Hi there, I am a healthcare professional and an aspiring physician from Melbourne, moving to Hobart in July to study medicine at UTas. I am extremely clean and tidy, love to explore nature, try out new restaurants and wineries, play some golf or just go for a nice drive (if and whenever I do get the time) and generally try to be as polite and helpful as I can be. I am always up for a meal together but am also very respectful of other people's space. I am definitely not looking for a party house or a place that is loud on the weekend, but a place where we can share a meal, have a glass of wine occasionally and share an intelligent conversation. I am looking to move into a shared house or team up ASAP as my uni starts in the second week of July. Regards, Dhruv
I'm moving to Hobart from Melbourne to start my masters at Utas in the beginning of July. Lived in the shared house for the last five years, so know the drill. Neat, respectful and a Banter. Into cooking whenever I'm free and more than happy to share a meal or two. Love to socialize and respect personal space. Looking for a flatmate who's easy going, friendly and always up for a laugh.
The house is recently renovated with double glazing and insulation, it tends to be warm even on cold winter days. There are great views of the mountain and the city. There's a large deck which is great for BBQs during the summer months. Walking and riding trails up the mountain are only a stones throw from the house. It's a 10 minute bike ride or half an hour walk into the city and an even shorter walk to UTAS.
My name is Lily. I am a 31 year old female who is working part-time. I have recently graduated from UTAS and I am looking for full-time employment in Tasmania. I am a decent, kind, friendly, educated and hard-working professional woman who is easy-going and respect other's privacy. My favorite hobbies are reading books and doing craft works. I am looking for a room for a duration of 3 months starting from July 1st week. Please contact me if you are interested in renting me a room. Thank you!!! :-)

We both look forward to hearing from you guys :)

Hey, My name is Stephen a 26 year old full time employed marine biologist. I'm originally from Melbourne, but moved to Hobart in August of last year. With the recent storm event, my room in a share house in Taroona was flooded, and requires too much repair for me to stay. I've lived in share houses in Melbourne, Hobart and overseas. I am clean, respectful, easy going and have made many good friends from my previous share houses. I enjoy anything involving the water, getting outside, music and relaxing with a movie. Also, I wasn't really sure how long to list the stay so just did 9 months. I hope to hear from you, Stephen

I am a student at UTAS. I am tidy, clean and always try hard to look after the place. I have experience with house sharing before having house shared for over 1 yr and understand the boundaries set with other people. I am a full time study student so will not be home for a lot of the time. I am easy going and friendly to others. I have lived in Australia for 10+ years.
Hi! My name is Megan and I'm looking for a place to stay from August in 2018. I'm looking for a place that will be able to accommodate both me and my sister, Erin, so hopefully you have either a couple of rooms or one large room available. We'd love to be in a 'family' style share house with friendly flatmates who we can have fun with but who also respect each other's need for quiet at times :) Ideally, we'd like to live close to the city, but are willing to move further out if you are on a bus route that has regular services throughout the week. Erin also has a car, so it would be great if your place has parking available as well. A bit about us: we're both currently studying at UTAS, and working. I'm a bit of a grandma on the inside, I love arts and crafts, a good cup of tea and baking (and of course sharing my creations :) ), and I'm also really interested in ecology and nature. Erin's definitely an art-y type, and she loves creating beautiful things in her spare time. Looking forward to hearing from you :)
It is very close to university and it has good access to all amenities. Very independent space , non demanding. Open living areas and private bedroom spaces. Large generous garden with established trees and plants. It is an older house so has some quirks which I will attempt to have sorted as soon as possible. As I have only just moved myself I have some refinement still to do. If you can handle the transition then this generous space will work well for you.
Hi, I'm Aviral from India. I have just arrived in Hobart on 12.07.2018 for pursuing my master's from University of Tasmania from July 2018. I'm mature, kind and fun loving guy. I assure you that you will love my company. Hope to see you soon. Many thanks
A large room will be available for rent soon. Located on the prestigious Alexander St. in Sandy Bay. Awesome location. Next to UTas and around 50 metres away from the Uni library. Walking distance to other facilities. The room is in a five-bed room house with 2 showers and 2 toilets. Large garden. The room is fully furnished with a king single bed, a desk, a chair, a single sofa, a wardrobe, and a short shelf (the pictures were taken before the furniture was moved in). The rent includes water and unlimited internet bills. The electricity bill is shared. The current housemates are very nice and quiet students. We are looking for somebody who is also quiet, clean, considerate and responsible. Long-term rent is required. Female is preferred. Absolutely no smoking, no pets, and no parties. If you are interested please email me your questions or arrange inspection. The room is available as long as you can see this ads.
Quiet split level house with large open living area and nice view. Short (20 min) walk to CBD or Sandy Bay/UTAS. Air-conditioned upstairs with balcony on the upper level and deck downstairs. A small room on the lower level contains the hot water cylinder as well as a workbench which you are welcome to use if desired. A small garden is on the upper level and a slightly bigger garden on the lower level. Balcony in the lower garden perfect for setting up a BBQ if you want. Fast internet connection (NBN 100/40) with unlimited data. Rent is paid fortnightly and bills (electricity/internet) are split between occupants. Any house maintenance or repairs will also be split evenly unless agreed upon otherwise. The house has 3 bedrooms, with the available room being the smaller-sized of the 3. There is a double bed and desk included, but you may want to provide your own linens. You are welcome to remove or replace any of the existing furniture to your liking.
We are moving out of our rental on Lord Street, Sandy Bay and need to find replacement tenants. The house is 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, very spacious and gets all day sunshine. Just a 10min walk to UTas Sandy Bay. There is a nice outdoor area perfect for BBQs in summer. House has a heatpump and panel heaters, Mele oven, cooktop and dishwasher. The house will be unfurnished. We have been living here as two couples which works well, as the main bedroom has an ensuite and is large enough to have a second living area, if you prefer your own space. Rent is $650/week
The house is quite large with 5 bedrooms, a large lounge/kitchen area, furnished with an assortment of chairs, couches, a Thai day bed and bean bags. There is a backyard porch with a modest backyard with a compost corner and hills hoist. There is also a lovely front porch which captures the daily sun while also being amply hidden from the street. It also houses two toilets and one with a double shower. There is off street parking on a relatively busy side street. We also have a cool little cafe across the road. The house is located within a 5-8 min walk of both the Sandy Bay shopping centers and University and a brisk 20min walk away from Salamanca/town. Which mades the location amazing and leaves us less reliant on cars.
Laid back, easy going and tidy. Studying first year at UTAS, and also working casually, mostly on weekends. Pretty quiet and will respect your space, yet will always be up for a good chat. Looking for somewhere closer to town/uni, as I'm currently having to travel a lot.
