ATTN: LANDLORDS/ AGENTS PLEASE NOTE I AM LOOKING FOR EITHER A 2 BEDROOM UNIT/HOUSE TO RENT FOR MYSELF AND MY SON IN OR NEAR MONBULK OR TO TEAMUP IN A 3-4 BEDROOM HOUSE WITH ANOTHER PERSON WHO WILL GO ON THE LEASE WITH ME. I AM NOT LOOKING TO SUBLET. Hi I am a single mum, with an 8 year old son. We are looking to share a fabulous large house with an empathic, easy going, intelligent, tolerant, mature and stable person, or single parent and child. I’d prefer to stay reasonably close to Monbulk for my son. WE HAVE ALREADY VACATED AND HAVE TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION ONLY UNTIL MID NOVEMBER. After living alone for several years, I was very dubious about whether my son and I could adjust to sharing with others. However, after the past 7 weeks sharing a house, (with shared living room and bathroom), after the initial adjustment, it has been great. I have even started to enjoy doing housework a bit more. Being accountable for a shared space is a good motivator. And I think my son has benefited from the interaction with another adult. Sadly, this place is being demolished on 19th November, and my housemate is moving to the Peninsular to be close to his daughter. My son has special needs, (nothing too serious) and requires a stable, calming enviornment. I'm happy to share more about that privately with the right people. He is very outgoing, and friendly, loves interacting with adults and younger children. He loves Beyblades, gemstones, singing and dancing and being a ninja. He watches T.V. but is not allowed Xbox, video games, iPads etc. We'd love to live somewhere with enough space for a trampoline, either outside or a small indoor one. I’m looking for a large place with a good layout e.g. 2 living areas, 2 bathrooms, and good storage space that is easy to keep tidy. Would also like some outdoor space. And a small outdoor storage shed, or space to erect a small shed. I respect other people's privacy, but I am sociable and a good conversationalist. I spend a lot of time reading, researching, listening to the radio and podcasts. I have a background in Sociology and gender studies, personal care and student rights work. I am interested in many things especially culture, society, philosophy, psychology and even pointless trivia. I am fair-minded and considerate of others. I am interested in other people, without being intrusive. I accept people from all walks of life, all ages. With the exception of racist, misogynist, homophobic or people with very right-wing views. I'm currently on a pension with carer's allowance, and studying part-time, and doing some casual work. I am financially stable and always pay rent and bills in advance. I like things to be be agreed in advance, fair and reasonable. I have an impeccable rental history, long tenancies, and always pay my rent in advance. I have no debts, and am not fond of overt consumerism. I vape nicotine, and currently am smoking tobacco occasionally. I recently had a lapse back onto the tobacco. But am working my way back to just vaping again. I'm fine with cigarette smokers , but only outside, and away from my son, and someone who disposes of butts properly, keeps cigarettes, ashtrays etc out of reach please. I don't drink or take drugs. I’d prefer to share with same, but I'm tolerant of occasional drinkers, but no drugs please. I'm not a green thumb or very handy person. So would like a low maintenance property and/ or gardener included. Even better, I’d be open to share costs to hire a gardener and/or cleaner on a monthly basis. Also happy to negotiate fair rent in return for home help. Looking for someone who works part-time or full-time. Or another single parent with a child. Honesty and clear communication is a must. Also someone who understands children and what behaviour, content etc is appropriate/not appropriate for an 8 yo child is important. My son would love a pet. I'm not ready to get one yet. But he would love to interact with and help care for your pets, if you have any. Hope to hear from you soon!
I could not pin down exactly why I'm good to live with yet I will say that every person I've ever lived with have all become friends and remained so long after the sharing of a home. - Brenden
I'm a 26 year old Male looking for somewhere to call home for the next 6 months. I'm a seasonal firefighter who has just returned home for Canada to begin work on Mt Dandenong in late November. I'm a clean, easy going guy who enjoys a bit of banter and keeping fit. I'm looking for some easy going housemates that love life as much as me. Insta: mitchjbrown
Hello, My name is Cass I am 26 years old and I work full time as an Event Coordinator at a wedding reception venue therefore I work a whole range of hours including late nights and weekends! I am a very bubbly, energetic and motivated person that is looking for a share house that allows for not only a peaceful environment but will allow for a friendship to develop whether it be watching movies, going for a walk, cooking dinner together etc. I am currently living on my own and find that it is sometimes lonely when you don't have someone to have a conversation with. I am a very neat person that will keep the house clean and will always be respectful of others. Speak to you soon! Cass.
I’m a 35 year old professional woman that is easy going and easy to live with. While I’m a social girl, I’m a non drinker and am not looking for a party house. I work pretty hard as a restaurant manager so my shift patterns vary. I have friends and family in the area and spend a lot of time with them. I love the outdoors and love pets so am flexible with furry flatmates. I’m clean and tidy and enjoy my own company. I have references available if you would like. I love travelling and try to get away as often as my schedule allows...wish it was more flexible but that’s life! If I sound like someone you could share with please feel free to get in touch. I’m flexible with move dates as I’m living with family.
I'm a 26 year old french man coming to Australia on the 29th of november. I'll get a job almost as soon as I land in Melbourne and i'm looking for a place to stay, at least for some weeks, if everything is fine, for some months. I'm a quiet guy, always ready to help. I'd say I'm fluent in English, native French, and I can understand German. I'm really sportive but I also love to spend some time on my computer. Interested in everything, I love to discover new things. I got no Australian phone number right now, but i'll get one as soon as possible when I'll be there. I look forward to hearing from you.
If you can read this add it means the room/s is/are still available. Right behind Poets Lane right in the middle of Sherbrook Forest with in walking distance of Nicholson Gardens, Burnham Beaches, Piggery Café, Woods Café and numerous bush walking tracks. You can hand feed parrots, kookaburras, magpies, cockatoos, and you will often see wombats, wallabies and echidnas in the mostly unfenced half acre property, sorry no pets because of this. House has a pool room with pool table and pinball machine (the brewery room is still under construction). There is a very large elevated covered deck area looking down into the forest with barbecue and ample seating. Three tiered pond in the front with goldfish.
I am easy to live with. I am quiet, I clean up after myself and enjoy both my own space and a bit of company at times. Not really much of a party animal. My hobbies include computer games, movies, reading and gardening.
I currently work in hospitality, mostly weekends, and I’m studying to be a Veternary Nurse. I love animals and I love people. I like having my own space where I can chill out and have time to myself however I love a good chat as well. I’m Melbourne horn but my dad is from South America and I love going to the dog beachs with my dogs.
I'm a traffic controller who works 40+ hours a week, I have a dog his name is benson hes a boxer :) I'm quiet and respectful but like to be social also! I have my personal car & a work car!
I am a friendly, respectful and considerate person, who has had many share house experiences, I take pride in my environment, happy and willing to contribute to the upkeep of the household. I'm very easy going & I welcome upfront communication to avoid unnecessary disharmony. I have a 3 year old, male, desexed & well natured indoor cat who will be coming along with me. I appreciate personal space and enjoy my own time and respect that of others - as well as I am open to getting to know new people, having a chat and sharing interests. I am part time working in customer service. In my own time, I enjoy music, singing and dancing, anything in the great outdoors, spontaneous and new adventures & love a good movie, comedy, action, an eclectic range of different interests. I don't smoke inside, bad enough habit as it is. I am environmentally & energy conscious so as much as humanly possible, I don't abuse life's privileges.
I am from Sydney. However, 2018 has been the year that I have called Melbourne home. As a housemate you can expect someone who is tidy, has the kitchen smelling fragrant with a variety of different foods. Also I am pretty quiet and usually don't go to bed very late. I have done some travelling outside Australia and it has really made me appreciate what incredible nature we have here, and just a short drive from the city! Therefore, while I am in Melbourne, I want to explore as much of the surrounds as possible and get to know Victoria. I am already in love with the Dandenong Ranges and I know there are many other places close to Melbourne that I want to explore. For me, it's important to have a connection with my future housemates so that we can work on creating a harmonious living space. This also ties in to how long I want to stay in my new location. It can all be worked out on a case by case basis, but for now, I am prepared to give a 6 month commitment. Get in touch, because we won't know how it may work out until we meet. Thanks :)
Hey there, Firstly, I'd like to start by saying that I have a dog. Her name is Oakey and she is a Golden Retriever Labrador cross. She is 3 years old. She is my entire world. Oakley loves people and wants to be everyone's friend. Oakley is an outside dog, so she requires a secure backyard. Although, she needs some space, the property doesn't have to be huge as I take her for a big walk everyday. I understand that having a dog puts me at a great disadvantage as not everyone likes dogs and there are a lot of properties that aren't dog friendly, but i'm hoping there are people out there who don't mind the furry companionship! So, about me - I'm currently looking to share house with 1 or 2 others of a similar age to me. I work full time in Lilydale (shift work - I know...another disadvantage!) and am looking to move a little bit closer without being too close. I'm not in any great hurry, however i'd prefer to move before the weather starts getting too hot as the house i'm currently in doesn't have air conditioning. My interests include going to the gym, cooking and baking. I like to get out and about and visit cafes and restaurants and take Oakley on big walks and adventures. I'm originally from Gippsland and my family are still there, so Oakley and I occasionally go on road trips. Hoping to hear from like minded people soon. Ashlee

I keep my stuff tidy, I’m trustworthy and honest. Happy to keep to myself although more than happy to chill :) Very arty crafty person, and will keep that side of things neat and clean or away if needed... Have recently been through a bit of a tough time, am working full time now but only as of recently. No issues with giving payments but upfront bond is a struggle for me as of yet. Moved out of last residence, with no choice or preparation and very recent so crashing on a friends couch for the moment. If anyone is willing to assist me, possibly happy to receive extra per week maybe towards bond, or have any other suggestions to how I can go about things I would greatly appreciate it.
Jess and Bailey are two eighteen year olds soon to be nineteen that are looking for a home to live in. We do own a dog and understand that this may be a non negotiable situation, however we want you to know we are wonderful owners and pay close care and attention to our animal. We would be sure that our little dog Roxy is well behaved. We both work, Bailey works full time, and Jess is currently a studying but still works part time. We both have our own cars. We are very neat, tidy and respectful people. It would be with great appreciation if you could please consider us. :)

Out a lot of the time and generally just looking for a place to be able to relax after a long work day (or night shift) I’m happy to have deep meaningful conversations or just have a laugh and not interfere with other people’s business. I love films, stand up comedy and cooking Hope to find a nice place 👍
Hey there! I am Simone. Looking for a room to rent or teamups (preferred). I have a stable job, working full time as a Sales Support Coordinator in Scoresby Monday to Friday. I go to the gym after work and then I usually come home and cook, chill and wind down. I very much prefer to keep to myself and just live my own seperate life. On weekends I am usually out or away on a hike - I love the outdoors! Super chilled, tidy (but not OTT) and looking for somewhere I can come home to relax and feel comfortable. I have a Bengal fur baby named Layla so the other person must love cats as me and her are inseparable 🐱
I’m currently living in South Gippsland and studying communication design at Caulfield. I finish my degree in November. At the moment I’m doing freelance design work and casual work for a health food store. In terms of living, I’m easy going and enjoy both socialising as well as down time, and understand that others need the same to varying degrees. I’m also quite tidy and clean up after myself. I enjoy going out every once in a while but am not really a party animal. I’m also interested in health and wellness which means keeping a healthy lifestyle & trying to reduce waste. * I’m currently unsure of my preferred length of stay, so in that sense I guess I’m flexible
