Hi! I'm from the Hunter Valley and looking to move to Newy for a change of lifestyle. Currently working at a pub in the bar, but looking for a second casual job. When I'm not working I love hanging out with my friends, going to the beach & watching some netflix. I'm a very sociable bubbly person but absolutely love my alone time as well. Would love to live with similiar people! :)
healthcare professional i like to be clean and tidy not a party person bake-aholic - so you'll be fed well love dogs, and may want to adopt a dog in the future, so having a house that is dog friendly would be great. ideally looking for a non-smoking house because of health reasons
I'm currently working full time managing an organic health food store in The Junction, so ideally I'd like to find a place within walking or biking distance. When I'm not at work I'm usually practicing yoga, cooking, reading, swimming & spending time outdoors. I really enjoy connecting with like minded people, but also very much enjoy my own time & space. I'm also a pretty clean/tidy person, so I never make a mess of communal areas & have respect for other peoples space/belongings.
Hi there! My name is Jade and I am a musician, ocean lover and pet lover. I enjoy going to the beach for a bodysurf any chance I get, getting out on my SUP or playing my keyboard. Going out for breakfast is my favourite thing to do! I'm very social and love meeting new people. I don't mind the odd night out but I enjoy some quiet time too. I work from home for a music college based in Sydney but I tend to travel for them quite a bit during the year which means sometimes I'm home, sometimes I'm not. I can be flexible with my working space and will sort out a trip to the library or cafe if working at home will be an issue :) I have LOADS of furniture and kitchen appliances (less than 1 year old fridge!) but I will make arrangements to sell or store as required
Hi I'm Jess, I have a 8 year old daughter that I have full time. I work part-time as a receptionist for an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon. My daughter attends school full time. Because she is at Hamilton, I'm looking for a place in Hamilton surrounds. I know it's a weird thing that you would not normally find an ad like this, but thought if someone is in a similar situation we could team up to find a place. My daughter and I are social but know when to be quiet and keep to ourselves.
I'm pretty chilled and listen to a wide array of music from classical music, Jazz to House and hip hop. I'd like to hit the gym every day but realistically I go about 3-4 times in the week (and super early in the morning at that) I love to read, chill with friends, go to the beach Looking for chilled and clean housemates occasionally up for chat :)
I am currently working full time managing a retail store and work Tuesday-Saturday. When i’m not working, I’m enjoying my days off with friends, reading, exploring, or chilling out with netflix and snacks. I’m looking for a reasonably social house. I don’t want to party everyday, but looking for like minded people to have a few drinks with or cook meals together. Needs to be a home where privacy is respected though, because I do love time to myself as much I like to be social. I’m pretty flexible with my move in date , end of the month works better for me but I can make anytime work!
I'm a 5th year medical student based at Calvery Mater Hospital in 2019. I’m looking for a place to stay during my medicine rotation. Originally from Sydney. Very active, love the beach, food, exercise, yoga and enjoy a few drinks every now and then. Looking to share a house with a positive vibe and friendly people :)
Hi, I’m Chloe 21 years old and currently working full time at David Jones. I’m bubbly, polite, and easy going. I love fashion, getting outdoors, socialising and keeping busy. I’m looking for somewhere quite homely with friendly housemates.
From the outskirts of Sydney originally but have been living overseas for a few years. Recently returned to Aus to do Uni which I deferred many moons ago. I'm studying Psychology because people fascinate me, but I'm interested in a ton of stuff hence why it took me so long to pick a degree ha. I love a chin wag about most anything :-) I work part-time, and I’m into fitness - latest discovery is Juijitsu. I adore dancing and cooking (often in unison- sorry!). I'm a book worm, a beach bum and a charity shop trawler. I'm happiest under water or with headphones on at a volume that geriatric future me will regret! If I had to describe my personality in one word it would be open-minded. I’ve lived in share houses with a fair few people in them since age 17 - I’m nearly 26 now.. I like light refreshments on weekends but prefer partying outside the home. I’m a non-smoker except on rare occasions (big nights, festivals etc). I pride myself on respecting shared spaces & conducting myself such that I’m easy to get along with. Move date is flexible
Hi! I'm Indiana, 20 years old and about to begin a teaching degree at the University of Newcastle (Callaghan campus) mid year. I'll be packing up, leaving my full time office job and moving from my hometown in the Northern Rivers at the end of April. I am a respectful and tidy person to live with, quiet and low key but enjoy good conversations and socialising. I've been raised to always clean up after myself and to contribute to housework, which is what I'm looking for in potential housemates as well :)
Hi! I'm Duncan. I'm 27, currently living in Wickham, working part-time as a doctor. I travel a lot for work - so am often not home - but when I am, am generally pretty relaxed and enjoy a bit of socialising. I'm looking for a house with some friendly people, preferably close to town. Need enough off-street parking for a motorcycle, but otherwise pretty flexible about most things :)
Hi! I am Louis-Marin, 23 years-old, from Bordeaux in the south of France, studying in Paris, and looking for a place to call home in Newcastle. As part of my studies in civil engineering, I will do an internship at the University of Newcastle for the next 5 months. I am easygoing, tidy and always keen to socialize over a beer. I enjoy rugby, climbing, surfing, traveling and netflix. Hope to see you soon !
Holla I'm Andrew, I'm a 27 year old professional working full time in Architecture. I love freediving, yoga, filmmaking and very proud to call newcastle home. Any spare time I have goes being in the ocean or getting active outdoors, but do occasionally catch myself watching an entire season of the office in an afternoon. Through the week I'm really busy coming home late most evenings from either work or soccer, and up for anything on the weekend. Would love a house to have a family dinner with every now & then. I'm enjoy living in share houses so very happy to be live with cats, dogs, smokers, vegans and everyone in between. Shoot me a message if I sound like a good fit.
Hey! My name is Zac and I'm looking for a place for the next 3 months before I head on a overseas trip for a month or two. Work full time Monday - Friday and enjoy a surf, workout or day adventure in my van if I'm not working. Enjoy a casual beer with some mates on the weekends but like to keep home as a place to unwind rather than a party house. Don't mind cooking too so I'm sure I can throw together a meal for the house. Like to think of myself as a respectful housemate who is happy to share cleaning and household chores having lived away for the past 3 years. Looking to not only co-exist but meet some people who I can share a meal, beer or surf with 👌
Hi 👋🏼 I’m an easy going gal from Sydney who is moving to Newcastle to study and work. I’m an extroverted introvert, so I love a balance of social time and time alone. My interests include reading, fashion, lots of exercise, talking about film and occasionally baking cakes. Equally down for a wine and night out, or a chill evening spent on the couch. I’m very open to trying new things, so I’m happy to fit into established households routines. Bonus if there are pets in the house because I am animal obsessed. Looking for a place that is filled with awesome people who I can chat to but also somewhere I can wind down. Ideally I’d like to be near the city and beach to get the best of Newcastle! If you think I’d be a fit for your house, send a message my way.
24 yr full time worker in the allied health profession. Currently living situation is temporary but flexible so I am flexible on the move out dates anything ranging from one month to 4 months. However I am looking for 6-12months residency. I am a chilled person who loves a chat and I live a very active lifestyle throughout the week and on weekends and love being social. I am hoping to find a housemate who shares a similar lifestyle and is also looking for a new friend. I have lived in share houses the last 4 years so I know how to be considerate and keep the place clean and tidy. I love the beach, animals and the occasional cheese platter with wine (of course). Message me if you are looking for something similar!
Jess - 27. Relatively new to Newcastle and looking for a houseshare in the central Newcastle/Newcastle East area. I work full time as a doctor but I also enjoy having a busy life outside work. I love live music, dancing, existing outside (when im not getting burnt) and I'm trying to learn to surf. I'm tidy, sociable, relatively organised, and happy to pitch in with whatever is needed when it comes to house stuff.
Hello, I'm Scottish and I'm currently travelling around Oz. I'm going to stay in Newcastle for at least a few months...possibly longer. I'm a chef, I surf, I love going to gigs and like the occasional night out. I'm looking for a place to stay thats a walkable distance from the beach and has a kitchen. Other than that i'm super flexible and not fussy.
Hey I’m Tj. I work full time during the week as a daycare teacher, and weekend nights in a bar. I am very outgoing and love to be social but also respect personal time and space. I spend a lot of my time in the gym when I’m not at work! Love the beach, adventures and fitness! I have a small white 5y/o female Maltese dog that would be accompanying me.
My names Brianna! I’m 20 and currently in my third year of a bachelor of Media and Communications that I’m completing online. I work casually in retail. I’m pretty social and always up for a conversation, however I appreciate that everyone needs their own down time!
Hey. I am looking for a peaceful home with friendly people. I have lots of experience house sharing and am a friendly, considerate, fun and honest flat mate. I live a healthy lifestyle and would bring a joyful, relaxed and real presence to any house that felt like a good fit for me.
I am in my 3rd year of studying psychology full-time at the University of Newcastle. I also work part-time as a disability support worker, which has very quickly become one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. Before that I lived in India and Nepal for five years, where I was studying Buddhist philosophy and training and working as a Tibetan translator. I'm mostly very quiet and I do like to come home to a quiet house. I like to read and meditate in my room, though I also love having excited and nourishing chats with flatmates while cooking :-)
