Each room will fit a double bed and desk, and has built-in wardrobes. Bills are split equally (regardless of placements), and wifi is available. We are not billed for water as long as usage is kept low. House is fully furnished with space to add more items if you want, however bedrooms are not furnished. Large yard and pergola, with a friendly pet rabbit in a cage. Unfortunately no other animals are allowed at the property. The lease will start on Feb 10, however the room may be available beforehand.
Located in Mitchell park estate in thurgoona, 2 minutes drive from csu! Less than 5 minutes from thurgoona plaza. Rent is split 3 ways, bills and internet not included. Unlimited internet available. Couples welcome.
One room available in the house that was built in October 2015, and has all new appliances and such, with ducted heating and cooling etc. There's space for upwards of 4-6 cars to be parked on the property. Landscaping currently isn't 100% complete but is nearly there! There's plenty of backyard space, as well as a pergola. The house is fully furnished but it's possible to move some other stuff in (another couch, or dining setting etc). There's also quite a bit of storage space in the garage. The house is situated a brief walk (10min) or drive (3min) to Charles Sturt University so it's ideal for students. It's near Thurgoona Plaza and a petrol station, with easy access to the freeway connecting Albury and Wodonga, Bills you'll need to pay on top of rent include all utilities: gas, water/sewage, and electricity - as well as access to Broadband (NBN coming May) and Foxtel if we want to continue the subscription. I generally share out my Netflix/Stan/Plex subscriptions free. We split all bills equally regardless of use or someone being away. I'm the homeowner, so for students, I'm happy to consider waiving some expenses during long-term breaks should you travel home for an extended time. The room measures 3.2x3.28m plus a large inbuilt robe. I made one of the bedrooms a study for now (see pic), there's space for another desk if need be too. Feel free to contact me to ask any further questions, arrange an inspection or get some photos etc. The room will ideally be available Mid-February 2017. It may be possible to make it available earlier, so let me know if this is needed. Dog in the pics won't be with us, though my staffy Chuie stays over occasionally!
Hello, I'm Darcy, I've just moved back to Albury after studying at Swinburne, for a Graduate position at a local automation firm. I'm a self-described quiet, Milo drinking, country dude who likes to make furniture, game, and tinker in my spare time. I watch way to many dodgy DIY Vids for my own good. I'm preferably looking for a share house with off street parking, Close to the Albury CBD, ideally with a lockable garage. I'm looking to live with other young professionals, who work full-time and keep communal areas clean, don't mind having a few quiet cold ones after a long week, and preferably have previous share house experience. I'm looking to move into a place some time in February depending on how things go. Furniture wise I've got a washing machine, couch, coffee table, Pizza oven, sandwich toaster, rice cooker, and an assortment of various pots, pans and cutlery.
Hi I'm Sarah. I'm only 20 but mature for my age, I'm looking for clean, quiet, courteous and responsible roommates as these are the things I value in myself. I am good at making sure things are clean and tasks are shared around the house. I have a fair bit of furniture including a washing machine, fridge and tv unit. I also have a car so undercover parking is important, and as a minimum off the street parking is required. Or I am also looking for place of my own. I love things like pets (looking to get one), gaming, travelling and having a good laugh. Sleep is very important to me so if you love to be up at all hours of the night with friends or the TV I don't think we will live together well as my job is very tiring. I currently work full time as a receptionist for a school for international students in the CBD. I really like airy houses full of windows and a good backyard. I'm a girl from the country who misses the peace and space. I am moving back in Jan 2017 to study in the Albury Wodonga region and hope to find a great place! Feel free to message me if you want to have a chat or you think you have a place to suit my needs! 😊
Hi there! I'm going to be starting at CSU in Albury in 2017 and so, naturally, need to find somewhere to live since it's not ideal to be trying to study while also trying not to get caught living in the roof space of a university building. I'm hoping to move to Albury around the end of January/start of February, to give me enough time to settle in and find a part-time job before the semester begins. If it's a long-term stay you're looking for, I'm flexible. I'm clean, quiet, and sometimes can be sociable, but I do like my own space. If you're a bit more outgoing than me though, I don't really mind. I enjoy reading, music, travel and can be persuaded to go outdoors if it's not stupidly hot out there and I can bring a book. I don't mind pets -- I love dogs, am wary of but could learn to love cats, am ambivalent towards fish -- and don't particularly care if you smoke. So, if you think you can help me out and make living in the university my last resort, get in touch!
Hi, I am 24 year old graduate who will be starting as an Intern in Albury hospital next year. I am an overseas student who has been in sydney for the past 3 years. I enjoys outdoor activity but are shy at times. I am clean and tidy, and resposible. I do not smoke and don't have any pets but love animals. I am looking for a room preferably for 1 year and would prefer at least a female housemate but I don mind living with guys. I do drive and hence a onsite or offsite parking will be nice.^^
Hey guys! My study of Medicine has brought me to Albury -i'm from Sydney- and now I am on a quest to find a great house. I am on the lookout for an entire house so that I can have two or three other people to move in with. Why don't I just find a single room? Well I want to find genuinely cool people so that our place has chill and fun vibes! I play guitar, love tennis, am a bit of a bookworm and love having people around. I also plan to find a doggo for the year (if you want to help me pick one!), and am keen to hit the slopes this winter. If I sound like a roomie you'd like to have around send me a message! Or I might send you one :)
I'm from Sydney, am moving to Albury for work as a vet and am looking to stay with some housemates. Am into sports and exploring the outdoors. No pets at the moment but would prefer a place that's open to it.
Canberra placement: 26/02/2017 - 03/06/2017. Albury placement: 09/07/217 - 14/10/2017. I'm a 25 year old dental hygiene student at CSU who loves dogs, pizza, wine and netflix (even if it is my sister's account). I am easy going, clean and respectful. Non-smoker, no pets. Student budget. Show me what you've got!
