Hey! I’m looking for somewhere to live! I’ve been back in Ballarat for almost two years after some extensive travels. I’ve just been in a share house with two lovely girls for over a year but one bought her own place so we all moved out. So I’m staying at my parents until I find somewhere suitable. I’m open to share houses or somewhere by myself depending on the circumstances. Living with new people would be great as I’m happy to chit chat but also do my own thing and live a pretty busy life with full time work and socialising with friends and family. I work in Ballarat Central and go to Fernwood gym so I am flexible with the location. Length of stay is negotiable, but I’d prefer something for at least 6 months. Flexibility is preferred. At this stage I’m not really interested in living in the Sebastopol or Lucas areas. I would also prefer 2 or less housemates.
Situated in the quiet location of Brown Hill is this very tidy property, just 10 mins from Federation University Campus and Ballarat Hospital, and 5 mins from Soldiers Hill train station. There is a bus stop right outside the house, and a convenience store, fish and chip shop, post office and liquor store within 100m. Offering 3 good sized bedrooms, one with built in robes, one updated bathroom with bath, shower and vanity and one brand new bathroom with shower and vanity and separate toilet. House has a large laundry room. The Open plan living area is warmed by a gas heater and cooled with a split system Air-conditioner. The kitchen over looks the separate meals area and offers a dishwasher, gas cook top and plenty of bench and cupboard space. The property is located on approx. 396m2 with its own access off Humffray Street, there is also single carport with direct access into the living room.
Its a share house, brick, 4 bedroom, 1 study, 2 living rooms, bathroom (master has en-suite) home. It has plenty of parking spaces, quiet location yet still close to Ballarat central. Close to unis, schools and public transport. Undercover area with large backyard. Aircon and central heating. I have 3 bedrooms to rent out as I am occupying the master. The bedrooms are empty for you to fill, and first in can choose which one they want. The communal areas of the house are furnished.
Love living here because it's in a nice quiet spot, with only the birdlife creating much noise. It's only a short drive to the cbd/supermarket and Western Freeway. There are two bus lines that run quite close, with the closest stop being about 500m away. The unit is 2 years old so is very easy to keep clean. We have a decent amount of storage in our single car garage. There is astroturf (fake grass) so almost no garden maintenance which is great. The room available nice and bright and a great size, it has built in wardrobes with full length mirrors. Bond is $413. Bills are not included in rent. We have central heating and a split system air con in the open plan living area. We are two students, 29 and 27, I’ve just recently moved into the house and am new to the area, Brooke enjoys catching up with friends, playing volleyball and going for walks. I love getting out and about on the weekends even though at the moment this isn’t happening due to a crazy uni schedule! I love cooking and just getting to know new people. We are both friendly and enjoy a good chat with our housemates but are out and about being quite social also. We are a non-smoking household. We are looking for someone in their 20's or 30's who has lived in a sharehouse before, is social, friendly and tidy. If you are interested to come and check it out/meet us, please send me a text or give me a call. We look forward to meeting you soon
I am a nanny who loves baking, keeps a tidy house, and prefers a good book and early bedtime to anything else. I ride horses, I'm an excellent baker (there will constantly be tasty, healthy baked goods in the house), and I will be studying Nursing/Paramedicine in Ballarat this year, so I'm looking for somewhere to stay while I study.
The room available is bright with natural light and a garden outlook. The room also includes a double bed, inbuilt wardrobes, desk, chair, hard-wired smoke detector and lockable door. You will be living in a large house including two generous sized common areas, an outdoor area for relaxing, a big backyard including basketball ring, a well-equipped kitchen and laundry facilities. The house is conveniently located with a bus stop nearby and easy access to CBD, supermarkets and local shops (10 mins by car). No pets. No Couples. Suitable for full-time students and full-time employed. For further details please do not hesitate to contact me.
I'm a 25yo graduate engineer currently working in Melbourne. I'll be starting my permanent full-time role in Ballarat at the beginning of March, so I'm planning to relocate around that time. I'm tidy and organised. I like my own quiet time but I'm also laid back and easy going; I don't mind having a chat/drink/meal with flatmates from time to time.
This is a small house with 4 rooms in total- one is being used as a lounge, 2 bedrooms and a study. The kitchen is recently renovated with a dishwasher and I have a large fridge/freezer. The house is completely furnished so you dont have to worry about bringing anything apart from your bedroom furniture! Theres a patio outside and enough garden space if you have a green thumb.
I’m a first year Federation University student studying a Bachelor of Contemporary Performance Practice (Music Theatre). I’ve lived in sharehouses around Melbourne for the last 2 years so I’m good at living with a variety of people. Clean, quiet, non smoker who prefers a quiet night in over a crazy night out on the town.
This is a 3 bedroom house with a large garden (including plans for a veggie patch), sun deck and long driveway for parking off-street. The neighborhood is quiet, and we are a 5 min walk to a bus stop and the closest milk bar, or 5min drive to Ballarat Central shops and Federation Uni. 10 min drive to the train station. The house is freshly painted with new carpet, and is mostly furnished but there is room for more living room furniture if you have some e.g. we don't have a TV right now but happy for you to bring yours! Other features are an air con, fan and gas heater in the main living spaces, unlimited NBN internet, plus dishwasher and washing machine. Lots of storage in the garage.
The house is conveniently located and is walking distance to local shops such as Coles and Hungry Jacks. It is also a 5 minute drive from the CBD and Bridge Mall. The area is very safe and is close to many schools. The house is spacious and airy, with windows overlooking greenery around the house. It has a massive living and dining space, well equipped with a TV, fridge and microwave. The bathroom is shared with a separate toilet. The bedroom is sizeable with a built in wardrobe and looks into greenery.
