I am an allied health professional employed in Maryborough in the disability sector. This position will end once the National Disability Insurance Scheme takes over sometime between April and December next year therefore I would like some flexibility with the length of stay required. After that I will be returning to my house and partner in Brisbane. I am currently residing in Hervey Bay but would like to move closer to work in Maryborough. I am looking for clean, tidy and quiet accommodation with some privacy (own bathroom would be nice). I love animals and nature. I'm a bit of a muso and do a bit of yoga. I am mostly vegetarian although don't expect housemates to be. I would be best suited to live with people aged 40+. I spend some weekends with my partner in Brisbane.
"Juju", Shane and I have a medium sized 3brm home in Maryborough with one spare room available. It can be furnished or unfurnished and overlooks the back yard. The house is like a "Queenslander", but low set just a few steps up into the Sunroom which is nice to sit and have a cuppa coffee on a cold morning. :) At the moment, it has a Futon Sofa Bed for when Shane's kids sleep over. (Not in flood zone either- Just saying :) Fan's in all rooms. Carpet throughout. HUGE Bathroom, it was an extension and is nearly half the length of the house!! 2 x Toilets. Open Plan Kitchen, Heaps of cupboard space. Under Cover Garage, - It does have a door, but is old and can not be locked. Internet/Phone is with Dodo, paid for the extra speed. Best can get being in a 'rural' location. The premises is approx 7-8 Blocks away from Station Square 6 Blocks from Swimming Pool. Bus to the bay #5 about 2 blocks away.
I will be moving to the Hervey Bay/Maryborough region to start full-time work as a speech pathologist. I am looking to share accommodation with 1-2 others. I love the beach, animals and socialising with other people, but also value me-time and am quite a homely person. I am clean and tidy and a non-smoker.
