Hi we are looking to rent out our granny flat which is separate from the main house. It has a bedroom, bathroom, living area and a kitchen. It’s fully furnished. It would probably suit one person or maybe a couple, as there’s only one bedroom. We have young children that attend high school and primary school on the Southside. So we are not looking for party people. We are on 40 acres so if they have a pony and want to bring it that’s fine too, but will have to buy the feed at the moment. Unfortunately no other animals as we already have animals on our property. We both work in the public service in Canberra. We are looking for someone that would like to live in the country but still be close to Canberra. We are 20 mins away from Tuggeranong, on the Monaro Highway.
Area is quiet, close to a reserve, good size courtyards, easy to drive to shopping centers, nearby IGA, recently renovated kitchen and bathroom and reverse cycle heating and cooling. Room would be 3m x 3m but instead has a cross section making a fifth wall. Room is 3m, 3m, 2m, 1.6m, 1m. Easier to see in person. Happy to discuss pets. Dedicated car spot provided next to entrance. Water and internet included. Gas and electricity not included. No Smoking.
Clean and tidy, quiet and keep to myself mostly. I work full time in the public service. I enjoy a drink or two down at the pub and going out to watch local bands. Looking for a simple, no fuss living situation.
I want to take a lease and co-rent a share house, preferably in Conder, Banks or Gordon. I'm a news journalist, pool lifeguard and swimming instructor. I want to share a house with one or more compatible people where I can also host my 17-year old twins a few nights a week as they tackle their final year of school studies - Year 12. I'm very sociable but well versed in the sensitivities and courtesies of communal living, love a laugh (especially current affairs satire) and the occasional quiet drink. Plus outdoor adventure sports and my South Coast beach haven... but this year is mostly about being in Canberra to help my wonderful kids steer their way to their best options for the future.
I am tidy & like to keep to myself. I like to have none - minimal mess and always clean up after myself. I’m open minded and easy to get along and talk with. I am reliable, trustworth and pay all my bills on time. I love animals so I have no issues if you have pets, I like a good chat but also respect space and privacy.
1x female, 1x sphynx, 1x alexandrine parrot, & 1x cockatiel looking for a new housemate. All four of us are pretty well housetrained and the animals are strictly indoors. I am a homebody. looking for big bedroom with built in wardrobe, my own bathroom and my own secure car spot. Living with a sphynx, and birds is spending a lot of time making sure you shut the door behind you so they cant get outside. Ideally I am looking for someone able to comply with this one requirement. I am really easy going otherwise. Currently living in a 3brm townhouse on our own which is nice but we are on the move because the house is for sale.
I am a quiet and tidy mother of a teenager and we need a place to live in peace. We don't own animals, although we love them and we are focused on our goals. My son, Samuel, is in year 10 right now and he will be going to Erindale college next year because he is passionate about sports and health. I am working in childcare because I enjoy being around children and I am passionate about literacy and education. As a single mum, with no support, I need a place I can afford. I will be very grateful to hear from you, Kind regards, Virginia Moreno.
Hey, my name is Jamie and I'll be studying in Canberra. I'm easygoing and more than happy to help around the house. I enjoy cooking, photography, and working out. I like going out but prefer Netflix and a heavy doona most nights. So far this is sounding very cliche so I may as well double-down and cover all my bases by stating that I'm looking for a fun but relaxed; open but cosy; quiet but adventurous place to live. To be honest, I'm quiet and respectful and I'm looking for a place that matches.
Hello there potential future housemate/s. My name is Jake and I am looking for a room to move into in a friendly and welcoming house. I work part time at a nursing home and soon will be studying part time as well so I will be out of the house a fair bit. I have many interests, I enjoy cooking, sports, cartoons, games, movies, books, animals, arts, gardening, fashion, music and bike riding. I love animals and I have one dog who I want to live with me. I know this means that my options will be limited because most places don't allow dogs but I'm willing to wait until I find the right place because my dogs means a lot to me. If you have a room in a place where a dog would be acceptable or you are interested in looking for a place like together, I would love to hear from you!
We have two fully furnished rooms (but optionally unfurnished) available in lovely Conder. It’s a large house with two living areas, large covered outdoor entertaining area, and is fully set up and equipped. It’s is ideal for people working in Tuggeranong, only a 7 minute drive. You’ll be sharing with two ex-grads.
Hi, my name is Ngaihung and i am looking for a share house in Canberra. I am working part time in construction. I am looking for a quiet, clean, respectful and friendly place. I always pay rent on time and always take pride in keeping my room tidy.
I’m a clean, tidy, person that is respectful of house rules and needs. Currently seeking employment, but won’t have an issue paying for rent & bills.
I am a full time professional , non smoker, and non alcoholic and friendly , peaceful. looking for temporary share house from 21/02 to 21/04, so it's for 2 months only. I would love to interact with people occasionally, and want my own personal space as well. Early morning to 5 or 6 or 7 pm I will be busy at work. In the evening I might cook a meal, or meal for two, three times. I would be respecting your privacy and give your share of space as well. Ideally, looking for furnished/unfurnished bedrooms in Tuggeranong. Budget is $150 to $180 , depending on how a deal is described. I am not willing to pay bonds as it's only temporary accomodation.
Looking for someone to re-sign my current lease with me for 12 months. Own bedroom with built in wardrobe. Own bathroom. Close to the Tuggeranong Hyperdome. Bus stops close by. Own car space in lock up garage. Aircon for winter/summer. Wireless Internet provided but payments to be shared. Convenient location. Nice area. Walking trail close by. House fully furnished except the bedroom. Price does not include bills
The house is older style and basically furnished with a tv and sound system for entertainment. Entertainment noise in this house has never been a problem as the bedrooms are separated from the loungeroom. Foxtel is available but not connected. Their are also landlines into the bedrooms but these are not currently connected. Dishes, cutlery etc can be used by a flatmate except for fry pans and the wok. In the flatmate room there is a single bed and a chest of drawers available but no desk. There are two bedrooms to choose from. You may use existing bed linen if so desired. Everything works and is in good order. For those cold winter days and evenings there is central heating. It has ceiling and wall insulation. There is a garage and carport but parking would mostly be on the nature strip. The area is extremely quiet and insulation virtually eliminates outside noise when you are in the house. Dishes are to be washed up after the meal is finished. The house is good for someone with dust allergies as I am allergic to dust so I make an effort to keep the dust levels as low as possible. This is a great deal for the right person as some of the time you will have the entire house (that can rent for $450 a week) all to yourself. I travel a lot.
