Hello! I’m Laura from a argentina! I’m an Easy going and friendly person tracking with my boyfriend and another couple around Tasmania, working as pickers! I love outdoor sports, I’m an amateur rock climber and I am a graduate geologist. Hope to meet you soon!
Mid 20s, looking for a place in and around Hobart. Would like to live with someone who is similar in that they like a combination of socialising and time to their self, is clean, organised and appreciates privacy.
We are both pretty relaxed and love the outdoors and the environment. We have lived in a few share houses in our time, so we know to be respectful, considerate and tidy. Our dog Otis (Kelpie) is 3 years old and is both indoor and outdoor trained. He has a gentle nature and is great with all people and other animals too. We both love all sorts of music, especially while relaxing with a cuppa listening to vinyl. Our weekends usually consist of bushwalks, looking for native flowers, attempting to boulder/rock climb, hanging out with family and friends, occasional movie marathons, yoga and crafternoons. I am currently on holidays for Uni. I started my first year of marine biology this year but have transferred to a degree at UTAS. Caitlyn works Full Time as a Park Ranger. We usually spend our afternoons taking Otis to the Dog park or dog beach and then having dinner and relaxing (usually board games, crafternoon or watching a series like Terrace House or Westworld). We are open to finding a place with some new people and making a home for us all or renting a room in a share house. Please feel free to send a message our way. Cait, Sax and Otis.
Hey Guys, I'm Sam. Hobart's a pretty cool place, I've lived here most of my life. Next year is looking a little bit up in the air for me, pondering a bit of travel but could also very easily stick around in town for a while to come! My current lease is finishing up and I'm looking for somewhere to lay my head for at least a few months over summer with the potential to stay around longer. I work full time in eco-tourism along with a little side gig at a bar, so in between all of that and travelling and catching up with some friends I don't tend to be at home a whole lot. When I'm around I love to have a chat and a wine, share a meal and a few laughs. I like to think of myself as a pretty clean and organised person to live with and always keen to help out and contribute to the household! My main base for work is located a little out of the city, so pretty open as to where I live as long as it's within a 15-20min drive to town. Look forward to chatting with you soon :)
I'm a 36 year old single, easy going and tidy guy. I enjoy others company as well as my own. Respectful of others space, and am used to living with other people. I love my sport (AFL, cricket, basketball etc) and music is my passion. Looking for a quiet, relaxing and friendly place to live, with either males or females.
Hey guys, Searching for a room in a sharehouse for myself, my partner and our friendly dog Billy near Hobart. I’m from Australia and I work as a boat captain out of Dover on the tug boats. My partner, Penny, is from Germany and just finished her farm work to get her second year visa. I’m generally away for 4 to 5 days a week doing overnight work on the boats and Penny will find work in Hobart once we get our housing sorted out. We are used to living in sharehouses, and in small rooms. Both easy to get along with. We aren’t really loud people. We like a social drink, but we are both well past our crazy party years. Billy is a medium to large cross breed who’s completely house trained and friendly with other dogs. We are currently staying at a house in Dover, but this house is something out of a horror movie. It’s a toss up of what’s worse, the infestation of spiders or the rats that do a tap dance in the roof every night. Either way, we need to get out there soon. I know it’s a lot to ask, letting 2 people and a dog into a house, but we are good to live with and I’m happy to pay a bit extra for the trouble. Thanks for your time :)
Im Ruth aka Ally Lou! (: Ive just moved to Tasmania! Nature is calling me with all her beauty down here. Ive been working in Hospo but my main thing has been volunteering nearly full time at Lentils As Anything, looking for full time work right now. I am pregnent and hoping to find a place until I have my baby and then look for long term unless yall dont mind a lil one in the house otherwise Im happy to move out! Im due in April, woohoo! Im pretty much moving down there to go hiking and enjoy the scenery before my little bean arrives. I dont mind people who drink or smoke/4/20 (I dont for obvious reasons but I dont normally do these things in general ). Im tidy but Im not one to fuss over dishes being left in the rack. I enjoy movie nights like a lot, I had three a week with friends in Melbourne!! Im quite the chef in the kitchen as well, my minestrone is near godhood. Would love a house viewing if anyone likes the sound of me (: Thank you for reading and hope to meet you!
Very busy with work so hardly ever home but when I am, I’m a very clean person who likes a chat but also like to have my own quiet time. I umpire sports so keep quite busy on the weekends. Enjoy a quiet wine or gin.
The bedroom that is available is a sunny double room with magnificant mountain views , queen bed , wardrobe , linnen , bedside tables etc. It has a private entrance at the other end of the house and private off street car parking suitable for a trailer . The property has recently been renovated with polished timber floors , modern low cost lighting, new windows , brand new bathroom and a big timber deck in the process of being built. Its beautifullly sunny all day, facing north with mountain and water views on top of a reserve. The house is surrounded by gardens and lawns with an auto watering system ( low maintenance) and has a big sun terrace off of the sunroom/lounge space: this is in addition to the seperate kitchen and deck area . (so plenty of private space to hang out ) . its a quite household with the feeling of a home not a flatshare party house. its 5 m walk to Prince of wales bay marina and waterfront reserves , jetties , local shops . Bus stop 2 minutes walk. 8 min drive to centre of Hobart CBD and 5 min to Glenorchy and Moonah.
