Rent includes power, gas, and internet. For rent is a large room with WIR and own bathroom in a spacious house, close to Woden, Canberra Hospital and an easy, flat walk to Mawson shops. There are two living areas and a lovely deck looking over the backyard. Lots of great natural light in all of the rooms, and the shape of the house means it's easy have your own space and privacy. Only a short walk to the inter-town bus that runs every 15 minutes (more often in peak hour).
Hi there, I am 23 years old, clean to live with and at work most of the time during the day. I have an 11 month old puppy who is house trained and extremely friendly with other people and other pets. Easy going and easy to get a long with, Respectful of others and their privacy and have lived in a share house for around 3 years now.
Pretty chill guy who enjoys a few drinks every now and again. I respect personal space but am always up for a chat about anything and everything. Will be bringing my one-man band (Casio keyboard, acoustic guitar). Feel free to use (just don't break anything...). I play games with mates on Sunday nights (and occasionally Tuesdays) and we're always looking to expand the crew. 9am-6pm work hours Mon-Fri, give or take. Can cook quite well and happy to share a meal. Not a huge clean freak; as long as you clean up your own mess, I'll be happy. I don't mind animals but don't have a pet of my own. The less hair the better, though. Looking to share with one or two others, ages 19-28 or thereabouts, either working full/part time or studying. No couples.
Hey there potential roomies! My names Ellie I'm a fun loving nurse working full time at canberra hospital. I am clean and tidy and have expierienced sharehousing situations before. I love to bake and am always happy to chat with my flatmates. I am looking at getting a pet dog soon but can hold off if not a pet friendly home. I do have a boyfriend who will sleep over some nights. I tend to stick to my private areas and will be working early and afternoon shifts. If i sound ideal to you please shoot me a message. I really need accomodation asap as my previous agreement fell through.
My name is Shekh, pronounced like milkshake, only without the oil money or an Etihad firstclass cabin full of falcons. Perhaps one day a Jetstar supersaver bundle of pigeons. I'm a 27 year old ex-Canadian part-time shift-working junior doctor. My sleep and work schedule are erratic but I've lived with some more clockwork oranges and it's been a nonissue. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or fall in love, but regularly rock out to music that glamorizes these things (...all music?). I don't know what else to say to convince you I'm not a delinquent while simultaneously repelling delinquents. I'm just trying to save on overhead and split some bills with another human being without having to marry them, in a spot with heating/cooling, a washer/dryer, quality internet, enough space for my sit-to-stand desk, mutual respect, and firm shower pressure.
Currently working full time at the Canberra Hospital. Looking for a new place to live ! Easy going, social person ,single, Need quality internet to function 😂. I am part owner of a doggo a couple times a week. She is cute af :) kayaking , fishing , running , cheeky beers, brunch 👌.
We are both very friendly and very tidy. We enjoy Netflix binging, copious amounts of tea, and all animals. Looking for a room that can accommodate the two of us comfortably and preferably would not want to share a bathroom with too many people! I am a student (currently online but transferring to UC next year) as well as working part time, and my partner is working full time as a mortgage broker. If you would like to know more about us/meet us please feel free to contact me :)
Hi, my name is Fiona and I am relocating to Canberra from Sydney in less than 2 weeks to start a 12 month contract position. A little about me. I am a quiet, clean and tidy room mate who enjoys cooking, watching Netflix and just generally hanging out . Although I do enjoy being on my own, I will also be happy to share a meal and a wine or two. I am ideally looking for a place that is furnished or partially furnished, and even though I have no pets would be happy if you do. I am open to living in areas other than those I have mentioned, however as I don't drive need to be close to public transport and want to keep my commute to less than 45 minutes.
I'm a public servant who has just moved from Melbourne. I'm clean, sociable and enjoy wine, Netflix and petting dogs. I have a car and will require a car space. I'd prefer to have my own bathroom, but am open to not having it, should the right property come along.
The apartment is a split level 2 bedroom 1 bathroom with living spaces upstairs, bedrooms and bathroom down stairs. It comes fully furnished with a queen size bed and two stacked bedside tables (4 draws in total). The room comes with a full length mirror, built-in-wardrobe and lamp. A set of sheets are included with a doona and pillows. The apartment is just across the road from a bus stop, IGA (with post office), cafe and hairdresser. The Mawson shops and bus stop are just a few streets away, with Woden just 10 minutes down the road. The apartment comes fully furnished with lounge, TV, washer, dryer, dishwasher and other essentials. Bills are not included in the rent are $100 a month, this includes internet, water and power. I also foster greyhounds, so who ever takes the room must be dog friendly. While you are welcome to have people over, I ask noise isn't too loud after 9:30pm on week days just because I get up early.
Very large room with wall to wall built-ins available in mature, quiet, and welcoming home. At present 3 people live in the house ( 2 x full time the other part time) and looking for a fourth. At the front of the house, the room is quite large with wall to wall built-ins and a single bed if you need it. Its quite large. The room shares a bathroom with a male that lives in the house part time. The kitchen is established with a separate breakfast bar. The dinning area is between the kitchen and the lounge room. The patio in the front is lovely in the spring. Three rooms are up the front and another up the back. Only 2 rooms share the main bathroom. The property has a double garage, front yard and back yard. Ducted heating warms the house for 1 hr in the morning and 3 hours at night. Its not a t shirst and shorts house in winter. A heater will be put in the room and this heating is extra. Parks and reserves are all around in Farrer. Public transport is across the road which takes you to Woden. Faster bus services are an 11 min walk away on Athlon Drive.
I'm friendly, quiet and clean. I enjoy hiking, running, snowboarding & hanging out with my dog Remi. I come from Melbourne and am moving to Canberra to work full time as a public servant and am also studying my masters of International Relations. I would enjoy having a chat or a beer with you but am also happy to have alone time.
I'm moving to Canberra in Aug 17 from Singapore , looking for a room to rent. i love to travel and to learn foreign language and new culture. I am a tidy and easy going person.
Safely tucked away in a small complex of townhouses, our place is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom house. A 5 min drive to the Tuggeranong Hyperdome or Woden Westfield. There is also a bus stop right behind our house (a short 10 min bus ride to Woden) The room available for rent is a spacious unfurnished bedroom with built in robes, and could easily fit a queen sized bed or a single bed with a study table. You would be sharing a bathroom with one housemate. Parking is available within the complex – there is also a one car space garage (which we currently rotate usage). The rest of the house is furnished, and comes with reverse cycle air conditioning, dryer, washing machine and fridge. We also have a lovely sized backyard (great for veggie growing), a spacious kitchen, living room and dining. AND...A short stroll to Wanniassa Shops across the road (which has a Coles, Medical Centre, Petrol Kiosk, Restaurants)
I live on a main road in Wanniassa. I have a bus stop out the front of my house were you can access all major town centres in Canberra. I have a three bedroom house, main bedroom has an unsuite. I have two living areas with a seperate office that has two work stations. The main bedroom is the room I am looking to rent. It has 4 built in cupboards. The house is set in a huge block with a private 150sq courtyard. I have shops both sides of my property, one set is 800m away and the other 900m. Internet, Foxtel and BBQ included in rent.
I'm friendly, easy-going, conscientious, neat and tidy and pretty quiet. I work full time as a vet nurse, a job I absolutely love. In my spare time you'll find me relaxing, watching a movie or TV show, going to markets, out for dinner or walking my dog. I'm in no way a party animal, though I'm not opposed to a glass of wine or two. I like to keep a clean house and nothing annoys me more than people who can't clean up after themselves. I really have no huge preference to suburbs in Canberra. So yes, I have a dog. I also have two cats. Tommy is a 6yr old DSH who does nothing but sleep. Maxie is about 1.5yrs, also DSH. She's very sweet and a bit of a homebody. Roy is a small poodle mix, 7kg, about 1yr old, quite timid when he first meets people but a real character once he's happy and comfortable. The cats are outside during the day, inside at night and, being a vet nurse, I'm lucky enough to be able to take Roy with me to work every day! Both cats are litter trained and Roy is house trained. All three are up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea treatment. Can provide referees.
