You'll need to be working, trustworthy, easy going and like dogs. The dogs are and can be confined to the front or back yards for necessitity and time out. My house is dated but comfortable for two adults to have space. You'll be living in semi-rural setting, 5 minutes from CBD with private gardens, 2 decks, undercover spa, BBQ and fire-pot area. Bush on 2 sides. Shared communial areas, kitchen, dining room. Your rooms will comprise of bedroom with ensuite and a second small bedroom up 5 stairs. There is underfloor heating in larger room which can be used as lounge. TV outlet. You'll have to pay for this heating. Or, bring you're own heating and cooling. Your rent will include power, water, wood and internet. Off-street parking if you start work before 9am. I do have a queen bed ensemble if needed. No couples.
Beautiful spacious room with built in wardrobes and a little attached sun room with great views. Looking for someone to to stay for a minimum of 3 months. Internet is $60 per month (usually divided between four tenants) and the power bill comes quarterly with cost bepending on how much power we've used. Unfurnished room but the rest of the house has appliances and things such as fridge, washing machine, etc. Five minutes walk to the LGH and 15 minutes into the city.
Trevallyn is a really lovely part of Launceston, my street is great (quiet, leafy green and with a really nice vibe) and my house is very cool! It's well kept and clean, light, bright and with an awesome verandah. There are three bedrooms; I'm in one of them, the second one is waiting for a housemate, and the third is just being used for storage at the moment. The kitchen is super modern and well appointed and big (which is funny really, since I'm not much of a cook). The back yard is really enormous. It's rambling and overgrown, which I will be getting on top of at some point. I've just put in a veggie garden and will be getting chooks in the new year. The room for rent is on the small side but has brand spanking new carpet, freshly painted inbuilt wardrobes and a double bed.

The house has open planned living with a modern kitchen and bathroom but maintaining the character and charm of the one hundred year old home that it is. The kitchen is fully equipped as is the house. The house has a a lovely sunny sunroom, well maintained gardens, and some off street parking. There is a BBQ and outdoor setting on a lovely patio for your use. On offer is the Master bedroom with queen size bed, tall boy, desk, chair, bookshelf, hanging rack and a reverse cycle air conditioner. It is a well lit room with windows on two walls. $165 per week includes all your bills paid for you plus access to unlimited internet, and netflix. The second room is a self-contained unit. It has a kitchenette for meals, and private shower and sink (no sharing other's mess). The room comes with a tall boy, king single bed, desk chair, bedside table, microwave, cooktop, general kitchen items and has windows in two directions which are private and yet fill the room with light. It is a short walk to the toilet in the main house and you have access to all the house facilities. This room allows for a level of privacy hard to find in this price range. $135 per week which again includes internet and netflix.
The house is on the West Tamar Highway and is an easy, 20 minute walk from the CBD. It is also very close to the Cataract Gorge entrance, and has bus stops directly outside the house. The rooms are spacious, with plenty of natural light, and the available bedroom is quite large with heaps of built-in storage space and has been furnished with a brand new double bed. The house also has air-con/heat pump, which is very low cost to run. As far as costs, no bond payment is required, but you will be asked to pay rent two weeks in advance. Internet is included in the rent, and other costs are to be shared between the two of us.
