home, I'd have to share most of the utilities in our apartment with five of my family members (and a cat, haha). Hence, I can say that I am good at compromising and sharing. I am also a tidy person. I might be shy at first but I'm fun once I am comfortable. I respect people's privacy and I will be a considerate roommate. I love animals and I work with animals in Singapore. I would prefer to share the house with girls or a mix of girls and guys.
Heyy guys , I’m an international student originally from Sri Lanka who’s working partime and also doing an internship in engineering field.. I studied electrical engineering and looking for a job from that field. I’m a person who prefer a clean neat and tidy house with friendly housemates.. I prefer if the place is less noisy and definitely not a party animal... I prefer studying during the night time so I might be awake till late night and usually talk to my parents during the night time too .. I love watching movie and reading and also cooking and I prefer a very clean kitchen and bathroom importantly.. Thank you
Hi, my girlfriend and I are looking to move in with each other into a sharehouse for the first semester of 2019. Mim will be in her 3rd year of public health at UWA and I will be in my 2nd year of Engineering at Curtin so looking for a place in between but South of the river. Looking for a place that has preferably student housemates that are more laid back, would like to have friends over occasionally and not have to fight over using someone else cooking implements 😂. We both like to have fun but respect other people's property and space. We'd preferably like to get a place that has a separate space for studying so we don't drive each other crazy with our different study habits. We are both from regional Australia and want to be able to get on with our roommates, not just see each other once a month when we run into each other in the kitchen 😂. Mim gyms and plays netball and I play soccer at Curtin along with playing trombone in a community band. I believe in prioritizing good roommates before the place but it's still a major factor, so it'll be nice to meet you 😊.
I am a 20 year old social work student. I am clean and tidy and am not big on partying. I have a great group of friends who enjoy board game/dinner nights at home. I am really easy going and social but definitely love my own space as well. Originally from down south so occasionally go home to visit my family. I have been living on campus at Uni for this first year but am looking to move into a house. Looking to move at the start of next year-Thanks! (Ps my name is pronounced like Elisha)
I am a student at Curtin University studying psychology in my second year, starting my third next year. I am a sociable person who loves to have a good chat and is respectful of others. I love to go out and have a drink with friends (gay clubs are my favourite though). I am originally from Bunbury so I kinda love how big Perth is and would love to explore more of it. I am looking for a place with people that are similar to me where we respect eachother and our space but still enjoy living together. I was previously living in Curtin University on-campus residence and I am looking for something a bit more quiet this time around.
So a bit about myself; my name is Vanny, I’m 33 years old and work full time as a real estate photographer/videographer for various agencies in Perth. I’m originally from Sydney, lived in Canberra for the last 6 years and recently moved to Perth 6 months ago. I’ve yet to venture out to see what this place has to offer but really looking forward to seeing some of the beaches in WA. There aren’t too many beaches in Canberra….and by that I mean zero beaches. Grew up with dogs so don’t mind living with someone who owns a dog or 2 so long as I get to pat and play with them as well. I consider myself a clean and tidy person; during the course of my work I get to visit some immaculately presented homes, so I’ve gained an appreciation for a well kept house and gladly help out with the chores around the home.
I will be moving into this house on the 9/12/18. The photos that I have uploaded are from the current tenant. I will be taking some updated photos with different furniture and what not as soon as I get myself sorted. The house is air-conditioned and has a newly renovated kitchen. The bedrooms are quite large with built in wardrobes. The house is straight of leach why with easy access to fwy and busses
Very happy home, very comfortable, very safe. Large for 2 people. Just right for small family. Semi furnished. Beds 1 queen bed, 1 single, writing desk in back verandah, 6 chair dining table, , double sofa in large sitting room, large entertainment area.
This is a beautifully renovated older home, with large rooms and jarrah floors. Most of the rooms have built in robes, and there is plenty of space throughout the house including lounge, dining, and games rooms, and a huge under cover area out back. Walking distance to Curtin Uni and Waterford plaza. Easy freeway access. Short bus ride to Carousel shopping centre.
