I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing.
Hey I'm Rach. Im a graduate paramedic and have been offered a full-time position in the northern NSW area so I'm looking for a magical place to move into. I love the beach, surfing, gigs, books, natural medicine and all things nature. I'm an easy going gal and love having a giggle. Much love x
It is quiet, in a new estate with elevated views and lots of trees in close view. The street is a dead end with about 12 houses. It is 5 kms from the centre of Murwillumbah, 5 mins by car, 20 by bike. It is fully furnished and includes double bed. Murwillumbah is a great little town with lots of fantastic cafes, restaurants, world class art gallery and art deco cinema, just 30 minutes from the Gold Coast Airport. The Gold Coast is between 30 mins (south GC) to an hour away from here. Brisbane 90 minutes on a clear run. Your name will put on the lease, which requires $50 payment to the agent to change the lease after the usual reference checks by the property manager (I am renting this place and am about to take out another 12 months lease). Definitely no smoker wanted and definitely no drugs - because of my work I can lose my rights to work in my profession if my house is found to have illicit drugs on the premises. There is a TV with free to air, but no cable TV. The internet plan has 150 gig per month of which I use little. You will have the use of the second bathroom, it is also used by visitors as the other bathroom requires going through my bedroom. I will pay all the bills which I estimate at around $80 per week for 2 adults Your $220 rent includes these and it will be your responsibility to pay this to the agent via an automatic direct debit. The lawns are maintained by the landlord, just some occasional weeding needed by us. Unfortunately there is not much storage space available apart from some cupboards in the hallway and the built in wardrobe in your room. Mobile phone reception is average. I am with iinet/Optus and get 2 of 5 bars. There are ceiling fans in every room, I have asked the landlord to put in an air conditioner.
Chinese-Australian background, moved interstate to attend university. Currently deferred from study, working as a post-office assistant. Looking for a peaceable shared apartment with reasonable access to public transport at an affordable price. Upfront clear disclosure of any additional inclusive (e.g. utilities, wi-fi, etc) costs would be very much appreciated.
I'm a full time apprentice chef, work 38+ a week. Very tight on budgeting as I earn a small amount. Recently separated. So in need of a place to stay asap. Would prefer is bills + internet were included. I'm a very nice young lady, I'm clean and respectful.
Love peace & quiet, respectful of others time & space, love nature, Soul Centred Astrologer, Author, teach Stillness Meditation in Murwillumbah every Monday, Healthy, Natural living (non smoker, non drinker)
What I am ideally looking for? i am after a 2 - 4 bedroom house in Murwillumbah on the edge of town, but not too far from the center. I intend to get the house, and are looking for one other to share. Might have 2nd bathroom but cant guarantee as I have not got the house yet. Will be furnished except for your room. Can possibly help a little if need be. Have reasonable furnishings and would like someone who likes a reasonably nice space. ME: Independant , easy going and don't take life too seriously. I work nearly full time plus have an internet business which takes up a lot of my time. I also manufacture cycling clothing on a small scale, so when I do have time, I like to ride my bike with friends, do a little gardening and would like to create my own vegy / herb patch. Love to make things out of timber. Love a laugh, and have a pretty warped sense of humor . I don't take life too serious and there is always someone else worse off. Have a cat who seems to run my life. He is Siamese and someone said that they talk. This one reads me the riot act and tests the boundaries of ones patience. Can run really fast when he has to! Has a god complex, but generally a nice little fellow. Other than all my idiosyncrasies, like a peaceful household. Work as a Registered Nurse, mainly night duty , enjoy the occasional wine with friends, zip down to Melbourne etc when I get the chance so aren't necessarily a dotty little old lady. Don't smoke and I'm not a vegan . What else do you want to know? Enjoy your day
I'm looking for somewhere clean, tidy, relaxed and friendly to call home for a while. I'm easy going, friendly and very tidy. I'm respectful of other people and expect the same in return. I'm looking for somewhere with a bit of my own space, however I don't have much furniture and ideally somewhere with a bed would be great, but ok if not. I have a secure income and also work for myself on the side as an artist for extra income. So I'm always pretty busy and would love a quiet place where I can just come home and relax.
Hi guys! I work part-time at Murwillumbah McDonalds and have been for the 3 years, I’m also studying at Southern Cross University studying Social Welfare as an external student. Looking for an unfurnished room, happy to share a bathroom. I’m very independent, I don’t smoke, like to have a casual drink but not but a heavy drinker. I’m easy going, respectful and tidy. I like having my own time but also like getting out meeting new people and trying new things. I’m happy to hang out and chat with friends/flatmates and have a drink, BBQ or movie night on weekends or week days after work. If you have any questions, I’m an open book and don’t hesitate to contact me :)
Hi! My name is Edge. I'm actually trying to help my Aunt at the moment, so I've created this profile on her behalf. She is retired/on a pension, however has financial backing and support from her two sons, and myself. About my Aunty Deb... She has 4 dogs and they are her life. I understand the difficulty in trying to find a place that will accept 4 dogs but they're little Maltese dogs and their of age (well past puppy stage). She's quiet and likes to keep to herself and spend time with her babies/her dogs! Please help me help her as she's struggling to find a place. Any dog lovers out there? Huge thanks in advance for your consideration. Edge
Hi, I am a clean, tidy, friendly, boundry-respecting person. I am looking for a cool, cruisy, clean, no drugs, non-alcho., place to live. I have a companion foster dog - she's not a digger or barker, she's a Bull Arab x Stumpy tail and basically a lounge lizard. I take her for walks on the beach daily - its good for her & me. I hope to be able to move my small (8'x4') camper trailer into your fenced yard & sleep in it with my foster dog, whom I am fastidious about cleaning up after her. I will contribute to rent, utilities (although, I don't need much electricity or the use of your wash. mach. or t.v., just the clothes line) & the upkeep / cleaning of the house and property. I am basically a chef and love to cook and create. I don't believe in bringing strangers to the home, esp. if I've not arranged any visitors with my flatmates first. Well, that about sums it up and hope to hear from you soon. I am not able to check my e-mails daily, so, if you don't mind I would appreciate it if you would be able to text / call me with any info. / negotiations to become flatmates. Thanks and have a blessed day. Janea Ph: zero,4,zero,8,six, three, double two, five, seven
HOUSE SHARE country peaceful and quiet surrounds, close to Murwillumbah; 30mins to Kingscliff. Beautiful walks, fishing available. Suits Professional clean, health minded private person. Own private bed/ bathroom. *Common share areas kitchen, laundry. Garden/yard maintenance optional help. *Work reference checks, provide ID, 4 weeks bond, share rent/power/water. Provide own internet.
Fairly new property. Close to town and transport services. Quiet neighbours. Air-conditioning in all rooms. There is a cleaning roster the person moving in will be expected to join in on. It rotates jobs so it's not 'un-fair' to any of the flatmates. Some of the flatmates are shift-workers so a little respect for when people are sleeping is expected. Not a party house / No parties. But friends are allowed over. Internet is really fast.
Such an amazing place to live! Directly behind us is a nature reserve and we are up on a hill with ocean views. It's a 2 minute drive down to amazing beaches...or you could ride your bike :). The bedrooms are super spacious and the house has an amazing feel about it from the second you walk in the door. Big open spaces for lounging, pool table for some fun, massive kitchen to create delicious delights and a huge backyard. We have a gym set up out in the shed with free weights and a squat rack. Front verandah with a hammock and day bed, perfect for those lazy afternoons or watching storms roll in over the ocean. Happy for you to decorate the room in whatever way makes your soul feel amazing!!!

We aren't party animals but we don't mind a drink every now and then. We plan on studying at Tafe and Uni and finding casual work. We are clean, respectful and considerate of others. We have a beautiful 2 1/2yr old American staffy, so dog/animal friendly people would be great! :)
Hello future housemates, I'm 32 and looking for a place to live in the Byron / Tweed area, preferably close to the beach. I am a full time uni student and also work part time so I keep myself busy. I have lived in many great share houses over the years and know what makes a happy, harmonious home. If you have something available or are interested in starting a share house together, please feel free to contact me.
