About the property
In a word, we are looking for introverts. If lockdowns didn't really change your life and you enjoy quietly reading and relaxing, then you are our kind of people. This is not a party house, it's a sanctuary away from busy lives where we recharge before taking on the world again.
The house is in a peaceful neighbourhood, backs onto a quiet park, and has lush tropical and native gardens. Think relaxing oasis with birds singing every morning.
The available private room has an ensuite bathroom, separate entrance, and is furnished with a queen bed, bedside table, small desk, chair, shelves, built-in robes, and TV wall mount.
All bills are included, the house is fully furnished and equipped, and we have a weekly cleaner for the common areas.
We like to recycle and even have an extra bin for bottles/cans with deposits that are donated to a local charity. We also recently started composting our organic waste to create soil for the garden.
The large house spans three levels on a split-level block. There are two bedrooms on each of the first two floors (four tenants in total).
The owners (a couple) live separately on the third floor with their own lounge and kitchen and generally keep to themselves, but sometimes share use of the common areas such as pool and BBQ.
Our ideal housemate would be a working professional in their late 20s to early 40s. Sorry but no live-in couples, pets, smokers, or heavy drinkers. The house has a cat and the owners occasionally dog-sit for close friends.
