Hi, I’m Jeff and working as a chef in Newcastle. I’m very tidy, clean, easy going and respectful to people’s surroundings and hoping I can find a place with people who have the same mindset. Julia is pretty similar. We are both social, but her being a student, she can be in uni a lot. Cheers!
Hi everyone! My name is Zahra, I'm 19yrs old and I've been living in Newcastle slightly over 1 year now. I'm looking for a new house to call home, preferably around or under $150 but up to $200 a week. Also super keen on teaming up and applying for a new place, preferably in Cooks Hill but open to other places too, send me a message if you think we would get along :) I have a 1.5yr old cat with me as well, his name is Kitty. He's super friendly, really loves new people and will almost definitely want to cuddle with his new housemates! I work at a local fruit and veg shop in Newcastle Monday-Friday and have been living in various share-house arrangements since I finished high school 3 years ago so I have plenty of experience sharing a home with others. I am a friendly, introverted girl yet to make friends here outside of work, so I'd really love to have housemates I could consider my friends! Currently I enjoy spending my time on the weekends doing my own thing in my room or getting other odd jobs done out and about since I'm working through the week. I don't enjoy going out to pubs usually so I'm not someone you'll have to worry about coming home late and being loud often. I do enjoy having a drink here and there, just pubs/clubs aren't really my thing, I'd rather have it in the comfort of my own home with people I know. I'm a very clean person, I like to keep things tidy and am definitely capable of cooking, cleaning and looking after myself and my cat. I do not drive so I'd like to be in a location close to my job in Newcastle. Please contact me if I sound like a suitable housemate or you're interested in teaming up for a new place!
Hello, I am Damilola, 24. I currently study full time and work part time, I am keen on a room if available. I am clean, organised, respectful, easy-going and I understand the sharing of duties. I love a good laugh when possible and I am basically an open-book. I wouldn't mind a bevy or wine, when possible. I currently got into Yoga - which I am very keen on atm, I dance salsa, go to the gym but would love to go a lot more. I also have my furniture, so a furnished room isnt required. I would genuinely want an housemate(s), who is/are friendly, accomodating and I want a place to call home and is very welcoming. I also understand the need for personal space and I’m very respectful of it. I am also looking for a place close to work. Please feel free to contact me, if you have a room available in the above suburbs. I would be happy to come check it out. Thank you
Very easy going. Busy working part-time and studying at UON. Third year studying a Bachelor of Speech Pathology Honours. Like to go out for dinner, have a drink and socialise on the weekends. Also like some down time and personal space. Extremely respectful, neat and tidy. I enjoy going for walks and hikes, working out at the gym, health and fitness, spiritual person (don't mind a bit of yoga and meditation every now and then), cooking (vegetarian and vegan), reading, and enjoy doing art in my down time. Live a pretty healthy and active lifestyle but also like to indulge now and then. Would love to meet some like minded people who I can potentially become great friends with! Much prefer a community and friendly home rather then a share house! Currently living on the Central Coast and looking to move closer to uni for the next few years and for a nice change. Unfortunately unable to move out until the start of August as I am having a surgery at the beginning of July and will need to be at home to recover for the month before I am able to move out.
I am a 27 year old full time primary teacher. Love the outdoors, beach and being active. I'm easy going, pretty social, like to catch up with friends for drinks and food. Looking for a place close to good coffee :).
Easy going, clean, respectful of others , do enjoying some down time due to having a busy week schedule with my 3 part time jobs. Come the weekend, I enjoy a social drink, hanging out, being active and surfing. ***I've had to push my move out date forward until I return home from Europe, on September 8th, hopefully this can give people a heads up if they looking for a tenant around september time, thanks
I'm an easy going and super open minded guy. I'm clean and respectful, and am looking to be an addition to a great sharehouse! I Just got a grad job in the area so looking to move in within a few weeks with some fun and chilled people who enjoy outdoor activities as well as having a few drinks.
I’m 21 year old from Newcastle, my current lease runs out in a week and a half so I’m looking for 1 or 2 others to move in with. I’ve been in Newcastle for a long time so if you’re new to the city, I can definitely help you find your way around and show you some cool spots. I’m super tidy (little bit OCD)! I work full time doing civil construction so I work 5 days a week and have weekends off. I surf most days and go to the gym every other day so I’m not at the house much haha! BTW, I’m suuuuuper easy going and I love meeting new people and socialising.
Scotty, 20 from Lambton, I’m a pub & club guard and also work in a pub casually as my second job. My usual routine is starting work in the arvo / night, I finish and get home in the early hours of the morning anywhere from 1:30 to 4 but I’m a very respectful person I wouldn’t make noise when I do get home! I’m on top of my tidiness & cleanliness!! I’m not a fan of mess lol, non smoker but doesn’t bother me if I live with smokers. When I’m not working I’m either usually catching up on my sleep and watch a bit of Netflix or being social catching up with mates for a feed and a beer or similar. I have a easy going attitude friendly and genuine person.
I'm a fun, chilled, social and outgoing person who loves sport and hanging with mates at the beach. I'm clean, tidy and respectful of others. I study PE teaching at uni and I’m in my third year.
One medium-sized room available for rent on Glebe Road, in a semi- furnished townhouse. Situated near all the Newcastle hotspots, it's only a 5 -10 min walk to Bar Beach, Genesis gym and Coles The Junction, 5 mins to Grill'd and Darby St is just around the corner. The house has a big lounge room and kitchen, outdoor entertainment area, air-con in the main section of the house and a laundry room. There is also a single car garage for extra storage, and plenty of on-street parking if you run out of room. The room itself has a massive built-in wardrobe, with more than enough space to fit your clothing collection. It is big enough to fit a queen-sized bed plus all other usual bedroom furniture. You'll also have your own bathroom, as my room already has an en-suite. Bills (electricity, internet, water, etc) will be split evenly.
Hi! I’m Josh and I work full-time for the University of Newcastle in Student Communications. I’m exceptionally clean and tidy, and have spent most of my share-house life living with women and/or queer folk in general, so I tend to function at my best and most comfortable in a feminine environment (feminist home is a must). It’s aaaaaaall about respect. Looking for like-minded new friends who value both socialising and space Spare time is spent boxing, doing yoga, enjoying culture in Newcastle and caring for my two indoor guinea pigs (secure cage, cleaned twice weekly). They’d need a safe corner in a spare room, sunroom or just anywhere out of the way. I also come with a lot of plants, and most household furnishings. Ideally looking to team-up, but I can sell or store my stuff if necessary. If you’re down with this, drop me a message!
I'm a pretty relaxed kinda gal. I enjoy staying active and healthy but also love down time with the tv and a pizza. I'm a signwriter by trade and studying online. I have my own little side hustle that keeps me busy designing. Respectful and clean.
23 year old primary teacher. I'm open to a place with guys and gals, probably around the same age and who don't mind a drink on the weekend 😅 im a tidy person and super conscious of other peoples space. I’d love to have a place where we can hang out and chat but also not looking to live in one another’s pockets.
I am an energetic, positive, life loving 28 year old. I work hard, love to stay active, go to the gym and make great food. Cooking, reading, writing and the beach are essential to y existence and I am always working on becoming a better person everyday. I love all animals, coffee, wine and food. I have just moved to newcastle from port MAcquarie and haven't really made any friends yet so I wont have parties haha
I'm an archaeologist and I play ultimate frisbee which I'm sure are probably two things you don't come across very often. I'm a pretty laid back guy, like to listen to music, relax and watch TV, head to the gym and maybe with my move to Newcastle get to the beach a bit more. I've got a fair amount of bedroom furnishings, and a good TV setup (including sound system and Xbox). I'm moving from Sydney to Newcastle in the coming months for a new job opportunity, and am looking for a place. I've lived in my current house in Surry Hills for two years. I'm fairly flexible on when I move, somewhere in August/September is probably the best time! I'm mostly looking in the Newcastle CBD area at this stage. I'd like to find somewhere I can stay for at least 6 months to start off, with my preference being around a bit longer.
Hola, I'm Brielle I have just recently obtained work in Newcastle and I’m moving in the next few weeks. I am currently looking for a place to call home, an existing room to rent or teaming up with someone. I have my own furniture and internet. I'm a super friendly working professional in my 20's (wise beyond my years) my working background is in social welfare - child protection. I'm super respectful of people's privacy as I love my own alone time but am also quite the social butterfly so I would love a roomie who's up for the occasional drink, cheese platter and banter. In my spare time I love spending it in the surf, going for ocean swims, yoga and meditations, having a drink, catching up with fam and friends, watering my plants.. napping... I'm super tidy and respectful and I love being able to come home to HAPPY, clean and calm environment.
-20 years old (21 in June) -4th Year of Primary and Early Childhood Teaching -Permanent part-time educator at Goodstart Early Learning Centre -I come with a fridge, washing machine, dining table/chairs
Hi! I’m a 23 year old apprentice electrician. I’m looking for a couple of fun room mates who enjoy hanging out but also respect each other’s privacy. I enjoy cooking and clean up after myself as I want to live in a tidy house. Love the outdoors and don’t mind a drink on the weekends. Looking to move out soon so Hit me up ! (I also come with a 4screen Netflix account)
Our place is just like a holiday house! It's close to the beach, close to pubs and restaurants, and has great living and entertaining areas. Perfect for a friendly bbq, deck yoga or a workout session. Air-conditioning throughout 👌 The main room downstairs is currently available. It has big windows and doors which open up onto a little patio. There are three girls who live downstairs and an awesome guy upstairs. We are all young professionals in our 20s and all get along really well. We have the occasional drink together but also respect each others privacy. We split all bills equally between us. Come check it out and see if you're a good fit for our lovely home 😀
You can't get much closer to the beach! Big backyard and front verandah allow for 3 (or 4 including dining room) separate areas. Your room is large enough for a queen size bed and desk. It's light and sunny, with built in wardrobes and a large window.
Spacious older style flat, has a big living room, is a quick walk to the junction/shops, 100m from the beach and has a park right across the road, in a great location! Has a single garage, a sunroom which can be used as a study or TV room. Room for rent is medium sized, with a large built in wardrobe.
Hello :) I am from Munich, Germany, studying in Austria, doing a semester abroad in Newcastle at UON studying film&media courses starting in July. I am looking for other people to share a flat with, or a flatshare which has a room available. I love to do all kinds of cultural things, anything music or art related, I'm calm as well as social, easygoing and respectful. I would love to find some nice people to live with! I am actually looking for a room until November, but for now, a place for a shorter time would be fine too. I don't know Newcastle well, but I'd like to live somewhere central near good transportation to UON.
I'm clean and respectful. Always up for having a chat, going for a drink and just general chilling out. I love to cook and always trying to cook something exciting and love to sit down and share that food with others. I work as a barista and am up early but am quiet when I get up.. And as a barista, I have my own coffee machine so that's a handy thing to have at a place 😉.
Hey! I'm 31 currently living in Melbourne but about to start a new job in Newcastle in the Health sector (working in Media and Comms) around Mid July. Returning to Newy where I went to Uni and worked for a few years before moving to Sydney/Melbourne. Really looking forward to coming back after a stint in some the capital cities.
I am a first year UoN student studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science! I love the gym, animals & food! I’m originally from Forster. I’m a pretty easy going person as well!
We are a clean and tidy couple. We have a little ginger cat called Mr Noodles he’s a rad cat super friendly doesn’t scratch or bite. We are social and outgoing but more than happy to keep to ourselves. We both work full time with standard office hours.
Hi, I’m currently working permanent part-time at Max Brenner (free chocolate) and I will be starting my second job on the 30th of July as trainee at the eye specialist in Kotara. I really enjoy watching movies on my days off, I spend weekends catching up with friends because I don’t get to do that through the week. I moved to Newcastle about 4 months ago and I am currently boarding with my uncle and Aunty. But need to move out very soon as i want to not live with relatives. Easiest way of contacting me is on my mobile or email Madaline Harvey
My name is Sarah and I’m looking for a lovely place to live where everyone gets along and we all have a great time 😊 I study a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design at UON and have just moved off college. I originally come from a small country town in North West NSW, so I’m a country girl at heart 👩🏽🌾 I'm looking to live with like minded people who preferably are health conscious, enjoy yoga/exercise/gym, nice walks along the beach, casual brekky dates or cooking for one another, hanging out together, or occasionally going out if there comes the chance. I’m also very respectful of others space and privacy, as well as having that alone time for myself as well 🙃 I’m not the party type of girl, I don’t go out often and if I do it’s for casual cocktails with a couple of friends. I’m also a super clean freak, so I like to keep things looking nice, organised and fresh! ✨ So yeah, if you’d like to catch up for a chat or a coffee please get in contact with me! I would love to hear from you- especially if you feel like I’d fit into your lovely home 🙂
I’m a grown up female woman. I will more than happily clean, I cook and I like to keep a safe, harmonious and quiet during the week environment to co- exsist in. I work weekends but I totally understand everyone has to have fun! I am an English and writing Major at uni and I ride a bike so I don’t need a parking space. I work in town so ideally would like somewhere close to that if I can.
I enjoy being on the go and being adventurous. I enjoy keeping active, the beach, yoga, good coffee, good conversation, wine, live music and music of any kind and I enjoy being creative. I love having fun but also enjoy down time.
I am 19, I completed my HSC in Sydney at Pymble Ladies College last year, I was a boarder for 3 years so understand the value of own space and privacy and are currently working in a law firm in Newcastle full time as well as studying by correspondence. I am organised, quiet and a tidy person that enjoys the gym, healthy living, cooking and time with my family. Pretty easy going, always up for a chat. I enjoy a busy work week and work long hours so my weekends are a good down time to catch up on either study, go to the beach, gym or to have a couple of drinks with friends.
Hey, I’m Indi, I'm 18 and female. Currently studying sound production at TAFE and working 2 catering jobs. I’m friendly, very tidy and clean, and quiet. I respect others privacy, but I also enjoy meeting and getting along with my housemates. I’d like to make friends with who I live with, and keep good happy vibes throughout the household.
Easy going young dude from Port Macquarie, looking for some quality people to get a nice place with! Working in sales full time through the day with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off. Definitely not a slob, do enjoy my own time and space to myself but very keen to entertain guests as well and meet a quality new social group! Don't mind living with either gender but don't really care to buy into any drama. Enjoy good music, snapping photos, salsa dancing and food... Will rarely turn down a beer either! Work out near Toronto in a display home but unfortunately we all can't just live there! :( but I don't mind the drive to work for the sake of a really nice place close enough to the Action of Newcastle! Keen??
