Welcome to Forde, a quiet family-friendly suburb in the upper north of Canberra! Forde was just ranked recently as one of the highest socioeconomic suburbs of the ACT so know it will be a safe and friendly suburb. The house is located 1 minute from the bus stop making it convenient to travel into Gunghalin and then down to the city. There's also a small locale with cafes, restaurants, a SPAR convenience store about 15 minutes walk away. There's a national park just next to Forde and the suburbs is great for walks. The property comes fully furnished - it's got a large TV, large sofa, washing machine, dryer, kitchen table and everything in the kitchen that you'll need. The place also comes with unlimited NBN and is included in the rent. Bills will be split four ways (there's currently my partner and myself in the master). Room 1 ($220 p/w) - King sized bed - Built-in wardrobe - Table - Chair Room 2 ($200 p/w) - Queen sized bed - Built-in wardrobe - Table - Chair If you have a car, you're able to park up the driveway but we currently have two cars in the garage at the moment. You're also able to park on the street. It's about a 5 minute drive to Gunghalin, 20 minute drive to Belconnen and the City.
I have a room that is available in Bonner. It's a three bedroom house with two bathrooms, a bright open plan living area and a nice backyard. You will have private use of one bedroom and share a large bathroom with one other (female). You will have shared access to kitchen, living area and laundry. Your bedroom has a built-in robe . I have a Labrador at home with me who is fully trained and obedient. You will also be sharing the house with my other flatmate Josie, who is studying her Masters at the ANU. We are looking for a tidy person, who works or studies full time. Non-smoker essential as we are both non-smokers too. The room is available for $350 per fortnight plus shared utility bills and wifi. Hopefully you may be interested and if so, we invite you to check out the room and our place.
Hi there! I'm an civil engineering professional moving from Sydney to Canberra for work. I'm friendly and easygoing, most of my previous roommates in Sydney have became friends of mine and we are still in touch. Generally speaking I'm very quite and love reading, working, watching movies and play games by myself, but I also enjoy spending time with roommates and friends to cook, play or simply grab a drink and chat from time to time. I'm currently looking for a long term place to stay, I would stay for 1 year or longer if the place and roommates are suitable. Feel free to call or message me, txt msg is preferred. Many thanks!
Hi All, I’m looking for a room in a shared apartment or a town house in or near North Canberra or Gungahlin. I’m 25 yr old working professional and like to go on trekking and do outdoor activities. I am an easy going person who likes to keep things neat and tidy and loves cleanliness. I love to cook and can prepare a good meal occasionally. I love playing cricket on weekends or just sit back and relax or go fishing. Please PM me if you have any available rooms or looking for team up. Thank you Happy to hear back from you. Cheers,
I’m Bethany a 26 year old music teacher and photographer. I’m friendly and usually up for a chat but happy to have quiet time too. I love a tidy house (especially kitchen), so I’ll gladly work to keep it clean. A few mornings a week you’ll find me at the gym before work and if I have spare time I’ll enjoy a book or Netflix with tea or coffee and chocolate. Rainy weather is my favourite for a cozy day, especially in winter.
I am a Masters student looking for a new place to call home! I am easy going and neat and tidy. I love to cook (and share my food with other people) as well as a good laugh or chat. I am also pretty active (gym, long walks exploring Canberra). While I enjoy socialising I also respecting that people need their own space. P.S. a pet friendly place would be great but isn't essential
Recently moved to Canberra and looking for a nice place to stay and call home. I enjoy meeting new people and making new friends. Outside of work I enjoy cooking, gyming, swimming and hiking. Very active during weeknights and weekends working out, cooking and meeting friends and family. I have previously lived in share houses so know the drill.
Hey everyone, I am currently looking for a new place to live! I am looking at apartments/ townhouses on my own and ideally looking to team up with someone similar to live with! But if the right share house comes up I won’t say no. I am 24, currently working as a childcare assistant educator and work full time Monday to Friday. I like to keep to myself most of the time, but enjoy others company every now and then. I like to have a few drinks occasionally and like to have friends over from time to time as well. Message me if you wanna know more :)
My son and I are a little dynamic duo who've been living alone and traveling life together. We've migrated from the Philippines and have a rich culture to share. We love reading, outdoor adventures, bush walks on our own or with our dog, going to the beach and just exploring everything Canberra and the Region have to offer. We love meeting new people and are warm, friendly and conscientious.

I am a clean and tidy person who is easy to get along with. I enjoy having a drink or two with friends and having the occasional dinner together. At the same time, I respect others' privacy if they want some own time.
Hello. My name is Daniel, I'm 22, and I am looking for a place to live. I'm current in my last semester of studying part time at UC and I also work full time in retail (the dream). I like musical theatre, reading, gaming, weekends away, napping, and binge watching tv watching shows in my downtime. I work most weekends, but I am always happy to have a chat over a drink/dinner or whatever every now and then when I am home. I would say I am a relaxed but reliable, and tidy person who is respectful of other people and their personal space. I’m looking for somewhere close to the City/Belconnen/Gungahlin areas, but I would be chill with anywhere close to a bus stop with access to the City. If you want to know more just ask! I can provide rental references for the last few years. I’m also open to team ups. :)
