I'm a 28 year old female professional, looking for a room close to Byron Bay. Happy to consider anywhere within about 20 minutes drive. About me: I have lived in several share houses so have a good idea about share house etiquette and keeping tidy! I like having a bit of a chat, laugh or drink with my housemates but am also happy to respect the need for personal space. I like to keep active, don't mind an occasional drink, but am not a party animal. Am a non smoker. Would like to have undercover parking and airconditioning and don't mind paying a bit extra for these luxuries :-)
Great house, 4 min drive from Mullumbimby, 2 min from showgrounds and farmers markets. Nestled on 85 acres. House is fully furnished with an unfurnished room with own toilet/shower. Prefer fem. for balance, but all considered. Couples considered at $290 No kids Existing Dog (Saxon the staffy)
Really easy going Pet lover, everything lover, I'm a vegetarian, won't judge you for eating meat if you don't judge me for not eating it. I'm pretty open to everything, love to cook, love my music. Self sufficient and sociable. Always happy to cook a little extra to share. Fine with a few drink, love my cider. I have a partner so ideally they would be over a couple of times a week. Work Monday - Friday 8-5 in insurance so you know I'm not too rowdy.
Hello! I'm easygoing, enjoy seeing live music, grabbing a beer at the pub, spending time at the beach, travelling, yoga, reading and writing, I'm vegan and love to cook. I have a 3 year old puppy named Jessie. She is an English Staffy x American Bulldog - beautiful dog with a great temperament, loves people and other dogs. Bonus if you own a dog so Jessie has a puppy friend but not necessary! Looking for fun, friendly and laid-back people to live with. Respect for space and privacy are important but I also like chilling/hanging out with my housemates! Would rather something longer term but happy for short term as well. $300 incl bills is my max, ideally love something a bit cheaper though! Cheers!
looking for place to stay for a few months in or close to Byron! I have recently finished school and Iam planning on moving out in early December. I love love the beach! anything creative, animals, nature and music. Iam easy to get on with and have spent most of my life living in canberra. Iam planning on working part time.
I'm a Wookie-Hobbit hybrid with a Brazillian, and a writer. I have spinal damage but still mobile, and just want a place where I can write my books & screenplays, plus grow veggies. I'm 6'4" so I need a decent sized room, plus a study/office for my writing.
Hey, I am a 30- year old creative, easy-going girl, I work full-time in fashion. Most of my free time I spend outdoors, going on little adventures, bike rides, doing yoga, running or just hanging on one of the beaches. When it's not good weather I'll just play some records on my vintage player. I am looking for a home and not just a house which means I am looking for a social place with some relaxed, friendly flatmates but I am also looking for a place to unwind. A place where we can find the perfect balance in socialising when we feel like it but also respect each others need for having your own space. I am looking for a place to calm down, not a party pad. Cleanliness and tidiness is also important. I can bring in furniture if needed, a couch, tv, side table, dining table, large fridge and kitchen tools but that can be sold if there is no room for it. I love cooking Indonesian food, sometimes I cook a whole feast but lately I've been cooking healthy food, I cook things from scratch and fresh so I would need a little bit of cupboard space. Happy to share a meal if you like it. Finally I'll be bringing 2 bikes, a Vespa and cafe racer. Space in a garage would be ideal. Otherwise safe street parking nearby is essential. Looking for long-term
Dear future possible flatmates, My name is Alex. I'm from Ireland, I'm here on a working holiday visa but looking to extend it once its up (i've just arrived, so long term places are all good with me too) I'm very friendly, bubbly, caring, fun, all those other good adjectives. I'm very respectful of other peoples privacy and property. I love being social but I also love my alone time. I'm an animal lover so anyone with any pets, I am more than happy to help look after them and walk them. I'm currently working with a Marine Conservation charity, and looking in to some other cool work too. I'm clean and tidy. I'm cool with smokers. I'm an ex-bartender so I make great drinks and i'm good craic (gaelic for fun) over a pint or two. Pretty chill when it comes to most things. So yeah, i'm just pretty easy going and friendly to pretty much everyone so if anyone is looking for a flatmate i'd love to hear from you. Cheers, Alex
hey guys i've lost my house due to unforeseen circumstances, but thanks to my beautiful friends I've had a place to crash however I need my own bed and room. I'm currently living in Wollongong but need a change of scenery and a fresh start. I have money saved up while I look for work in the area, which I have already begun. I'm easy to get along with, fun, clean and vegan so you won't have to worry about me eating all your food. I don't have any pets but I love animals and don't mind taking care of them for you for whatever reason. Please get back to me ASAP! :) <3
Hi mates!! My name is Noemie! Me and my boyfriend Nelson just arrived in Mullumbiby a week ago. We both are from Canada ( easy going people!!!) and found jobs in Byron. We also work as "helpx" at someone's house for accommodation and we are looking for a house share. We both are great to live with as we are friendly, reliable and most of all extremely neat and tidy! We will be in Australia until the end of March and if you need, we have good references from our last home stay. We would be happy to meet initially to put any concerns to rest ! Noemie and Nelson
Hey! We are a couple looking to move up from SA to the Byron area asap! If anyone is interested in getting a teamup together we are very keen on finding an acreage around the Shire with many trees and room for activities! We are easy going, enjoy socialising but also our own space and like to keep a tidy environment that still feels like home. We love a good adventure, exploring nature and getting creative in our spare time. Ideally we're looking for a place with open and like minded people who we can share a living space with and create a happy environment for everyone :) Sling us a line if you're interested in a flatshare or team up!!
I'm easy-going, respectful, great at conversations, conflict avoidant, like to relax at home and read, write or play music as much as I love driving around, exploring and adventuring. Have a beautiful girlfriend who is currently travelling South America, will be home by February or March, so she will be joining me then. We are pesco/vego and looove cooking, especially for others. Looking to settle somewhere for a little while to save for travel I work three days a week at Potager restaraunt in Carool, seeking a second job. I adore coffee, wine, food, art and music, philosophy, thoughtful films, bad weather.
I would be looking to share preferably with only one other person, two at the most. I am looking to share with someone who is friendly and respectful, who enjoys sharing a home not just a house … I’m not saying I will live in your pocket, I just don’t want to live in “a room” which is my current living situation and it is very isolating. I’m quiet but social, and respectful of others space and privacy. I would enjoy sharing an evening meal occasionally and a bit of a laugh. I enjoy cooking, specially for others and just love BBQ's in summer ... actually, don't be surprised if you see me BBQing in winter! I'm a clean and tidy person and value living in a relaxing and peaceful environment … peaceful can be just sitting back and listening to the world around me or just a good chat or laugh, DVD ... I have an indoor cat that will be coming with me … she is not a destructive* cat so you do not have to worry about any of your belongings being damaged and isn’t a lap sitter so other than the usual hello she is unlikely to bother you, she rarely sits on my lap so I’d fall over from surprise if she were to curl up with you! She has spent the last few years sharing a house with a couple of dogs so if you have a dog or a cat that is no problem, as long as they won't eat her! I will be relocating so it is unlikely I will be working although I'm hoping to move with a job waiting if not, I'll do volunteer work as it is usually readily available compared to paid work … it is also a great way to get involved in the community and discover the area. I'll be studying "Library, Cultural & Information Studies" online from January '17 and "Equine Assisted Therapy" onsite mid-2017 intake is. I am a non smoker and a very rare drinker and love a night at the pub having a crack at Pub Trivia. I love what Mother Nature has gifted us and this is an amazing country and my bliss is camping … if you are a camper as well I’d be happy to get out and about, since losing my camping buddy I’ve been reluctant to camp on my own, I think I've read to many crime books and scary movies! I am searching now as I'd like to meet, have a chat and coffee or a meal or two ... from experience, rushing can result in a long, painful time to end of lease! Thank you for taking your time to read my post … have a wonderful day. Asha … * seriously, I am extremely lucky to have a non-destructive cat unless you are a scratch pole!

I'm looking to move into a share house with several other people around a similar age, who are friendly and welcoming.

Hi there, My name is Susan. I'm looking to move to Ballina to study. I've quit life as a social researcher and am making a career change to primary school teaching. I'm starting a masters in primary education next year (by distance), but am also wanting to do something at Ballina TAFE in community services. I'm currently living in Sydney and want to escape the madness! I intend on living in Ballina for 1-2 years. It ticks all the boxes for me! I have lived in share accommodation for around 17 years with between 1 and 4 other flatmates - so I know the drill. I'm social, respectful, responsible, and I pay the bills on time. Initially, I won't be working but once settled I intend to get some type of work to supplement my study allowance - I'll see what eventuates once I make the move. I've ticked 1+ years, but am OK with shorter periods - something to help me get a base in the area. References of previous flatmate / landlord available on request. Cheers! Suze (Susan)
