Relaxed, social uni student/worker looking to move closer to the city. Pretty tidy, love to cook and have a good chat over a few beers. Would love to live in a pretty social household, but I also recognise the importance of alone time and personal space. Keen to share some family dinners and a few drinks with some good people. Shoot me a message if you’re interested in teaming up!
Hi there. Currently and for the last couple of years, I rent on my own after many years of share housing. However, for financial reasons, I'm considering looking to 'team up' on a new rental property preferably (mainly seeing as I've got a house worth of furnishings). I'm not in a desperate hurry to move and would only look to do so with the right housemate basically. About me; I work full time, play sport a couple of times a week, non-party animal, enjoy reading, listening to music and the beach in summer. I've been living in Newcastle just over five years now and don't mind playing tour guide if you're new to the city! Around the house, I'm easy going, tidy and respectful. I enjoy good company and conversation, but also enjoy a bit of quiet time too. Weekends are pretty quiet and laid back but in saying that, I like to get out of the house (not a lounge lizard). An ideal housemate would fit into similar criteria hopefully or at least think this sounds a bit like them. Similar age bracket too would be good. Let me know if that's you.
We are two independent girls who spend more time outdoors than at home. Very respectful, clean and quiet within houseshares. Lana works part time in Sydney and freelance designs in the other time at home. Jena works full time in Finance for an engineering firm in Newcastle. On weekends we jump in our van and go exploring the beaches of NSW for waves and hiking trails. We are looking for a clean, minimal, fresh house with some good humans.
Both easy going and social. Study full-time and work casually. Love the beach, going for coffee and don't mind a night out. Also couldn't figure out how to upload a photo of us without it zooming in on one of our heads haha
Looking for something available from the end of January/ early Feb Willing to pay bit more for a room with ensuite. Ideally with 2 other roommates. Close to the beach and work. Currently working as an Enrolled Nurse permanent part time hours at Lingard Private hospital and commencing study February at UoN doing my bachelors in Nursing. I like living in a clean environment and respect peoples space and personal belongings, love socialising but also love my down time and space. I am wanting to explore more places and would love a roommate who is down for that during our spare time :) I work some night shifts and weekends so I’m not interested in a party house but happy to have chilled drinks or a night out when appropriate.
Hi! ralph has recently moved from Australia from England. He is active and is currently doing a personal training course, hoping to find a job in that area. Georgie is from Tamworth and is new to the newcastle scene. She is also studying fitness before starting a degree at the city campus of Newcastle. We believe we are fun people, like to have a drink every now and then, and also we are mean cooks.
Hey there! I'm a 23 year old environmental science student looking for a quiet place to live for my final year of study. I've lived out of home (and in Newcastle) for 4 years and I'm house trained, clean and social. I am independent, respectful of others and maintain a busy schedule during the week. On the weekends I like to go out with friends to explore Newcastle's beaches and would love to be able to do this with housemates too. Ideally I would like to be living with no more than 2 others, as I've done the large share houses in the past and they're just not for me. I love to cook and garden (I do come with a few houseplants but they can definitely just be kept in my room) and during the week I'm kept busy with casual work and full time study. I'm also very open to setting up a new sharehouse as I've had my eye on the rental market for a little while and have access to household furniture if necessary, otherwise I can just bring along my bedroom furniture. Looking forward to hearing from you
My names Danni, I'm 23 years of age. I work full-time as a teacher and also study my Masters part time. I'm a pretty social person, often out and about on a weekend/beverages with friends, but i also love my own space and down time. Looking for a place in town with fun, clean people :)
Hey! Im a young dude looking to move back into my beloved newy after 1.5 years traveling. Im an easy going casual school teacher with an interest in music, cooking, bike riding and everything newcastle! Im an outgoing people person but also enjoy my alone time. I dont mind a bit of a party but as im getting older the hangovers are becoming more of a challenge so i try keep intoxication fo a minimum😁
Hi I'm Trent, I'm 26 and a full-time working Architect. During the week I’m usually pretty busy with work and training. On weekends I like to be outside either surfing or just catching up with mates. I’m looking for a place right in the heart of town with fun, easy going people 🙂
...Or "Shaz" for short So, I have recently enrolled in a Bachelor of Medical Radiation Science at the University of Newcastle after studying Medical Science at the University of Technology (Sydney), and although I currently live in Sydney, I am determined to make the move. I am looking for a potential roommate/s who is somewhat my age and hopefully has similar goals and interests. To be quite honest, I wouldn't mind an apartment in Newcastle CBD, so if you're looking to teamup, please let me know. I do enjoy going out regularly but I am also down for a chill night at home with a few pals. I'll also be travelling back and forth to Sydney every week most probably from Friday-Monday and I like to visit the gym once or twice every day.
I am an 18 year old female who is about to start my first year of uni. I am a relaxed, social and easy going person. I am neat, tidy and always clean up after myself. I love cooking, a good coffee and a day at the beach.
I am looking to move to Newcastle in May 2018. (A while off I know, putting the feelers out now!) I currently live in country NSW and will be moving to Newcastle to be back near the beach/sea. I work FT as a Production & Graphics Manager for a Promotional Merchandise & Signage company based in Sydney. I have been working remotely for the last 2 years and would consider renting 2 rooms (bedroom + office/ study) in the house or can rent an office externally. I am originally from country NSW however, have lived in Sydney for 20 years and overseas. I have travelled locally & abroad extensively, I love the sea (and miss it!), love to cook, have a laugh and am generally calm and laid back. I keep active by going to the gym, access my creative side through wood carving and volunteering for local organisations. I love gardening, growing my own herbs and veggies is a must! I am looking to move to Newcastle as I have a few friends there, and every time I visit I enjoy myself.. plus it is coastal (and not in Sydney! haha :-))
Hey, Jim here. Like to think I'm easy going and tolerant (maybe too cruisy at times!), friendly, sociable, equally like chilling out after work as having a drink or nice meal to wind down, super clean and tidy to the occasional annoyance of my all male office colleagues (i know, workplaces like that are still around), love cooking but a terrible baker as not really into following recipes .Will absolutely respect your privacy and space. Love time outdoors riding, running, swimming, just hanging out. Getting into yoga so hope there's space to roll my mat out every now and then! I've been in Newie about 15 years, work full time and longish hours so pretty much gone between 6am and 6pm.
I'm a Newcastle area local looking to move closer to the city to be closer to the uni and other fun places. I study Law/Arts at the Uni of Newcastle and am looking for a share house that is relatively clean and quite social but also has respect for each others space. I am very clean and tidy, friendly, and fun (I also enjoy and am good at baking) and would really like to find housemates that I would be friends with and who are keen on the occasional shared dinner / movie night/ drinks. Hit me up if this sounds like you!
Stand-alone 3 bedroom home with a massive room with wardrobe, laundry has a 2nd toilet which acts like an ensuite to the bedroom. 1km walk to Bar Beach and Merewether Beach, short walk to Coles, Aldi and Market town. Close to Darby Street and pretty much everything. Clean tidy older style home, very relaxed and easy going household, with a nice yard and veggie garden. Fully furnished house with a comfy couch and Netflix on the TV. Have lived here for 3 years and the location is spot on to enjoy everything Newcastle has to offer! $200 all inclusive of bills and unlimited NBN internet, contribution with shared household duties is expected. (Furniture in photos is available to be purchased bed, clothes rack, cube shelves, fan and besides ($250), my housemate is moving back to QLD and has other furniture in storage so grab a bargain.)
Hey I am looking for a place because my landlord is planning to sell my current place. I am an Engineer working in Beresfield looking for a place in near the beach. I am easy going and I like to play sport and hang out with friends in my free time. I often get up quite early to go to the gym before work, so I am not interested in being in a party house. I like to relax on the weekends generally involving something like BBQ and drinks. I like to try and keep things tidy and clean. Looking for a place with young professionals that are also easy going.
We are ardent travellers in the weekends while working/volunteering full time in the weekdays. My wife Hari volunteers at several places around Newcastle and I work at the University as a researcher. We love to meet new people and make friends :-)
Heaps easy going chick that is keen to move somewhere close to the beach and close to the newcastle uni. I work in town part time as well so it will be more convenient being central to that! Spend my free time at the beach/socialising and don't mind a couple of drinks on the weekend and a cheese platter never hurt nobody
I am pretty quiet although friendly too. I work full time in the community services sector and like yoga, singing and walking in this lovely city, particularly in parks and by the water. I will have my (lovely) 17yo daughter with me and we are happy to share a room. We are looking for somewhere to stay while we find a house to buy. I will pay all rent on time and we will be tidy and respectful to others in the home.
Hey, My name is Eugene and I'm looking for a room or team up in near the beach in Newcastle. I'm moving up from Adelaide at the end of January to start a new job as an environmental engineer. I'm an easy going guy with a good sense of humour. I love a chat and I'm generally pretty interested in everything. I like to keep things tidy and I can fix (or at least try and fix) broken stuff. After work during the week I love being outdoors (surfing or some form of exercise) and then eating and crashing - on the couch or in my room reading a book. I'm down with little projects, like veggie patches, building outdoor furniture or making a chicken coup. I like to either be social on the weekends, going to gigs or having some beers and laughs, or out of town camping/exploring. I eat mostly vegetarian food, but often don't follow this on the weekend. Also happy to share meals! Cheers, Eugene
I'm a Corporate Communications professional who has recently moved to Newcastle on a five-year contract. I spend most weekends in Melbourne or Sydney. I tend to work very long hours but if and when I do get home early, I really enjoy cooking (am something of a BBQ master) but quite capable of producing a great casserole in winter. Also enjoy the odd glass of good wine becuase life is too short to drink crap wine. I am easy going and very laid back.
