Hi :-) I have a room for rent (incl food but must cook own meals)with own bathroom in return for 4-6 hours work 6 days a week in the beautiful country valley in Theresa Creek (20min west of Casino, sealed road). I am currently doing renovations and need a hand with things, it mainly is physical work like carrying timbers, laying pavers but also feed animals (horses, dogs and cat)if suitable. The house is on 14 acres. You must be an animal lover as I have 2 dogs, a cat and 5 horses, all very friendly. Short term only but maybe negotiable for the right person. (No smokers please) I'm looking forward to meeting you
Hi, I'm an Intern Doctor starting at Lismore Base Hospital in the coming weeks. I am looking for interim accommodation before I need to move offsite for a placement. I am quiet, will be very busy with work and trying to stay active and love to cook!
Hi, I'm Lucy. I'm 22 years old and moving to Lismore in January 2017 to start work as a registered nurse (which will involve shift work). I'm an easy-going and friendly individual and love the outdoors, games and sports (including netball and basketball), and socialising with others. Whilst I love social activities, I also appreciate quiet time when I can relax, have a cup of tea and read a book. I'm looking to move into a share house with several other people around a similar age, who are friendly and welcoming.
I have just reduced the price of this room from $210 to $190 to make it more affordable. The room is a good size and has two windows which get the lovely morning sun (so cooler in Summer) and breeze from the river. There is a ceiling fan and queen sized bed. Unlimited wifi, electricity, water and yard maintenance are included in the rent. The house is newly renovated so everything is fresh and clean and has polished wood floors. The lounge has a reverse cycle aircon. There is also storage under house if needed and off street parking. Outside smoking is fine. I have a little cat called Pequena. There is also a sleepout room which we can share for guests or whatever and is cool and breezy in the arvos. The house is about a 7 minute walk to the heart of town, close to shops and public transport. I hold the lease so you would not be on the lease but I require references and normal lease terms to be agreed upon. The expectations are just normal good manners, open communication about house issues and rent paid on time. If you would like to bring your own furniture I can remove the furnishings from the room. I have just bought a little plunge pool to beat the heat! Look forward to meeting you and happy hunting.

THE LOCATION North Lismore, a creative hub for the Northern Rivers area, is one of the more colourful historic suburbs in the Lismore area, rich in character and charm. I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing.
I'm looking to find a long-term home at least a year or longer, if all works out well. I'm definitely into calm and quiet in my home environment. I'm not a party animal, although I do enjoy relating with people when it happens, and having thoughtful and thought-provoking conversations. But basically I'm quite self-contained, independent and enjoy being quiet. Re shared areas; - I believe I'm a very considerate, aware and respectful sharer of space. I leave the most minimal footprint possible and clean up as immediately as possible after creating food in the kitchen. As far as my life style/interests are concerned: I'm a teacher who recently retired from working with Indigenous adolescents in central Australia for several years, and before that in Wilcannia and northern NSW. I've just been accepted into a Dru Yoga Teacher Training course; I attend two Dru yoga classes a week. I'm a regular volunteer at the Northern Rivers Community Gallery in Ballina (one or two shifts a week) I'm a creative who delights in the aesthetic in all aspects of living. I'm a keen gardener and enjoy planting food, herbs and flowers. I love eating good food and cooking, particularly different ethnic foods. I guess if I were asked to encapsulate what I love and believe in, one word would have to be *diversity* and one concept would have to be *unity in diversity*. I'm a traveller and a seeker and always will be. Suffice it to say I can wax lyrical about things I feel passionate about, and act upon them as well.
