I am moving from Brisbane to Darwin on the 28th of December. I will be starting a new job (two-year contract, full time) on the 3rd January. I am looking for a place to call home for at least 6 months, longer if things are working well. I'll also be finishing off my PhD in 2017, so I need to be able to work at home outside of business hours. I could find my own place, but it's nice to have someone around, even if we don't hang out at home. I enjoy an evening run, bushwalking, reading, and cooking (and I am happy to share the cooking with you). I am easy to live with, organised, tidy, and clean regularly (I own a pink vacuum cleaner). My current and past housemates will testify to this and I can provide references; finding a safe, secure, and peaceful place to live is important to me. I am cat- and dog-friendly. If you live near green spaces or running/cycling paths that would be a bonus.

I am a 22 year old professional moving up from Sydney to Darwin for work. New to Darwin. I am looking for a new place to share or rent out. What to expect from me? I am a very laid back person who is respectful or other people's peace and quiet. I am not a party animal but do like to have to occasional drink here and there with friends. I have lived in sharehouses before so I know what to expect.
Easy going 26yo defence member originally from Melbourne relocating to Darwin in January. I work Monday to Friday and enjoy a drink or 2 on the weekend and gyming or chilling after work to relax. Would prefer similar age person to share a modern apartment in Darwin with. I have a small amount of furniture already, not enough to furnish an apartment but too much for just a small room in an already established house. I would prefer to team up or move in with someone in the same boat if possible :)
Looking for someone to join me in Bayview. Just moved into a breezy 3br flat on the top floor of an apartment block with secure parking, a couple of pools and a bay view. If you're looking to have a bit of space and keep a bathroom to yourself, the second bedroom is $250. If we want to save a few dollars and lease the third room, we can split more or less evenly and do $170 and $160 respectively (because the third room is a touch smaller). I'm happy either way, so if there are two of you looking we can definitely have a chat about it. The second bedroom has a private bathroom and its own balcony. All rooms have ceiling fans and aircon, although I haven't had to use the aircon in the living space much because of the breeze. I've brought everything except your bedroom/s, so if you're just getting up on your feet or don't have much of your own stuff, come and have a look. That said if you've got nicer lounges etc, I'm happy to work with that. I've just started a six month lease (but will look to stay longer if everything is working out), so looking for someone to jump on it with me. If this sounds like it suits please get in touch. I work reasonably flexible hours in the city, so if you want to catch up for a coffee or beer let me know.

Hey everyone! I am from Melbourne and planning on making the move to Darwin to start a full time new grad job in Parap around Jan 7th. It would be great to link up with one or a few people who are looking for somewhere to live that is centrally located, preferably with a balcony and pool. About myself: I am pretty laid back and love to get out and about. I have backpacked several years, enjoy guitar, exploring nature - and sharing banter over a good tea or cold beer. Although I will be working hard, I'd love to find a comfortable home with some mates that are also keen to find what Darwin has to offer! Shoot me a message, or give me a call if there's anything you'd like to know. Jordie
Hi there! We're a group of three medical students in the NT for a six months from Jan-Jun 2017. We're a friendly lot and include a gym, a craft and a cycling enthusiast (when there's a need for a break from study!). We're looking to live together as a group of three in share house near the RDH or in the city. Please drop us a line if your house is in need of +3 or replacement tenants for six months!
I'm moving back to Darwin from Townsville mid January and looking for somewhere to live. Would prefer somewhere City/Casuarina area. I'll be finishing my last year of Education at uni and I will be working part time. I'm friendly, like a social drink on the weekend, enjoy cooking and the outdoors. No living with couples sorry. Don't mind sharing with guy or girls! :)
Hi all, Im a fun, easy and out going person who is looking for a furnished room to rent preferably with ensuite and covered parking if possible. Im looking at staying 4 months or longer depending on lease etc - I work full time and don't mind a couple of quiet drinks on the balcony at the end of the week. I also go out every now and then but in saying that I'm also respective and quiet, I'm also a clean and tidy person and I don't mind cooking every now and then. I don't watch t.v as much as I prefer music so I wont be in the way as much either.. If you are looking for some one that fits my description to move in, please get in touch. Cheers, Rob
Originally from Adelaide, Coming to live and work in Darwin for a change of scenery and hoping to explore while I'm not working. I have a job in Parap set to start Mid January and hope to find somewhere to settle just before i start.
I'm a 26 year old lawyer moving to Darwin to take up a 2 year position at Legal Aid :) I am originally from Sydney but have lived in Melbourne for the past 9 months, before that I volunteered in Darwin for 3 months, so I already know and am in love with the place. I am relaxed, easygoing, love cooking (especially baking), reading, hiking and fitness generally. I've rented with others for the past seven years. I've just bought a 4wd and am keen to go camping and bushwalking. I love to hang out with my housemates but also appreciate the need to have our own space! Looking for something long term (I will be on a two year contract) as I have secured something short term while I set myself up initially. I am driving up from Sydney and plan to arrive around 5 January 2017 and will be available to do inspections and meet prospective housemates from that date. Looking forward to meeting my future housemates :)
28 y/o full-time professional moving up from Melbourne for the foreseeable future. New to Darwin, although I have visited for work before so kind of know the area and know a few people here and there. Looking for a new place to share with some cool people, or a room in a house already full of them. Housemates are good, but if you're looking for someone friend-worthy as well, then we should talk. Ideally I am looking for 1-2 housemates. I like people... but not too many. What you can expect from me is mostly Netflix and Chill after work Mon-Fri, but assuming I make some friends and being Darwin, its safe to say I might head out for dinner or a drink on the weekend. I am not a party animal, I just like a normal level of social interaction. I have been living in a share house for the last few years, so I know the drill. I am tidy and I want to live with people who are the same. I can cook, so if you want to have a few meals together then I hope you can too. If you don't do the sharing thing then I am all for that too. I have been living in some pretty cool places so I have some reasonable chat to bring to the table pending you understand my sarcasm. I'll be coming up with a few things but don't have any big furniture yet, so if you're already set up that works for me. I am keen to split the cost for some furniture if you are in the same boat as me as well. Things I am looking for in my life besides a place to put the bed are a gym, a view, a good coffee, wine and some good food, not necessarily in that order. You can expect me to be doing most of those things on a regular basis. Ideal locations I have listed, but if you think your spot is closer to the things I have described above, then have a go at twisting my arm. Ideally I'd like somewhere with parking but if you know I can get parking on the street without losing my mind every day then let me know about that too. Own bathroom would be the cherry on top, but I will be working varying hours mon-fri so shouldn't get in your way either way.

Hi, I'm moving to Darwin at the beginning of next year for a new job with the Northern Territory government. I'm originally from Orange, NSW and studied in Canberra. I'm active and I like to keep myself busy. I have quite a bubbly personality and I'm a social person but I also like down time. I'd ideally like to find one house mate similar age and interests to share a 2 bedroom apartment with me. I'm very clean and tidy and I have almost enough furniture to furnish the entire apartment. I'm very friendly :-) weekend adventures and chats over tea or wine sound perfect to me :-) See you in Darwin!
