Hello, my name is Kirra, I am 20 years old and I have just moved down to Newcastle from Townsville, NQ. I have lived on my own for 2 years now and I am very clean, look after myself, I like to stay very active and I am very easy going and social. I have a beautiful little cat named Bailey, she is very well behaved, makes little to no mess (only her hair) and is very good with other animals, especially dogs.
I'm clean, tidy, active, healthy, quiet, great cook, good sense of humour, intelligent, animal and nature lover, avid reader, adventurous, independent, trustworthy, honest. My home environment is very important to me - peaceful, harmonious. Not looking for entertainment. I can make my own. I have been a soul-parent for 25 years and am now taking a new direction on my life's journey. I have a small dog - clean, well behaved, house trained, intelligent, good fun and great company! I love gardening, the great outdoors, walking, exploring new places, intelligent company, great conversation and the occasional glass of a good red!

Welcome to our amazing little hub of Newcastle East!! Probably as good as you can get if you are looking for a central location at an AMAZING price. You will enjoy a 5 min walk to Nobby’s Beach, 10 minute walk to Queens Wharf and the Hunter St Mall just around the corner. Our courtyard is a ripper in summer for casual Sunday arvos in the sun or a few cheeky bevs at dusk. Aside from this, you get to live with two easy going chicks who like to keep busy, work full time and enjoy their downtime as well. We do enjoy socialising and friends/guests are welcome round but we are NOT in a frat house; we like home to be a comfortable place for everyone to enjoy, and we like to keep it clean and tidy and have some peace and quiet too. That being said, everyone chips in around the house and pulls their weight with chores. We are all busy so it makes it easier if everyone helps out! If this sounds like a deal shoot us a message and we can organise a time to meet and for you to check out the place!
Our place is amazing in summer. Close to both Newcastle and Nobbies beach and all of East End. Parking is not an issue and the place is quite hidden away. The girls you are living with work full time, clean, tidy and like to all get in together to get the house work done. We like to socialise on weekends sometimes but like quiet time too.
Fully-furnished room in Harbour-front apartment, available for a mature person (35 years +). Sharing a three bedroom dwelling with 2 x full-time females. Double bed. The bedroom on offer has windows and a sliding glass door onto the main verandah which boasts the amazing view shown in the photo. The room has a built in mirrored wardrobe. It comes with a single, underground (secure) car park. The apartment is tastefully-furnished. Lounge room has a large flat screen TV. Main bedroom has an ensuite, so your bathroom is shared with one other female flatmate. Kitchen has a dishwasher. There is a lift to the apartment (from the foyer) and the complex has a pool. It is situated between Queens Wharf Brewery and the Crowne Plaza – a short walk to Darby Street and harbourside eateries. A great lifestyle. Most residents in the complex are owners – so it is not a party zone. The only house rules are: Rent paid on time, an expectation of mutual respect for each other’s privacy and property, and keep common areas clean and tidy. Usual house share arrangements in relation to food and electricity. Bond: 2 weeks rent.
Hi, I am 22 years old and from Europe (Austria). Back at home, I study law and currently, I am on exchange here in lovely Newcastle. Since I really got to like the city, I managed to find a supervisor at my home uni who agreed to let me write it from here. Thus, I can extend my stay for another semester (or actually three months from September - December). As Austrian, I love skiing (which apparently wasn't my main reason to come to Australia) and drinking beer. Usually, I am always engaged with something (going to the gym, doing stuff with friends, going out or studying at uni). So, mainly I am not really a person to spend a lot of time inside my accommodation. However, I am happy to chat (and have a beer) whenever there's time with my flatmates!
I’m a grown up female woman. I will more than happily clean, I cook and I like to keep a safe, harmonious and quiet during the week environment to co- exsist in. I work weekends but I totally understand everyone has to have fun! I am an English and writing Major at uni and I ride a bike so I don’t need a parking space. I work in town so ideally would like somewhere close to that if I can.
I’m fun, social, don’t like conflict, can cook amazing food :)), love in nights with movies and snacks, will talk your ear off about conspiracy theories (to an extent) ;)), if you have animals I will most likely become emotionally attached to them (sorry in advance) ;)), tidy and very organised, and an all round good person :)).
Hi, I'm Lily. I am currently studying Visual Arts at Hunter Street tafe, Newcastle. When I'm not studying, I am working part-time for a small business in Maitland. Although I am only 18, I work hard at all that I do. Therefore my bills will always be paid on time. I always enjoy hanging out with friends, making art and wholefoods cooking (I'll always clean up after myself). I'm a very independent but communal living person. I am tidy and friendly and I will respect your space. I would love to find a place to live in Newcastle East or around that area, where I can be close to friends, the beach and, Tafe!
Hey guys and gals, I'm a 23-year-old graphic designer who's **moving to Newy mid-July** for a new (full-time) job. I'm moving from Melbourne because it's bloody cold here in winter and having grown up around the coastal areas of Kangaroo Island and Adelaide, I miss being near the beach. I like to keep busy doing fun things i.e. cooking, surfing, skating, exploring and having a yarn over a few drinks when not at work, and like to keep fit by going for a run/doing gym classes etc. I'm easygoing, clean, tidy, and a non-smoker, and would like to live with people who are too :) At the moment I live with an advertising creative, a nurse and an occupational therapist (all guys), so I'm used to a household with varying schedules. I currently work at a nursery - of the horticulture variety - as well as a graphic designer, and would love a bit of a backyard to garden/grow food, but am also happy to go without and just fill the house with my extensive plant collection. Happy to live with a fair range of age groups–most of my friends and my three housemates here are in their mid-late 20s or early 30s–in the Newcastle area. Ideally, I'd like to move into an existing house to make the move easier, and I've got no qualms about signing onto a lease if necessary. Would love to have a Skype meet and greet if you think I sound like someone you'd be keen to have around (can provide endorsements from biased friends and current housemates). I'll be house-sitting in Newcastle from the 16th of July until the 5th August, so will be around from then to meet people and look at rooms/houses etc.
Hi Future Flatmates!, I’m moving to Newcastle to finish off my medical degree at the John Hunter Hospital. If all goes to plan I should graduate at the end of 2019, so I’m looking for a place I could possibly stay for the next 18 months, or at least until the end of this year. I am on exchange in Bergen, Norway at the moment, which has been amazing!, but also means that I won't be free to meet-up in person until the 19th June, however I am able to skype and meet-up beforehand as well. For some more information about me: I’ve spent the first three years of my degree studying up in Armidale, NSW and so I’m really looking forward to living near the beach soon! Apart from that I love being outdoors, staying active and trying to new places to eat (I’m a vegetarian). I’m also easy going; and a very clean and tidy flatmate. This will be my first time living in Newcastle, so I am definitely not just looking for a room to live in I hoping to make friends. It would be great if you could show me around to all of the best places in Newy. If you have any more questions just let me know. Looking forward to your response!
