Hi there, Im a fun loving and pretty busy person, I manage a cafe in Woden 5 to 6 days a week and outside of that I love to keep fit and healthy and travel as often as possible, at home I am clean and tidy and I love to cook :) Happy to chat more about myself in PM and answer any further questions. Prefer a place on South side and Im looking to move in on the weekend of the 19th of August
Rent includes power, gas, and internet. Nice spacious house, close to Woden, Canberra Hospital and an easy, flat walk to Mawson shops. There are two living areas and a lovely deck looking over the backyard. Lots of great natural light in all of the rooms, and the shape of the house means it's easy have your own space and privacy. Only a short walk to the inter-town bus that runs every 15 minutes (more often in peak hour).
I am a 42yo female working 6 days a week as a store manager. I am very tidy and responsible. I am looking for a nice quiet accomodation preferrably with 1-2 people. I am often away, have no pets, my children live interstate. I am nice and easy however keep my distance and do not invade other people's private space. I am planning to move interstate in a few months time but have no particular date set, so my preferred length of stay can be smth from 3 months to 12 months or so, may be a bit longer.
A great townhouse within a secured complex in the heart of the South. Easy walk to Southlands shopping centre at Mawson as well as regular bus routes, or a short drive to both the City and Woden. The townhouse itself is a two-bedroom, one bathroom place with a contained backyard and 2 living areas. The house is fully furnished apart from the bedroom available for rent. The room is of a reasonable size and can fit a double bed comfortably with bedsides and has a built in wardrobe. There is currently a double bed in the room, which can be left there if you need.
Includes, gas, electricity, water charges, Internet and Foxtel. Seeking a clean tidy and respectful person, to share with Owner, and Daughter, who is 20 and a Uni student. Our home also has a Sunroom, studio, outdoor entertaining area with bbq. Share main bathroom. We also have our own studio gym, tennis court and swimming pool that you can use. 2 minutes walk to Mawson shops, bus stop less than 2 minutes from property. Woden is 1.8ks away as is The Canberra Hospital. We both lead busy lives, but ensure our home is kept clean and tidy. We are looking for someone to treat our place as if it were theirs. We have a miniature Schnauzer dog, so sorry no more pets.
Full time Communications/IT/Security guy, and part time long distance uni student, working from home as an advance staff member for my company, before a new office is organised. I'm quiet and independent, but more than happy to socialise when housemates want to. Open minded and accepting of all walks of life. If there's animals, especially a dog or two, I'm a very happy camper. I've lived in 3 share houses in Perth, since 2010, with the same group of people. They were complete strangers to begin with, but have since become very close friends, so I know the ropes of living with other people. Very much a neat and tidy person, especially in shared spaces - no point in creating hassles when it's so easy to keep things clean. Couldn't really care less about smoking (i.e I don't smoke, but don't care if others do), same goes for partying, unless there's a complete consensus with all other housemates. I'm good with a pair of gloves, a spade and watering can. Same goes for power tools, and generally fix most things myself, when the need arises. More than happy to allow the professionals/landlords to do this instead though. If you've got issues with a computers, or even basic motoring/bike stuff, I'm pretty good with that stuff too. Basically a jack of many trades and willing to use these skills. During down time, I love a good bourbon/cider/beer and BBQ, pretty good at marinating a bunch of different types of meat too. Throw some good 90's music, or anything that's been played on Triple J for the last 20 years, and I'm pretty happy. Back in WA, I loved throwing myself and my mountain bike down a trail. I enjoy going to the gym, I'm no crazy junky, but I do enjoy keeping myself fit. I own an X-Trail, that doesn't exactly go overly fast, but get's me out and about into bush land, where camping is very much desired. Drop us a bell, and let me know what's going :)
Chinese Arts student here. Looking for likeminded people to live with. I'm a music and cat person (no problem with dogs or other mammals at all though). Currently studying full time and like vegetarian cooking or walking when come back from uni. I enjoy friendly conversations though not tend to talk a lot. Real introverted and semi-autistic are the words.
I live on a main road in Wanniassa. I have a bus stop out the front of my house were you can access all major town centres in Canberra. I have a three bedroom house, main bedroom has an unsuite. I have two living areas with a seperate office that has two work stations. The main bedroom is the room I am looking to rent. It has 4 built in cupboards. The house is set in a huge block with a private 150sq courtyard. I have shops both sides of my property, one set is 800m away and the other 900m. Internet, Foxtel and BBQ included in rent.
Looking for a FI/FO or Di/DO commuter who works in Canberra weekdays and travels back to main residence for weekends I am renting out a room in my house which is located in a very quiet street in South Canberra. I live not far from the Mawson shops and a short drive from the Woden Plaza and Canberra Hospital The room comes with a new double bed, bedside table, chest of drawers and built in wardrobe. Included with the room is own bathroom and undercover parking. The house is fully furnished and partially renovated with a new kitchen, studio and balcony. I have ducted heating for the winter, air conditioning for the summer and the internet is available Rent is $150 per week, including bills, paid fortnightly in advance. No bond. No lease.
Great leafy suburb with good views in almost all directions. Has outdoor BBQ, central ducted air conditioning and heating. Large house with three bathrooms (plus an ensuite for main bedroom), two lounge rooms, family room, dining room, two kitchens and laundry. House essentially has two separate living areas. Upstairs (where these rooms are) has all the rooms listed above except two of the bathrooms, one lounge room, one kitchen and the laundry. Walking distance to bus stop, this house is in a cul-de-sac and sits high on a hill. It has multiple fruit trees out back. Includes a garage space with remote control access. Room available is a large bedroom, with built in wardrobe and desk. Room dimensions are 2.93 x 2.90 metres, not including robe and desk. Room can be supplied furnished or unfurnished. House has broadband wifi.
Tidy, efficient in paying rent, work full time as a first year apprentice hairdresser.
Very clean. Minimalist. Minimal furnishings inside the home. Need space to think, live and breathe. Enjoy a good conversation with the right people. Always use earphones at home on my laptop to allow others to focus on their own work quietly. I need the same in return. Early bird, asleep by 10pm and up at 5 - 6am. Quiet at night time in the home is extremely important to me after 10:30pm. I am flexible with my housemates with other requests, but my privacy and need for quiet time to do my Teaching work, research and rest in a quiet environment after a long day is extremely important to me. For fun in my spare time I enjoy reading, researching, playing chess and keeping fit. Ideally would like to share with just one male professional housemate at least 30+ years of age, very clean and quiet who I connect well with in some way. I get along with: - Introverted people. - Who keep their home immaculately clean, quiet and very empty (zero to minimal furniture). - Extreme minimalist like a Hindu Temple. I am willing to pay a little extra ($50 per week extra rent), for these above conditions if we click. Please do not waste my time or yours if you do not match this criteria. Thank you. Ideally happy to stay for up to 9 months on a contract if we click.
Our home is literally filled with natural light. Each bedroom has its own external access and floor to ceiling windows that catch the afternoon sun, perfect for winter as the room warms up while you are at work and stays warm once the curtains are closed. If you work in Tuggeranong, it's possible to live comfortably without a car and to cycle to work and shops. The nearest coffee is only 10 minutes walk away, shops are 10 minutes by bicycle. There is a courtyard front and back for catching some sunlight before or after work. Backyard is low maintenance but large and has space for creativity and plants if you are a keen gardener. Freshly painted throughout, carpet free so low maintenance and great for dust allergies. Dishwasher in the kitchen makes life slightly easier and we have a complete kitchen set up including crockery, cookware and coffee grinder! Your room is furnished with queen bed, clothes rack, tall boy and bedside table. The house is fully furnished at the moment, although we are not massive tv watchers so haven't procured one. Space can be created for additional furniture, or you can just move in. Currently there is a washing machine and fridge. If (God forbid) one of these breaks we would have to discuss the best approach to replacing for the household. But they are fairly new and dont show signs of damage so far, so we should all be fine!
My name is Latifa. I have a full time job working in the Defense sector and need a place to share for min 6-9 months. I am clean, tidy and quiet and respectful of others. Non smoker. I like to cook and tend to eat at home on weeknights. Happy to share house hold chores to keep the place tidy. I own property in Perth and my family lives in Perth. I am relocating to Canberra 2nd week of May. Looking for a room to share where parking is a possibility (Okay with off-street parking, as long as there is no time limit on parking) and with easy access to public transport to Russell Offices. I have temporary accommodation sorted, so looking for a share house with long term potential. Happy to provide character references from colleagues and friends in Perth as well as a work colleague from Canberra.
