Moving to Brisbane from Toowoomba. Transferring to my job, which starts on the 1st of April so trying to find a established place that I can fit in nicely. I'm able to keep to myself, but I like being social as well. Not a huge drinker or partier but do enjoy the occasional drink. I don't smoke and am relatively tidy. Will be working full time Monday to Friday.

This is an amazing super affordable sweet home for international students who love quiet study time bit away from the chaos and panic from the uni. It is located just 10 minutes train ride from the Indooroopilly Station; Indooroopilly is roughly 12 minutes from UQ. So, it is super convenient and very affordable quality home for UQ for international students and also for those who are on Working Holidays visa. The room is spacious and contains large wardrobe, drawers, desk, office chair and ceiling fan and is nicely decorated with paintings. Windows has screens and double curtains. It is on a split level away from the living area so is private and quiet. The adjoining bathroom and separate toilet is mostly used by just one other person and guests. The same level has a separate, clean laundry/ ironing room with a new super quiet washing machine. Kitchen is fully equipped with high quality appliances including double door fridge and huge refrigerator side. Just bring yourself and your personal use items to stay. The situation of this property is so convenient with all amenities you need that can be reached in 3-10 minutes: several big shopping centers, cafes, restaurants, and businesses as well as train and bus service within walking distance. City is just about 20 minutes single train ride away. It is a modern house, located on a small hill from where you can see sun rise and sun set. Just around the corner are Organic farm, horse paddock, jungle walk and a hiking path way that leads to a large park with water features. It is situated in a quiet peaceful and safe community/ street. Neighbors are super quiet and respectful. The train station is just a short stroll from the house, and the trains are very frequently during the day; every 5-10 minutes during peak hours. So transport is super easy to go to UQ, Toowong, City, Inala, Ipswich or anywhere. The bus station is five minutes away. There are 4 shopping centers just within 3-8 minutes, and Asian groceries, Vietnamese market and even DFO within less than 10 minutes. A private Hospital, doctors, chemists, physio, pathology, shopping centers including most popular Austarlian shops Aldi, Woolworths, Coles, and many cafes, a post office, office works, and restaurants all so close make this place so unique and awesome in terms of convenience, peace, healthy outdoors and recreation. We also have secure backyard garden and new BBQ to enjoy. This modern house has air conditioners and ceiling fans fitted in all bedrooms and in the lounge. This is an ideal location for a student who loves a quiet environment, outdoors, nature, and a comfortable living as well as easy access to UNI and shops to balance their study, work and outdoor recreation. Unlimited Telstra Internet is already included in the rent. So you just have to pay extra for electricity and water which is just about an extra 10 dollars.

You will get a beautiful pool, trees and a great outdoor area. Netflix, air con in the living area which feeds through to the bedrooms if needed. Fans in good size bedrooms, both with built in wardrobes you have two unfurnished rooms to choose from, large windows, a great bathroom, fully equipped kitchen except for your own cooking utensils as I am the vegetarian. I make some mean dishes which I love to share. You get a park out back, a river and bush walks, shops and gym are walking distance away. The bus to city is literally a 2 mins walk. r.A really great place to live , so if you haven't thought of Jindalee because you think it is a long way out, then think again and come and look. It is 10 mins from Indooroopilly and 20 mins to the city.... Oh yes, electricity is the only bill as there is solar hot water and no excess water charges.
Looking for a place to live
Hi! My name is Jeremey I am 24 years old. I work full time as construction supervisor 6 days a week mostly. Which means I am barely home. If I'm not at work I am out training, rugby, calestics running etc...hanging with friends and family. I don't mind a good old yarn i am a good listener hahaha I'm also a very easy going person I like to be clean and tidy and i am always willing to help out with whatever. Also don't mind a cheeky beverage;) and social gatherings
Oh hey! I am an open-minded, fun, authentic and reliable 24yo who is looking for a new place to kick back. I would describe myself as easy to get along with - I can appreciate my alone time (and yours), as well as a clean living space, but also love a bit of banter and am not opposed to the odd night out. I would prefer to team with people who could be more of a friend than just a housemate, and it is important that a prospective housemate is open-minded and accepting of people from all walks of life. Swing me a message if you think we'd be a good match and would be interested in having a chat about a potential living sitch. Thank you, Millie.
Hi I'm Matt, friendly easygoing person that generally keeps to myself but also likes to socialize with some quiet drinks and good chats. I like playing a bit of xbox but also a very outdoors kind of person as well as a animal lover of all kinds.
Hello! My name is Tamra. I’m a full time teacher who isn’t home much during the week - I like to get up early Mon-Fri and make the most of a productive work day. On the weekends I will either be a complete couch potato or constantly busy. I have a little (and very well trained) dog who I’d love to be able to stay - if not full time maybe the occasional weekend. If it’s not possible that’s ok too. I’m vegan (happy to share with non vegans) and am passionate about the environment, music and yoga and wellness. I enjoy my own space but also like a friendly house-mate relationship to share a beer or wine with after work. I like to keep my space clean and minimal and could spruce up an area with indoor plants and candles 💕 *ideally I would have my own bathroom or predominantly mine (shared with guests occasionally fine).
Hi there! My name is Emily and I'm a friendly, social person who's looking for somewhere to move towards the end of March. I work full time as a customer relationship manager in West End so I'm looking to move somewhere within a 15-20 minute drive. Looking to find a place with fun, friendly people who don’t mind a chat after work and a couple drinks on the weekend 🙂
Friendly guy, single, self-employed commercial cleaner, non-smoker, rare social drinking and never to excess, law-abiding and respectful of people and maintain high-level of personal conduct and manners. Looking to co-share a residence which allows pets. I have an 8yr old border collie who is well trained, rarely barks and loves humans. I grew up in the country and love going for drives when work permits.
Professional, sensible, courteous, clean and responsible male. Just moved back to Brisbane and will be buying a house in the next 6 months but am looking to share or get my own place to rent while I settle back in and get used to Brissy again. Find our the best suburbs, cafes, restaurants and lifestyle here. I work out at the airport but don’t necessarily need to live that close to there. Have a small dog and do a lot of outdoors stuff in my downtime including in rescue ops on weekends. I have furniture and things in storage but ideally looking for something furnished however can get my furniture out of storage. Hope this helps Regards Sean
I’m a 23 year old female who works full time as a Beautician. I’m reliable and independent and am looking to flat with someone around Brisbane preferably not too far from the city. I have a female dog (boxer cross) and fortunately we are a package deal. I am sociable but also respectful of other people’s personal space. I would like to live in a positive environment where I could form friendships with the people/person I flat with as movies and pizza are right up there on the list of things I like to do.
You’ll have the good sized air conditioned master with en-suite and walk in robe at front of house so is separate to my room at back of house. There’s a great covered patio, well appointed kitchen open to dinning area also air conditioned. The loung is spacious and separate. Close to bus train and good shopping centre. Mt Ommaney shops are a 10 minute drive away. Beautiful parklands just over the road. All you’ll really need is a bed.
