About the property

We’re looking for one person to join us in our spacious renovated 2 story Queenslander in Kelvin Grove! Our house has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen, 2 living areas, air-conditioning throughout, a massive back deck with an incredible view, a great backyard, a lock-up garage, heaps of street parking, and 3 great housemates!

The room for rent has great natural light, a en-suite with bath and shower, and a huge walk-in wardrobe.

We’re looking for someone to join us ASAP as unfortunately our wonderful housemate Sophie has to leave us soon. Bills are paid in addition to rent and include electricity, gas, water, and NBN internet. Bond is $851.25 and lodged with the RTA. The current lease ends in August and will likely be renewed.

About the flatmates

The Housemates:

Sophie hails from Brisbane but moved to England when she was five, and she recently escaped London’s lockdowns to enjoy sunny QLD. She now works in HR on Eagle Street and is also studying for HR practicing certification. Her Dad was a Wallaby and although she unfortunately didn’t inherit his ability to run into people really fast she maintains a competitive edge in drinking wine and stealing people’s dogs, which you can find her doing most weekends.

Nick coincidentally also left Australia for England at the age of five but somehow managed to balance a life of being a posh Oxford lad with coming back to be a proper stockman for a few months every year. He’s now an environmental scientist that also works on Eagle St. On the weekends you can find him enjoying some wine, sailing, or enjoying a jaunt back at the family farm (which you can receive an invite to if you play your cards right).

Donal joins us from Townsville and currently works as a fly-in-fly-out engineer (he's very handy for fixing up machinery and appliances). His week-on-week-off roster means that he's only with us for half the time, but when he is he's great to be around and enjoys going out for a casual drink and having adventures.
