Quiet and cheap considering everything is included in rent.
We are close to the city yet private and quiet, close to the bush and native birds and animals. You can often see wedge-tailed eagles on the property and there are wallabies every morning and evening. The views are also stunning. This is a quiet and peaceful home with nice furnishings and ambiance. The owner is nice too! Netflix, new TV, WiFi, en-suite, warm and comfortable home.
I’m friendly, tidy and clean up free myself. I like a chat, enjoy cooking and a good coffee. I’m abit of a nerd and also have my own small IT Busines doing web hosting and web design that I’ve run since 2005. I have 2 children (10m & 7m) who attend Blackman’s Bay Primary where I’ll be volunteering and wishing to stay resonably close to them. I’m not looking for a room to house myself not my children.
Quiet property with lots of space and friendly neighbours. Big deck for lots of relaxing. Heat pump in winter keeps it cozy, too :)
Hi, I am Alex who was a store manager but going to study translating in Hobart from 26th of February. That is the reason why I'm looking for a private room in the shared house. I'm a very friendly, good-natured person and extremely easy to get along with. Would like to have a couple of drink during the weekend night and chat with my friends. I enjoy outdoor activities, sports and going to the gym.
Hi, I'm leaving my current house anytime before March 1st and would either like to join an established share house or apply for 2 bedroom places with 1 other person anywhere from Margate to New Town. (NB: I have lovely old male cat). I am open-minded, green-minded, in my 40s, love music, like questioning the status quo, and care about people and the world we live in :-). Would live with more than 1 person in right house, but if getting new place prefer just one.
Organized.. tidy and friendly room mate who respects others privacy as well..
Hi! Moving to Tassie at the end of February. Will be here for a minimum of 6 months.. hopefully more. Looking for a medium sized bedroom in a share house. I study (almost) full-time and work part time (ESL teaching & hospo). Outdoors often - I have a van so very, very likely the days I have off will be spent in the mountains or on the coast. Chilled and clean housemate. Cheers :)
We are both pretty relaxed and love the outdoors and the environment. We have lived in a few share houses in our time, so we know to be respectful, considerate and tidy. Our dog Otis (Kelpie) is 3 years old and is both indoor and outdoor trained. He has a gentle nature and is great with all people and other animals too. We both love all sorts of music, especially while relaxing with a cuppa listening to vinyl. Our weekends usually consist of bushwalks, looking for native flowers, attempting to boulder/rock climb, hanging out with family and friends, occasional movie marathons, yoga and crafternoons. I will be studying Natural Environments & Wilderness Studies at UTAS and Caitlyn works full-time as a Park Ranger. We usually spend our afternoons taking Otis to the park/beach or exploring natural areas. In the evenings we like to relax at home, cook dinner and relax with the occasional board game, crafternoon or movie. We are open to finding a place with some new people and making a home for us all or renting a room in a share house. Please feel free to send a message our way. Cait, Sax and Otis.
Just relocated to Tassie from SA with my awesome Belgian Shepherd.
Hi I'm a mature single female; a quiet respectful & responsible individual, both social & independent by nature with a good sense of humour and a clean abstract. A good housekeeper, non-smoker & reasonably decent gardener, I enjoy having family pets around (although I don't have any), cooking, small craft projects & walking. Seeking a house sharing arrangement with like minded individual. Prefer Kingborough or Channel area (flexible).
I am looking for a room either for me (female 24) or for a couple. I will be moving down to Hobart from Sydney in the next month or so. My interests include bushwalking, folk singing (I play banjo and mountain dulcimer) and darkroom photography. I don’t drink or smoke.
Clean tidy and responsible and respectful mid 40s professional well educated pesron.
Hi there! I've been living in my current place in Sandy Bay for about three years but unfortunately my landlord is selling place so I have to move out. I'm originally from New Zealand but Hobart's been my home for a long time now. I like to fix up old bicycles, and I volunteer at the Hobart Bike Kitchen when I'm not working in the city. I love music, and have done since I began listening to my brother's vinyl collection in the 70s and I'm still onto something new every month. I've been involved with the Wilderness Society for a few years now and help out where I can. When I'm at home I like to fix bicycles (did I mention bicycles?!), read sci-fi books, go mountain biking with my friends or go for walks. I'm pretty handy about the house and happy to repair things as I go. I tend to eat out, so I don't use the kitchen and I always tidy up after myself. I respect my housemates' personal space and their privacy, but I like a chat as well. I pay all my bills on time and pay my rent like clockwork. All in all, I'm pretty low maintenance :) I'm looking for something with easy access to the city on a bike or bus, between $180 and 220, depending on the place. Looking forward to meeting you!
Hardworking, very sociable and respectful

Hi my names Mat I’m an electrician from country Vic. Working at the Hobart hospital redevelopment and looking for a place ideally that I can walk to work from. When I’m not working I enjoy sports, weekends away, camping and hiking, catching up with friends. I’m great to live with because I’m quiet around the house in the mornings, respectful of housemates things and space, keep common areas clean, pay bills on time, always up for a chat, beer/wine or a Netflix binge and have a positive outlook. Non smoker, love pets and don’t mind doing the lawns/gardening.
Matt and I have recently moved to Tassie and are looking for a pup friendly home for ourselves and our handsome boy Cosmo. We are both friendly but not party animals. We enjoy watching Netflix, playing PC games and going on small hikes with Cosmo. We don't mind the occasional board game either. We are very tidy and ensure to keep a clean living space. Cosmo is a cattledog x staffy (x kelpie?) who is 3 years old and very cuddly and well behaved. You would need to really like pups as he is super affectionate and it may annoy someone who doesn't like pups. Matt is going to study Nursing this year and is currently looking for part-time / casual work. Lily is working full-time in retail currently so is mainly just home at night and on the weekends. Enjoys creating art, cooking tasty vegan snacks, gardening and buying plants. We would ideally like to do a team up with another person or couple with similar interests. Please get in touch if you think we could team up as we have found an amazing home in Lenah Valley.
Heya, I'm a 23 yo Female, recently moved to Hobart (from gold coast, queensland). I work part time and planning to study at UTAS. I like hiking, being active, health and wellness and keeping myself busy. I'm pretty easy to live with, like to keep the house clean and love to cook :)
I'm currently struggling with my current situation, and I'm looking to move out so I can find a job and move on with my life. And am looking for some lovely, kind people to make this happen with! As for myself, I spend as much of my time out with my friends as I can (I rarely drink, and if I do it's responsibly) And what other down time I have I spend drawing, playing video games or providing emotional support to those in need. :)
