American backpacker looking for a room or a shared room for the Dry Season. I am working full time in cafes and restaurants. I am easy going. I enjoy reading, writing, photography, running, and cooking. In a roommate scenario, we can hang out a lot or we don't have to chill at all.
Hi! I'm moving up to Darwin from Adelaide soon (I fly in on May-31) to start a job as a Government groundwater scientist. I'm a fairly typical late-20's guy - I enjoy all the usual things (the outdoors, travel, convos over drinks) plus less usual things like baseball, old books and old movies (B&W old). I've lived in Darwin before so I also have a pretty good existing friendship group up there. I'm looking to either move into an existing sharehouse or start one up. I've lived in sharehouses all over Australia so I know how to pull my weight and respect other's lives. A big part of my work is going to be doing fieldwork in the outback for periods of up to six weeks - so you'll have some extra space sometimes, too! Send me a message if you're keen or want to know anything else.
I’ve just moved up from Melbourne and looking for somewhere short/long term, but ideally long term. Furnished/unfurnished. I keep pretty busy - swimming, cooking, camping, music. Looking for like-minded people who enjoy a casual drink and a laugh at times, but who also appreciate a clean and chilled house. I’ll be away for work a couple of weeknights most weeks. :)
We're both clean and tidy, and respect people's privacy but also enjoy hanging out with other house-mates. We both like to cook delicious food that looks super fancy and hipster, but is actually quick and easy to make, e.g., last week I made eggplant and zucchini stacks with chilli brie and pepperoni, while Greg made a shredded sweet potato and kale salad with pomegranate seeds. And yes, we're THOSE people who brew our own kombucha / make saurkraut / make our own wooden spice rack, that sort of thing :P We both love animals and the outdoors - Greg is doing his PhD in evolutionary biology and I'm working for Conservation Volunteers. We spend every few weekends out exploring Kakadu, as my parents live out there too. We are moving in a few months, so looking for a place from now until mid-July.
I'm a uni student who works at a betting company, I can be social and respect people's privacy. I grew up in Darwin most of my life and I like talking about sports. I'm also a bit of a movie buff and I like cooking.
Hello Guys I and my Partner Kyle both end 20th are looking for a new place to life around Darwin CBD. Kyle is working in a mine two hours away from Darwin. He works two weeks on and one week off. So it would be mainly me staying there. We are a relaxed and tidy couple who love having a beer or Chat with our housemates. Feel free to Message me for any further questions
Hello! :) I've recently moved up from Sydney and looking for short-term furnished accom until I figure out where I'd like to plonk long term (and I'm happy to take tips!). I'd like to try a few different suburbs for 2-ish week periods while you may be looking for your perfect flatmate so I could fill in that gap for you too. I don't have any myself but am happy to live with pets provided they're well-trained. One thing I won't budge on is you must be a non-smoker(s), sorry I can't stand the smell. I don't have any furniture but do love reading though so need a place to put some books and also a pushie as that's currently my only mode of transport....speaking of, I need to be within a short (30min) ride to the airport as that is where I work but I don't particularly want to live right across the road. Ideally I'm looking for something with space and an outlook. It doesn't have to be a "view" as such but just open. A built-in is a must and the best air-conditioning available! :D So about me; I'm a considerate shiftworker, easy-going, open-minded, blunt, honest and active. I'm a keen traveller and I don't like to be at home much but when I am, it's my haven. I love company but also appreciate my own space so happy to hang out sometimes but also do our own thing. I'm a keen recycler, eat mostly veges but I love the smell of a barbie on any given day! I'm super clean, but my room is usually a mess however I ALWAYS maintain tidiness in the common areas and expect the same. I've lived with others on and off for over 20yrs (Sydney real estate!), my last flatmate for almost 7 of those. I love meeting new people and experiencing new things so if you have any advice on things to see, do, eat or experience for a newcomer to Darwin, throw me your suggestions! I am keen to get fitter (biking to work is helping!), love classic Aussie rock (Midnight Oil, Hunters, Hoodoos, Divinyls etc), drink a lot of tea, enjoy playing & watching sport and like to learn new things. Hopefully something there grabs you enough to think I'd be a good fit in your home or at least curious enough to contact for a cuppa & chat. I look forward to meeting you soon. Cheers, Jane. :)

Hey! I'm Maroussia and I am looking for a place to live in Darwin. I am a Perth-native and I am moving up to the NT for a job. I'm a speech pathologist and I will be working full time. I am a friendly and social person who loves to have a good laugh, but I also appreciate some down time as well. I'm a clean and tidy person who is respectful of other peoples' space and belongings.
Hi there! I’m Julie, a local Terratorian looking for a new home and a chill flatmate to share it with. I work full time in NT Government, am a morning person and enjoy an active lifestyle. I’m looking for a professional who would like to team up and sign a lease on a tidy apartment near or in Darwin city. I am clean, tidy and have lived in share accommodation for a few years and know the ropes. I do prefer to have a regular cleaner for basic house maintenance. I’m fairly social and would enjoy a friendly chat after work. I also enjoy time to myself, reading, painting and cooking. Shoot me a message if you think we’d get along!
Hey guys! Looking for some cool people to love with. I like to have fun and socialize but will also keep to myself. I might sing in the shower but only if no one is home; If you are home you get a free concert. I'm always down for a beer or 5. I love animals so if you have pets you get many points. I'm from New York but don't have a thick accent, sorry to disappoint, I can pretend if it's really important to you. Hope to hear from you!
Hey Y'all, I'm looking for a unit/room until the end of the year (Govt contract) for me and my two (very friendly) cats. Flexible on area/set-up/no of flatmates. Happy to take a 6month lease also. I'm clean and considerate, love music, social but I don't really party. Cheers, Matt
I have an awesome motorhome and I'm heading back to Darwin this dry season! This says alot. It says I'm well travelled, fun, independent, open-minded and have an awesome sense of humour. That said, I'm totally didactic because I'm also very responsible, mature, non-partyer (unless you count dancing around my bedroom haha), somewhat introverted and easy going. I'm into exploring (obviously), markets (attending as well as running stalls), photography, hiking, watching movies and chillaxing. I'm looking for a fully furnished room (with a desk would be a bonus) for myself and a place where Max the Motorhome can be plugged in occasionally (it has a trickle charger that sometimes needs minimal power). However, if the right place is unfurnished, I can furnish it. I prefer non-smoking homes with positive, easy going flatmates. Dogs, fish and birds are awesome but cats trigger my allergies. A pool or spa would be lovely, as would a location near a gym or outdoor park. A bath (a real sized one, not a tiny one for children and midgets) would be heaven with lots of greenery. Preferred location: within 30 mins drive of Darwin CBD. Date: at this stage, it will be around 3 June with lots of flexibility.
Close to CBD and the Mindal Markets and Cullen Bay. I have just bought the unit however still furnishing it. In the living area will be a 65" TV. Unlimited internet however not yet connected. Your room is large with built in wardrobe. I intend to get solar panels installed which will bring down the electricity costs heaps! I am a professional engineer and I work fulltime hours. We are on the top floor however it is a two story walk up which is great for a bit of exercise. A sensational new samsung fridge that has a built in ice maker. I've purchased one of those robot vacuum cleaners to keep the place nice and tidy :) I'm fairly chilled and I love to have a drink and socialise however also like my space after work.
The unit is fully furnished with very modern appliances and the complex has a lovely pool and outdoor BBQ area. The apt has unlimited wifi which is included in the rent :) The balcony on the apartment is very big and breezy and is nice to sit out on in the evenings listening to music or have a beer. You will have your own bathroom and your bedroom has a king size bed and 42" television.
Location location this unit is 10min walk from mindil beach,Cullen bay and the centre of cbd.veiws of sunset from balcony and a clean tidy healthy environment.this is not a party place.the unit is furnished except the room I am renting it is empty so you will need a bed,it is the same as the room in picture.this unit would suit a woman that likes the beach, sunsets and having All darwin has to offer within walking distance also public transport is 2mins away.
This is a brand new 2 bedroom 2.5 bathroom apartment in the centre of the city in the Arraya Apartments. There are 4 air con units and 5 fans in the complex as well as a pool and gym. There is security only access to the floor of the apartment.
